"Booked online but phoned ahead before arrival to alter the time, which was accommodated without issue. The food was excellent with a notably extensive menu of vegetarian dishes as well as meat. It also has a split menu between Nepalese and Indian, allowing the opportunity to try new things while having plenty of old favorites to fall back on. Trying the Nepalese dishes for the first time was a revelation; very fresh ingredients and interesting flavours. Highly recommended."

"The mixed grill was delightful, and I particularly appreciated that it included a Tiger Prawn. For a perfect five-star experience, the prawns need to be fresher, though. Unfortunately, the Sag Paneer was disappointing; it was just dry spinach with chunks of paneer, lacking any seasoning or additional ingredients. It was quite dry, so I might request some cream and garam masala on the side next time and mix it myself! The service was average for an Indian restaurant, deserving of three stars. The staff were friendly, and it was pleasant to dine there. It's great to see that the restaurant has significantly improved since our last visit a few years ago."

"fantastic restaurant, we strolled along the mile and thought to try ziya asian grill and can honestly say we ate the most lively, delicious foods that we ate in a very long time, the restaurant was busy, very fast and I can see why. the staff was so friendly and welcoming and the open kitchen looked immaculate, with a chef who gave us a hearty wave and a smile. we will return definately, do not skip starter when they were the stars of the show"

"We visited Jasmine last October and had a fantastic meal, but tonight was really disappointing. The starters were just mediocre; my chicken chaat tasted as if it had been repurposed from another dish, and the channa puri was bland and resembled overcooked chickpeas soaked in red sugar water. We had both of these dishes before, and they were delicious! Additionally, they didn’t seem to expect us, even though we had made a reservation for my mother's 70th birthday party through OpenTable."

"We ordered the Beetroot Carpaccio with feta, spinach, and walnuts, and requested it as a main course, which was accommodated without any issues. However, we were disappointed with the dish when it arrived at our table. It was lacking in flavor and had grated carrot, which was not listed on the menu. The feta and walnuts were barely noticeable, and the dish seemed to be mostly comprised of spinach, beetroot, and carrot - possibly cheaper ingredients. We were expecting chunks of feta and walnuts to add some more depth to the dish, but unfortunately, it fell flat and was underwhelming. My own dish was good, but it was missing sautéed potatoes. Overall, the experience was dampened by the disappointing dish. Additionally, we were charged for a small bottle of water, while other diners received a complimentary jug. It was our first time at the restaurant, so maybe we were just unlucky that night. On a positive note, the staff were fantastic, and the restaurant had a beautiful layout."

"Update 31/1/18: I've now been to the actual restaurant which is a nice modern space. Food was great as always, service a touch weird as the server was just very quiet. We have had takeaway from the Yak and Yeti several times (they deliver further if you phone the restaurant than if you try and order on Hungryhouse). They have a whole vegan section of the menu with over 20 dishes and so far we've tried about 10 and haven't been disappointed with any. All the dishes are very reasonably priced at around £6.95 for a curry dish and the vegan special fried rice and mushroom rices are excellent. With a vegan section to make it so easy, we don't bother trying to get curry anywhere else! Only thing to note is that when we order they often send a couple of free poppadoms and I think the generic green dip they send with it is (non-vegan) yogurty. "We went to this restaurant on December 31st to fuel up before New Year's Eve. There were 7 of us and overall, the service and reservation went smoothly. The service was very friendly, but a bit rushed, which is to be expected at a busy restaurant around New Year's Eve. There were a few times when a drink was forgotten, but it was quickly resolved when brought to their attention. The food was delicious, I was thoroughly impressed. I requested for it not to be too spicy, and it was made perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did my friends. The value for the price was excellent, it was very affordable. I will definitely be returning in the future."

"The service was friendly and attentive. I was shown to my table and presented with a menu. I ordered pappdoms and a pickle tray. The four pickles were tasty. Cobra and Kingfisher were on draft. I ordered a pint of Cobra but it tasted off so I asked for Kingfisher instead. I was not charged for the Cobra as the waiter agreed it was off. I ordered the Lamb Biryani which came with yogurt raita or curry sauce. It was spicy and the portion was large. My bill came to £17 which I thought was reasonable."

"Having been a regular customer at Monty's in South Ealing, I had to find another curry house in the area while displaced. Tandoori Villa nearby didn't quite meet expectations, so I decided to give Zayka a try, given its reputation. The staff was friendly and attentive, but I found the prices to be quite high. The mains were around £12, and £7 for sag aloo felt overpriced. The butter chicken was decent, but some of the chicken was tough. The rice and naan were also on the expensive side and nothing special. Overall, for the price, I expected exceptional food, but it was just average. I rated it 3/5 mainly for the service and effort put in by the staff. Personally, I wouldn't return due to the price, but I wish them well. In response to the owner's reply, I appreciate the acknowledgment. The food didn't quite suit my taste and was pricey, so replacing the dish wouldn't have changed much. It's clear that Zayka is popular among many customers, just sharing my unbiased thoughts on my experience and the overall value for money. The service was excellent and friendly, which I noted in my review."

"This was my first time visiting this restaurant, but it definitely won't be my last. A friend recommended it to me and I had an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious, with a wide selection on the menu to choose from. The drinks list was impressive, the decor was beautiful, and the staff were attentive. The restaurant manager was very pleasant, and as we were celebrating my friend's belated birthday, he surprised us with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a cake with a sparkler - a really nice touch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and absolutely loved it."

"After a few years, I am pleased to say that the food quality at this restaurant is still quite good. I give it a full mark for consistency. The menu offers a simple mix of traditional favorites and specialty dishes. We tried the fried fish tendon and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable, given the current circumstances. Overall, we left satisfied and felt that our money was well spent. I would definitely recommend this place to those looking for a change from the usual Punjabi or Dosa dishes.
