"This takeaway doesn't deserve even a star. We waited an hour and a half for the food, and when I phoned them the first time chasing my food they said it was with the driver and on its way. I phoned them 15 minutes later as the food still hadn't arrived and they are only 2 miles down the road. They said they would call me back and when I asked them to confirm my telephone number they hung up. I tried several times later to ring them with no answer. Luckily we ordered through Deliveroo so should get a refund. What makes it worse is we are on holiday in Swansea, and this is our first night here so we have not had a great experience so far."

"This is our go-to Chinese takeout spot and we often order from here for pickup! The food is delicious, well-prepared, and appears to be clean (although sometimes the meat can be a bit fatty). Our usual order consists of salt and pepper chips, crispy shredded beef, chicken fried rice (similar to special fried rice but with smaller pieces of meat), and any type of chow mein (all of them are delicious, it's hard to choose!). The appetizers are also tasty! I'm not sure why they only have 3.9 stars, because we can't find any faults with their food and I am quite particular. Just ask my friend!"

"Terrible customer service. At 10:50, one of the waiters came to tell us that they were closing in 10 minutes. At 10:51 they brought us the bill and then at 10:52 they started taking the payment. They were basically kicking us out of the restaurant. I removed the service charge (which is optional), for the same and they then came and took the plates away when I was STILL eating. Disgraceful and extremely poor customer service. I do NOT recommend this place at all."

"We have been using this restaurant since we moved to the area in 2019. The menu which has changed recently in my opinion is awful. They have taken away lots of the menu items, rearranged the menu in the weirdest headings but most of all the food quality has dropped massively. It’s time to find a new Chinese restaurant to deliver some better food with a more regular and standard menu. What a shame that it has gone so down hill."

"As vegans we usually end up in an Indian or Thai restaurant since we know there will always be some compliant dishes that we can order. The restaurant is tastefully furnished and decorated. The building is one of the few that reputedly survived the big 1666 fire. There is a beautiful antique leaded stained-glass window with the date 1625, and it is too bad that the inscription of a blessing is mostly hidden on the inside by a row of fake orchids. We ordered tom yam soup, broccoli with garlic sauce, tofu with ginger, green vegetable curry and two orders of brown rice. Eventhough these were simple dishes, they were executed very well, with a perfect balance of flavors and spice. Having had the same dishes in Thailand many times, I can vouch that these were as good as those I had in Thailand. Some previous reviews mentioned that the portions were too small. I disagree. We were able to share the dishes between the two of us and there was more than enough. We ended our meal with the ubiquitous sticky rice with mango, which was excellent. The use of pandan leaf to flavor the rice was a lovely surprise. The rice was also not as cloyingly sweet as in some other places. Definitely worth going back to."

"Took my family for a dine in expecting a high standard given some of the reviews but to my surprise the whole experience was utterly negative. First of all the place is not clean at all which makes me want to see the kitchen hidden behind a closed door! We were handed a menu which had sauce stain all over it, flies in the air, rock hard burger, under cocked ribs to name a few of the alarm bells. The irony is that they charge you a premium as if you are dining in 5 star restaurant. Not recommended at all."

"The food and value are great, but unfortunately the day I went with my colleagues the service was horrendous. There were only 2 girls working the entire restaurant and it showed; we struggled to get our drinks served and had to correct them a few times after they got it wronged. We also had to ask them for a wipe after the waitress spilled hot water all over our table. They also got our food order wrong, and I had to wait for my food after everyone else had been served. I would go again but only when they are fully staffed!"

"I have the chicken wings from the Meat-Himmel section for delivery. on the list is that it comes with fries, salat and 8 wings. I exchanged the pommes for curly frries and the salat for coleslaw. the taste is very good. I ordered here several times and every time I ordered it was very tasty. an improvement that I would suggest is that they should contain complementary asses as garlic and cool. the second time I got the filet stake with mushroom sauce and that was fantastic"

"we have visited the Thai place several times before and always had a wonderful service and great eating and drinking. Previously there was an amazing cocktail menu and the personal was always so friendly and welcoming. at this opportunity we were very disappointed to find that the beverage menu was very reduced only 4 cocktails and 2 of them were not available) . the atmosphere in the restaurant was not the same as we visited before and the 2 employees seemed uninterested. the food was as always, amazing! full of taste and beautifully presented so that we enjoy our meal, but the evening overall was not the one we were <br looking forward . "I had a previous bad encounter with noodle box back last year when I was called a liar by the management. I ordered calamari and was sent some sort of round things. I rang up to obviously inform them of their mistake and the manager...actually turned round and said you’re a liar we can tell the difference between calamari and the item I had been sent. I had to send a photo to the managers phone to show them what they sent and I was told oh well we can’t all be perfect as you obviously are. Tonight after begging from the children to order I gave in. The food was piping hot and in all fairness very tasty. However there was a portion of calamari missing. I rang the store straight away to inform them of their mistake and was told no you got what you ordered. I brought up my order on their app and once again was told I hadn’t ordered it. The manager then told me I couldn’t add up as I hadn’t been charged. Once I broke down my receipt to him and went through each addition separately he finally admitted defeat. I was then told at 18:22 the missing item would be with me within half an hour to an hour. I rang back at 19:31 to enquire where my food was and was told someone would call me back. 19:48 still no call so I rang back 4 times before my call was finally answered to be spoken to by the same gentleman I had initially spoken to and was told that it would be with me within 15 minutes. He telephoned me at 20:04 to be told he was just leaving the shop and he’d ring me when he was in my road and I could go out and collect it from him as he obviously can’t be bothered to bring it to my door. The food is great I’m not going to lie but the customer service is beyond appalling from the counter staff to the management. It’s now 20:17 and it’s only just turned up and was told we’ve given you a complimentary can...really?? I personally will NEVER order off this restaurant and I really suggest people follow suit. I can honestly say I’ve never been treated as poorly by any other restaurant or takeaway and I really suggest the management look at their own attitude and management skills and then look at the whole staff as a complete unit. Bad management is toxic and it shows in the way your staff treat your customers. Absolutely hands the worst customer service in the whole of Cardiff."

"Had a very nice early dinner before you go to the Royal Albert Hall. Food was nice, service was friendly and efficient. My only criticism is the table size that the table for two was very cramped for two of us when there is a bottle of water and a bottle of wine in a cooler and food on several plates. It could be an idea to get one of those wine coolers buckets that somehow hang from the table, as this would be more room on the table to be able to eat without fear, something off."

"Ordred this twice at my friend's apartment and the food is really good, Penang Curry is spicy and tasty. Tempura Prawns and fish cakes were really nice. We also ordred Duck Pancakes which was very nice and filling. The papaya salad is sooo good!! Food is always at a good quality and done at a good pace. Will deffo order again and try more dishes!
