"I've used Neelams and was very much disappointed. We ordered few meal deals and order was served very badly. I think staff even don't know the meaning of customer service. Every meal was not served as per their poster in the shop. No sauce, no salad and even if deal says chips also part of the meal, no chips were served. I have to remind the staff for everything pointing him toward his poster in shop that there was drink, there were chips part to the deal but you have not given. Kebab and curry size was like a kids meal. Curry ordered twice both had a different taste. Restaurant was not clean at all. If they can't keep restaurant clean, their food can't be clean and fresh. The worst and most stupid thing was that whenever I reminded that you have not given chips, naan or salad as advertised on poster. He was laughing behind the counter. I'll never ever go there again. I would highly suggest the staff to learn the meaning of customer service. customer service ? customer service? customer service? order was for 8 years, on the last few occasions, i've been disappointed with the size of the Kebabs, all a little smaller, less salad, less chicken...once is acceptable, twice is questionable, a third time seems like your taking the mike...there won't be a forth.. : [hidden link]"

"We ate a late lunch here as a family of 4 last weekend. We were in a bit of a rush as we had to catch a train, and the food did arrive very quickly. I think to pay £9.95 for a halloumi wrap with salad is a bit on the pricey side and would’ve expected a few fries to be included at that price. The souvlaki salad and grilled chicken mayo sandwich were both really over-seasoned unfortunately. On a positive note, the staff are very polite and helpful."

"looking for somewhere, the authentic bbq is hard, as most of the plants reheat once smoked and that changes the taste and textures, but here. it's crazy fresh. I pampered on a cool Saturday afternoon and ordered a tablet from hot left, briquette, chopped pork, pork, and a side of the swallow. eating was very fast and therefore I can only fathom it came out of the smoker and just on the tablet. the brisket was so moist and melted in the mouth, the pork ribs fell apart with a clean bone removal (not easy for pork ribs) and the hot parts were full of taste. the test of a big BBQ place is also their BBQ sauce, which was beautiful and spiced (back of mesquite) and the pickel, brewed in the house and delicious. service was attentive and super. a good lunch late afternoon."

"Gladly giving one gold star to Pizza Italia, because as a last resort it was better than a pot noodle. Truly bad food ordered through Just Eat, but gotta admire the audacity of the delivery driver asking for an extra fiver when he arrived with the order. Particularly liked the option to select a single salad item to accompany my cremated parm. Opted for the white cabbage, which was soggy enough to balance the dryness of the chicken. On second thoughts, I should've stuck with the Bombay Bad Boy."

"This restaurant is very convenient for me because they serve food during early hours when I am most hungry and eager to eat. However, once the hunger subsides, I realize that the food is not very good. The chicken pieces have an unpleasant taste and are often undercooked. The masala fish pack is decent, but only if it is freshly made. The fries are oily and sometimes cold, so I usually discard them. The pizzas are mediocre, neither good nor bad, but I suppose I can't be too picky considering limited options in Perry Barr in the morning."

"The menu is great, good prices and lots to choose from.The desserts were also very good. Sadly that was our only positive. My steak was freezing cold, fries were hot so that was a bonus. The whole place was freezing, we all ate with our coats on. We received the bill and noticed the 20% discount for January hadn 't been applied. When we raised this he said well you didn 't ask for it and he then applied it begrudgingly. Their Facebook posts advertising the deal make no mention of needing to mention the discount, check your bills before paying!!!"

"Very disappointed. Ate there yesterday, staff lovely I ordered potato skins with pulled pork. One was a mouthful of chewy fat, the others forkful of meat. The chips were the smallest portion I ever had a portion and none of the food was overly hot. I ordered a tonic water which tasted like bitter soda. of our party could not eat their fajitas because they were so spicy they had to eat ice cubes. Bill came to for food that was disappointing. for a coke is outrageous. Food far too expensive simply ripping off public. Cocktails"

"we order from here weekly. the same is the week in the week as we like what we order. every single week there is something. last week for example no bbq sauce on the chicken and today at night pizza and garlic bread over boiled and a piece. I always say on my order to make sure that the pizzas are not overcooked (kids will not eat them otherwise). on my last order tonight I asked the bbq sauce to actually come with the meal as it should. it came absolutely incubated, until the point where I could not eat it. looks like they have done the exact opposite for purpose! "Around 3:45 today I went into this fish chip shop(my second ever visit). Had planned to buy a fish supper. I was the only customer in the shop at this time. I had noticed one female employee outside smoking, and there was one male staff member behind the counter(biggish lad, tanned skin, bald) who seemed fixated on his mobile phone. After being stood there for almost a minute without so much as an acknowledgement from him, I purposely did a small cough, assuming this might raise his attention? Sadly it didn't and even with the internal access door through to the market slamming in the wind..our friend's concentration on his phone did not waver. So after being ignored for almost 2 minutes, I assumed my business was not required from this establishment, so exited. After leaving I politely mentioned my dissatisfaction to the middle aged female who was still outside smoking, but sadly her attitude left a lot to be desired..she simple couldn't care less!! My previous visit to this same place around a month previous, I'd found the food prices good, but the staff noticeably mediocre..now it all makes sense."

"I received a call from the moniker 1 hour before our booking for 6 for christmas lunch informed me that they did not provide tables and would not confirm the booking of opentable. they mentioned that they had problems with opentable in the past and while they were very sorry that the inconvenience had nothing to do to make the right. it is obvious that the attempt to find a table for 6 during the holiday is near impossible, but I am pleased to report that the corn exchange on 1 minster court was friendly, courteous and able to create a place for us. I would highly recommend to take their business there and stay as far away from the moniker as possible."
