"Booked for bottomless brunch on Saturday, only to turn up and find the restaurant closed. My friend had travelled from Liverpool and myself from the other side of Manchester, so to say this was disappointing is an understatement! I rang the number and in fairness they answered, but I don’t feel they offered a solid resolution. They claimed they had tried to get in touch but I’d confirmed the table the day before through the Opentable text I received. I had no missed calls, no other texts and no emails from Aamchi. Their reasoning for cancelling was that we were the only booking which is fair enough, but any form of communication would have been appreciated! I believe if they’d have just cancelled through open table it would have notified me so I don’t believe this excuse of trying to get in touch they clearly just forgot. If the booking had been cancelled then we wouldn’t have been as annoyed and would have saved hours (and the cost) of travelling between us! They offered to give us “something special” the next time we come, but considering we travelled out of our way to come for the bottomless brunch, I can’t say I’m willing to make the journey again to risk another disappointment. Shout out to Chit and Chaat where we had a great meal as an alternative!"

"The food at this restaurant is delicious, but their non-delivery service is a major let down. We waited 50 minutes for our delivery this time, and had a similar experience in the past when a 30 minute order took over an hour. The website said it would be 45 minutes this time, but when we called to inquire about the delay, we were told the driver was 'on his way'. When we asked how much longer it would be, we were told it would be another 20-30 minutes. This would have made it a total of 70-80 minutes from the time of ordering. When we tried to clarify how it could be both 'on his way' and '20-30 minutes more', we were met with silence and no attempt to resolve the issue. We decided to cancel the order, and were thankful that we had chosen to pay with cash on delivery, as it gave us that option. We will not be giving this restaurant a third chance, that is for sure."

"Arrived and seated straight away drinks ordered and arrived within minutes , ..poppadoms and chutneys arrived very nice , wife had Keralan spiced King Prawns and i had Chicken Tikka Dhansak with Mushroom rice and a Baby aubergine side ..did not have to wait to long even though restaurant busy ...food was excellent very tasty and the Keralan spiced King Prawns were very well presented and included rice ,Dhansak sweet sour and well spiced excellent ,side dishes and rice etc as expected very good, all in all a great meal ,excellent staff attentive but not over the top .very generous portions and mid priced with a couple of rounds of wine and beers , coffees and 12.5% service under a £100 highly recommended."

"I arranged a meeting and decided to go to a competitor's Indian restaurant, but it was a bit challenging and some of the staff were not very friendly. A friend recommended this place to me, and I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. The menu offered a good selection of dishes for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The portions were quite generous, and in hindsight, I probably should have ordered a smaller mixed grill, but it was Christmas after all. The Indian mixed grill we ordered was excellent and arrived at our table sizzling hot, creating quite a bit of smoke. The portion size was large, with enough food to comfortably feed 4 people with the included naans. The value for money was fantastic. I also tried the lamb saag, which was tender and flavorful. The sauces and dips were served in a nice presentation, rather than being in large squeeze bottles like some other places. They provided paper napkins, not cheap kitchen roll, and offered a take-home option for leftovers. The staff was very friendly, and I look forward to visiting again in the future."

"The only downside to dining here is the overwhelming variety on the menu! It’s truly fantastic. I ordered a selection of dishes for our group, and they were all exceptional. At around 6 PM on a Sunday during the pandemic, we happened to be the only group in the restaurant, which made the atmosphere a bit lacking during our visit. However, we will definitely return soon, and hopefully, it will be a bit busier then. We can’t complain about anything: the food, service, and overall value were all excellent. In fact, our meal was 25% cheaper than a visit to a chain restaurant just two weeks ago. Thank you, Asiana Spice! It’s a hidden gem in Henley!"

"this is a new-ish curry house that was taken over by the mehak. it is worth visiting, as both eating and personal are hard to impress. more and more Indian restruanten go for the super-Blande and brown gravy angle than when they buy their food wholesale from 'iceland' this eat tastes authentic and in-house but on the 3 insass I was, they have managed to repeat the meal (I know boring! on the same standard over and over again. I recommend it."

"I recently returned to Aroma Spice, a restaurant that has been a favorite of mine since it opened in 1999. Known for its delicious Indian cuisine, Aroma Spice has always been the top choice in Hampstead, and possibly even in all of North London. After being closed for three months, I was worried that the restaurant may have suffered financially and gone downhill. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Aroma Spice had been reopened last week with a fresh new look. The restaurant has been revamped with a modern and stylish design, featuring a beautiful long bar made of wood and granite. Despite the new renovations, the atmosphere remains relaxed and inviting.
