"I had a very disappointing experience. I made a reservation at the restaurant, but when I arrived, I found it closed for a private event. It was nearly impossible to find another place to eat, so I ended up inviting my friends back to my house for takeaway pizza instead. If the restaurant had updated its status to indicate it was closed, I could have made different plans. Overall, it was quite frustrating."

"I ordered The Don with Chunky Skin-on Fries and Garlic Mayo dipping sauce. It was the best burger I have ever had! No wonder there was about a 15-20 mins wait, because it was worth it. The waitress was adorable. I would definitely recommend it and I wish we would've visited it another time to try something else, it is a must-try!"

"offer for immediate booking to be fully told restaurant. michael must have felt my disappointment when he said that we sort it out. Bless him! we were gone with a three-year-old and late enough as it was, so what a relief. because it would be so busy and we agreed to the pressure I felt for grateful, but expected that some would not be great. I was wrong! michael was a really friendly, organized and efficient front of the house manager and made us very welcome. stephan then came to take our order and was patient, despite very busy, supportive and knowledgeable. I asked for the meal of the child to come as fast as poss and the pizza was in less than 10 minutes, despite a whole house. that was great. our food came and the staff in the kitchen had made a job, it was all nice and well worth it. serviced hot, plentiful and attractive. both stephan and michael took care of us and made a chance to stop a great one. Thank you for keeping us in, we had an explosion."

"As someone who is lactose intolerant, it can be challenging to find suitable options. However, while many might roll their eyes at requests for lactose-free meals, the staff here quickly provided me with a customized menu to accommodate my needs. For £10, we enjoyed a breakfast that looked just like the pictures, complete with hot drinks, and we ordered some toast on the side. One thing to note: they weren't open at 8:50 AM, but I can't wait to return for that fantastic breakfast!"

"I've past this Giraffe a few times in the past and especially in the morning, it's busy in the morning. When you book a table online it will give you two options; standard or top. I booked it standard but I was curious of the top option, so I've changed it and was happy with the result. Location is within 10min of Victoria station, venue has both in/or outdoor seating so option is there. It's not a super big venue but it seems that there are enough decent space between the tables. Service was ok, they were not a lot of people in the restaurant so not sure why it took longer to get our main when my main came, the visual appearance is nice but the chicken was lukewarm and borderline cold. Didn't complain cus I was not sure if the chicken was meant to be cold as the salad plate that I got, well it was cold. It's a nice restaurant and worth a visit. The while Giraffe set up reminds me a bit of Zizi."

"I made a reservation two months in advance, but when we arrived on time, they told us they couldn’t find our booking. Instead, they allowed a party of six without a reservation to enter. Even after I showed them my confirmation email, they informed us there was no space available. Just when we were about to leave, they somehow managed to find some emergency chairs and seated us right in the middle of the restaurant, despite many empty booths and tables scattered around that remained unoccupied throughout the entire hour we were there. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

"I have always frequented this restaurant with only a few minor issues. However, last night we placed an order and I specifically ordered a doner burger meal that was supposed to come with a choice of chips, curly fries, or wedges, and a drink. I chose curly fries. When the food arrived, there were no curly fries. I tried calling multiple times but was met with a constant answering machine. When I finally spoke to someone, they were rude and insinuated that I was lying, despite the fact that I had paid 5.99, which included the curly fries (I will attach a screenshot as proof). After about 10 minutes of arguing, the person said they would send out the fries, but they never arrived. I couldn't get through to them again. I will never patronize this dishonest and rude establishment again. It's time to find a new place to spend our money, as they do not deserve it."

"Me and my husband took our 2 children down The Bull for lunch a few Saturdays ago. Excellent for the kids as have play area, children's booths and had a bouncy castle that particular weekend. Love how accommodating they are for children.... slush puppies, popcorn, mocktails, icecream, fab kids menu etc. We had a nice bit of food too, love the summer grill menu. Place was well maintained and clean. Staff were very friendly. Bit of a wait at the outdoor bar but what do you expect on a Saturday when the weather is lovely! Will be returning soon, thank you for a great afternoon!!!"

"EDIT They did change it to a bolognaise wen I phoned but I still wouldn’t eat out here again. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and a portion of macaroni cheese, pizza was undercooked and the macaroni cheese was as if it was made with powdered milk as the colour looked like it hadn’t seen a block of cheese! For some reason, we often find ourselves at restaurants where the quality of food doesn't match the price, but that was not the case here. The fish and burger were particularly memorable; neither of them left us feeling sluggish or unwell because they were cooked to perfection. They had a homemade feel and were healthy yet filling—way better than a greasy fish and chips joint or a typical burger place. Everything was served hot and met very high standards. For starters, we shared some garlic bread, which was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. It was a generous portion for two, and it came with a sharp knife, allowing us to cut it into eight pieces—four satisfying pieces each. For dessert, they had some great options, like honeycomb milkshakes and other unique offerings that you don’t often see, but sadly, they ran out of what my friend wanted. We ended up going for the classic vanilla milkshake and fudge cake, which I can confidently say was amazing. It was the best dessert I’ve had in a long time! It was so creamy, and the vanilla ice cream was anything but boring; it tasted exactly like proper vanilla should. **Price of Food:** We were pleasantly surprised when our bill came to just £37, especially considering the generous portions we received. It was absolutely worth the price. Just a note about leaving tips: if you want to tip by card, you need to ask the staff to add it into the card machine because they have to input the amount manually. **Staff:** The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Even the bartenders noticed my friend’s shopping bag and kindly found a plastic bag for them. **Service:** The service was prompt, and if we needed more time before ordering dessert, they happily accommodated us. Since we visited on a Monday, it wasn’t too busy, which meant we could enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace. **Variety of Menu:** They offered an extensive menu with so many options. Even as someone who can be quite picky, I found plenty of choices to satisfy my cravings. There wasn’t a huge variety of desserts, but the options they had were excellent. **Cleanliness:** Everywhere seemed immaculate, including the cutlery. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Under no circumstances ever trust this place for delivery! I understand that in military circles, there is a phrase to the effect that amatuers talk about tactics: professionals talk about logistics . Perhaps the Cavaliere should reflect on this. They are genuinely capable of producing some of the most amazing Italian food south of Edinburgh (I 'm being serious) but the delivery service is absolutely pathetic (based upon multiple experiences, but tonight took the biscuit). Waited ages after the website told me that my order was on its way and, ended up having a quite awful conversation with a staff member who hung up on me and then I called them back to cancel. To be absolutely fair to them, they did say that if the pizzas were cold, they would remake and redeliver. Unfortunately, having worked briefly in the food service industry, once I complain about food, I walk... forever. Sorry Cavaliere!"
