"I did make a reservation but really didn't need it as we were the only ones in the restaurant, we opted for the all you can eat menu. to be honest the difference between the buffet style and normal menu price wise is minimal, we compared with what we had to the normal menu and it was only £3.50 less. the only thing is the buffet menu is very limited (basic). The portions are very good and Allan the host bagged up our left overs to take away which they don't normally do for buffet lunch. They run tribute nights which we will book in the future as the acts seem quite good plus they do girls night, prosecco all night and a lads night(cobra lager) i would like to go to an evening seating to give a full review but this restaurant can be interesting."

Came to Colchester to do a survey. Ate here for 4 nights. Food was some of the best I have tasted and I eat a lot of curry. 22 in a row is my record. Staff friendly. Highly recommend. View menu

Food was mediocre went as a family of 13 for a birthday, the bill was given to us at £288 but when we paid separately the total came to over £330. Staff are rude, grabbing plates away abruptly. Won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend.

Booked in advance for a family birthday, was advised that the price was £14.95 . Food was fine nothing fantastic. Bill arrived and was charged £18.95 , we queried it but the staff said that was the price . I paid it as I felt awkward but left no tip. Feel conned

We booked for tonight at one price, but when the bill came, was at higher price, they said it was correct, not happy at £16 extra, but “ if “ we go again, will clarify price on arrival, the advertise on FB a price but don’t give it on the day. Ordered takeaway as usual Indian was closed. Checked reviews and all good. Order was over 45 mins late and food was so bland, a total waste of money ! The vegetable vindaloo had zero heat or flavour, just few vegetables and quite dry. The saag paneer had strange sweet aftertaste and lamb chewy. Really disappointed and would not recommend or use again to be honest, maybe it would be better to dine in with the entertainment that would make it appear better. Really was the worst Indian I have ever had in Colchester.

NICE INDIAN RESTAURANT, It 's my go to Indian restaurant, food always good quality, warmest welcome, clean n tidy always, been 3 times in 2 months, Points . 1 easy to park 2 buffet for under £15, has been as little as £11.95 3 friendly so friendly 4 I recommend you try, food will not disappointed 5 English grilled food too I would feel comfortable going straight from work or booking a family event. It 's just great. My personal favourite. Give it a try instead of cooking, £15 all you can eat buffet come on thats gotta be worth trying it once,
