"I ordered The Don with Chunky Skin-on Fries and Garlic Mayo dipping sauce. It was the best burger I have ever had! No wonder there was about a 15-20 mins wait, because it was worth it. The waitress was adorable. I would definitely recommend it and I wish we would've visited it another time to try something else, it is a must-try!"

"Easy to get to, nice seating. Service was slow, expensive meals with chips!! Poor choice of food for children. Poor quality burger for child's meal, poor choice of lettuce with cheap quality buns. Hubby had a large burger but he was very disappointed with his. Having said that, my tuna was delicious, nicely cooked well presented, nicely portioned. If all standards followed this dish, stars awarded would be higher. Overall disappointing experience due to higher price comes with higher expectations! We will not be returning anytime soon. Improvements suggested: customer service, menu choices and quality/price."

"I've past this Giraffe a few times in the past and especially in the morning, it's busy in the morning. When you book a table online it will give you two options; standard or top. I booked it standard but I was curious of the top option, so I've changed it and was happy with the result. Location is within 10min of Victoria station, venue has both in/or outdoor seating so option is there. It's not a super big venue but it seems that there are enough decent space between the tables. Service was ok, they were not a lot of people in the restaurant so not sure why it took longer to get our main when my main came, the visual appearance is nice but the chicken was lukewarm and borderline cold. Didn't complain cus I was not sure if the chicken was meant to be cold as the salad plate that I got, well it was cold. It's a nice restaurant and worth a visit. The while Giraffe set up reminds me a bit of Zizi."

"As someone who is lactose intolerant, it can be challenging to find suitable options. However, while many might roll their eyes at requests for lactose-free meals, the staff here quickly provided me with a customized menu to accommodate my needs. For £10, we enjoyed a breakfast that looked just like the pictures, complete with hot drinks, and we ordered some toast on the side. One thing to note: they weren't open at 8:50 AM, but I can't wait to return for that fantastic breakfast!"

"I made a reservation two months in advance, but when we arrived on time, they told us they couldn’t find our booking. Instead, they allowed a party of six without a reservation to enter. Even after I showed them my confirmation email, they informed us there was no space available. Just when we were about to leave, they somehow managed to find some emergency chairs and seated us right in the middle of the restaurant, despite many empty booths and tables scattered around that remained unoccupied throughout the entire hour we were there. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

"I have always frequented this restaurant with only a few minor issues. However, last night we placed an order and I specifically ordered a doner burger meal that was supposed to come with a choice of chips, curly fries, or wedges, and a drink. I chose curly fries. When the food arrived, there were no curly fries. I tried calling multiple times but was met with a constant answering machine. When I finally spoke to someone, they were rude and insinuated that I was lying, despite the fact that I had paid 5.99, which included the curly fries (I will attach a screenshot as proof). After about 10 minutes of arguing, the person said they would send out the fries, but they never arrived. I couldn't get through to them again. I will never patronize this dishonest and rude establishment again. It's time to find a new place to spend our money, as they do not deserve it."

"EDIT They did change it to a bolognaise wen I phoned but I still wouldn’t eat out here again. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and a portion of macaroni cheese, pizza was undercooked and the macaroni cheese was as if it was made with powdered milk as the colour looked like it hadn’t seen a block of cheese! "Me and my husband took our 2 children down The Bull for lunch a few Saturdays ago. Excellent for the kids as have play area, children's booths and had a bouncy castle that particular weekend. Love how accommodating they are for children.... slush puppies, popcorn, mocktails, icecream, fab kids menu etc. We had a nice bit of food too, love the summer grill menu. Place was well maintained and clean. Staff were very friendly. Bit of a wait at the outdoor bar but what do you expect on a Saturday when the weather is lovely! Will be returning soon, thank you for a great afternoon!!!"

For some reason, we often find ourselves at restaurants where the quality of food doesn't match the price, but that was not the case here. I’ll break my review down into sections, starting with the quality of the food. **Quality of Food:** I couldn’t fault it at all. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we both agreed on that. The fish and burger were particularly memorable; neither of them left us feeling sluggish or unwell because they were cooked to perfection. They had a homemade feel and were healthy yet filling—way better than a greasy fish and chips joint or a typical burger place. Everything was served hot and met very high standards. For starters, we shared some garlic bread, which was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. It was a generous portion for two, and it came with a sharp knife, allowing us to cut it into eight pieces—four satisfying pieces each. For dessert, they had some great options, like honeycomb milkshakes and other unique offerings that you don’t often see, but sadly, they ran out of what my friend wanted. We ended up going for the classic vanilla milkshake and fudge cake, which I can confidently say was amazing. It was the best dessert I’ve had in a long time! It was so creamy, and the vanilla ice cream was anything but boring; it tasted exactly like proper vanilla should. **Price of Food:** We were pleasantly surprised when our bill came to just £37, especially considering the generous portions we received. It was absolutely worth the price. Just a note about leaving tips: if you want to tip by card, you need to ask the staff to add it into the card machine because they have to input the amount manually. **Staff:** The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Even the bartenders noticed my friend’s shopping bag and kindly found a plastic bag for them. **Service:** The service was prompt, and if we needed more time before ordering dessert, they happily accommodated us. Since we visited on a Monday, it wasn’t too busy, which meant we could enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace. **Variety of Menu:** They offered an extensive menu with so many options. Even as someone who can be quite picky, I found plenty of choices to satisfy my cravings. There wasn’t a huge variety of desserts, but the options they had were excellent. **Cleanliness:** Everywhere seemed immaculate, including the cutlery. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"1st time here as was given a voucher by family who use this place regularly. Lovely place and very snug but comfortable inside if a little loud. It was my wife and I and our 3yr and 6 Yr old granddaughters. Starters came out and they were lovely. Very tasty and fresh. (I had prawn cocktail, wife had haggis and whisky sauce and the girls had garlic bread all lovely! . Then it was like we were forgotten about and when the mains finally came out I was a bit disappointed. The girls both had a simple 7 pizza both were burnt .... one worse than the other. I had the chicken breast with haggis and whisky sauce before I even touched the haggis all I could taste on the potatoes and veg was pepper whether a pepper sauce was used accidentally or that's how it normally tastes, I dont know. (They tried to tell me it was the haggis that was peppery and it was normal but I hadn't touched the haggis yet tried my wife's starter and that was lovely . Her steak was spot on (hard to mess up but she enjoyed that. Myself and the girls didn't eat much and to their credit they removed the items from the bill which was appreciated. The main insult was when the waiter just handed my card and receipt back without even looking at me or acknowledging my thank you and simply marched away. Like I said was a nice wee place and we were looking forward to trying it out we hadn't eaten since breakfast but won't be back. Appreciate the food removed from the bill but the waiters attitude (although not horrible outrightly was not acceptable."
