"Our group of 5 visited Cafe Venice for the first time after attending an England rugby match at Twickenham Stadium. It's a 20-minute walk from there, so not much different than a venue in Twickenham town center. I made a telephone booking about 10 days before our visit and clarified that on rugby days, they offer a restricted menu at lunchtime but a full menu in the evenings. Note that there is a good specials menu in addition to the extensive menu on the website. We had booked for 6:30 pm, and the restaurant was busy with many other customers who had also been to the rugby match. We received a warm welcome, and the service throughout was friendly and efficient. For starters, we had dough balls, mushrooms, mussels, calamari, and whitebait. For mains, we had carbonara, calzone, and sea bass fillets, all served with salad or chips. The portions were generous and very tasty, and the food and wine were reasonably priced. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Cafe Venice and will definitely be returning."

"I 'm not a vegan, hell I 'm not even vegetarian but that doesn 't mean you can 't eat vegan food and I do enjoy eating v/vg food regularly so my review is from the viewpoint of someone that simply looks at this type of food as, 'is it objectively good? ' rather than comparing it to meat alternatives because frankly you can get two drastically different pork sausage rolls so comparing vegan to meat is the wrong way to look at things imo. I 've been to Vegan Antics three times and tried their cupcakes, biscuit slices, sausage rolls, pasties, paninis and jacket potatoes. I have to say that I have broadly enjoyed everything that I 've tried from there. The tuna mayo jacket potato the first time really was excellent both in terms of flavour and texture and the pasties are soft, flaky and comforting. The biscuit slices were really good and the only items we were indifferent about were the cupcakes where the sponge had a slightly unusual flavour to it but this could be a one off and we 'll certainly try them again. I do plan on trying their other offerings such as the freakshakes and hot dog so I will update my review but overall I think it 's a great cafe offering excellent vegan food. Slightly marked down on service as whilst the staff are lovely and informative, it was quite a wait for my food despite pre-ordering but it looked like that might be down do the capacity of the equipment as opposed to anything else."

"The place was good and affordable if you're looking for cheap food. The pizzas taste really good when it's freshly made. However, when it got cold later and I warmed it in the microwave it wasn't as good as when it was fresh! I also ordered potato skins which were not good and were really dry. The customer service is quiet nice. The communication however is not clear. I asked if the meat feast had pork and the guy said no but it had pepperoni. The wait for 2 large pizzas was 15 mins, so they are pretty quick. They're also open till late so that's a plus ! I've added pics of the menu for the prices!"

"One of my favourites! They do the best garlic pizza I have ever had. Unfortunately I don't work local anymore otherwise I would definitely be paying they a visit. If you like abit of spice and something abit different try there Bombay bad boy. It's definitely a bad boy! You'll soon find out! "First visited this restaurant in the mid 70s, when it was brilliant. Since then it's had it's ups and downs, but now it's back to its best. The food was excellent okay one meal came with fries not wedges but we didn't mind), burgers can be tweaked without being made to feel a nuisance, atmosphere was good and the music at the right level and era. Staff were busy but helpful. Had a really good lunch main course only) and was in and out in an hour."

"My wife and I visited for the first time and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. On the contrary, it impressed. The owner, his sister and the staff were very warm and welcoming. We felt more like family than customers and this made the experience so enjoyable. We had the garlic prawns and lamb’s liver to start simply delicious and cooked perfectly. Liver is very easy to overdo but this is as good as it gets. We both ordered the mixed grill for our mains. I’ve eaten many mixed grills in the past but this was just perfect and plentiful. Soft chunks of meat cooked with care. This place is a cut above your everyday Turkish restaurant. Everything about Chef’s Cuisine was just perfect. We believe that great food and service should go hand in hand and Chef’s Cuisine have nailed both. As long as they continue to meet such high standards, which I’m sure they will, we’ll keep going back. Just try stopping us!! Looking forward to my next visit already."
