"I initially made a reservation through Open Table, but when I arrived, they had no record of my booking! As a result, there was no table available for the four of us, and we had to wait for one to open up. However, they offered us a drink as a goodwill gesture. The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary, and I found it to be a bit overpriced for what we received. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, which improved the experience somewhat."

"my eating was great, the starter was nothing special, but the steak was amazingly soft without chew or fat bits, even if the garnels were a bit burned, so I would say it was a great meal. However, the person I had ordered the same got quite nothing but fat and chewing bits with her steak, so I would say that it is a bit of a hit and miss when it comes to the quality of the food here. but the staff was very friendly and understanding. they even gave us a ticket for a free meal at the next visit and free desserts. so everything in all cannot try too much in any case at least."

"We visited the Six for the first time for our 2nd wedding anniversary. We heard fantastic things about this place so we decided to treat ourselves to somewhere special for our anniversary and this place did not disappoint! From the warm winter vibe we got walking in to the amazing service, the views and in particular the wine and food. We were eating from the winter set menu and it was amazing on all 3 courses. We were given superb service at our table and they were always back at our table topping our drinks up. As it was our anniversary they went the extra meal and gave us something extra for dessert which was a very nice touch and means you come away remembering excellent service and quality food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of trying somewhere different in the city, we will certainly be back! I imagine the views in the summer will be amazing!"

"I will not be going back here if I’m paid. Besides the fact they’ve taken almost all of the vegan options off, there’s a curry and fajita, which isn’t really a fajita it’s a reheated sloppy wrap! I know this because when asking about allergens or if I can take stuff out I was told it was all premade. I asked for a gluten free wrap as it was part of the option and was given a regular wrap and told about that after I had began eating it! I made my allergies very clear and the waitress tried her very best and was lovely but it seemed the kitchen staff really didn’t have a clue and something in my food set off a reaction even though I’d checked and there shouldn’t have been anything in especially since this meal was meant to be vegan (my main allergy is milk)... On top of this, the lady who came over to assist was extremely rude and insisted if I didn’t need to go to hospital it didn’t really make any difference and it wasn’t their fault so they wouldn’t do anything! Reluctantly she refunded me and said “here you go Madame if your money will make you feel better take it we obviously don’t cater to the likes of you” utterly appalled. "Treatz is located on a bustling section of Stratford Road. The restaurant offers plenty of seating space and features comfortable, contemporary interior decor. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food quality is excellent. However, there is no on-site parking available, so customers must park a little further away. "I recently had dinner at this restaurant and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The price per person ranged from £20 to £30, which I found to be quite reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Speaking of which, both the food and service were top-notch – I would give them a solid 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also excellent, creating a pleasant and enjoyable dining environment. "I payed £4.35 for a piece of Fererro cake to take away. When I arrived home and started to eat the cake I noticed it was quite old and the taste was not great for that price, but I decided to eat it as I was craving something sweet. At the last 2 bites I discovered a thick, dark hair coming out of the piece on my fork (definitely not mine). If the price and quality didn’t disappoint enough, then the hair surely did! “Good job” Afters!!!"

"We had wanted to try Crepes Cones but it was closed. Insteat, we saw the eye-catching colors of Afters and decided to give it a try, thinking it would be similar to other dessert places we enjoy. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I ordered the Ferrero Rocher waffle and received a stale waffle with chocolate sauce and mixed nuts that seemed like they were leftovers from a bargain bag at the grocery store. The Ferrero Rocher was nowhere to be found. My husband's Very Berry ice cream was overly sweet with a red sauce that was too much for our teeth, although the fresh berries were a highlight. We left £17 poorer and very unsatisfied, with the staff simply telling us that's what we ordered. Save your money and stick to a Solero or Calippo instead."

"book a table for by opentable becouse ask italian online booking not working properly and not answer the phone despite rings for a few minutes we sat and then came the manager and asked the booking. he explained that ask italian no longer used opentable. that was very embarrassing. I felt we were not welcome. the man came back and asked for the booking confirmation. fortunately I printed the booking confirmation and could show him this we ordered our starter and net. Unfortunately, the starters did not arrive and one of the main things was missing. the management gave us a reasonable discount without asking, which was polite and respectful although I had given a bad evaluation, I would nevertheless return this to a unique experience, as ask italian has provided a very good service for a family-oriented base restaurant for us in the last few years. it may be due to a change in management at this particular branch. we're going back. If there is a re-creation, we will assume that there is a decline in the service that it traditionally provides and goes elsewhere."

"We waited for an hour for our food, but it never came. The restaurant was not very busy, yet we were seated at a small table. When another diner arrived, she was seated right next to us, even though there were five other empty tables in the same area. The tables were already close together, but they moved her table even closer to make room for the empty tables. It was so cramped that I couldn't even get out of my seat. It was such a bad experience that we ended up canceling our food and leaving."

"I had the worst restaurant experience in Edinburgh at this place. The food was not good (we ordered the chili chicken ramen, regular chicken ramen, and vegetable gyoza). The service was really bad too. My friend got their food but I had to wait over 20 minutes because no one checked on us. I had to ask a different server for my food, and it wasn't even being prepared. Definitely not worth it. If you want ramen, go to Maki and Ramen instead - it's much better. There are also better Asian food options in town."

"Have not been to the Chop House for years but really enjoyed my last visit. All members of staff we came across with were very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious as usual. We opted in for a set menu and I had a mackerel salad which reminded me of Niçoise salad, with an egg, plenty of mackerel and French beans, my friend enjoyed Haggis fritters. For the main I had a ham hock which came with thick cut chips, they were crispy from the outside and fluffy inside and runny yolk duck egg, absolute perfection. Dessert was a classic Sticky toffee, I have had it many times in the past and was pleasantly surprised that the recipe hasn't changed, it is absolutely delicious, generous portion swerved with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce. We really enjoyed our meal and service from the moment we arrived and left. Thank you"

"I visited Allium to pick up two pizzas to go, and the entire experience was a disaster from beginning to end. Although the restaurant was empty, I had to wait about 30 minutes only to be informed that they had no pizza boxes for takeout. Instead, I was offered the option to carry the pizzas on plates down the street. So, we opted to dine in. Honestly, I think frozen pizzas from Iceland would have been a better choice; they were awful. The crust was as hard as cardboard—probably frozen beforehand—with just some extra cheese thrown on top. This definitely doesn't reflect the quality of a top chef!"

"I can't express how impressed I was during my first visit to the restaurant tonight. The atmosphere was incredible as soon as we arrived, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We ordered various dishes, and I couldn't get enough of the 12oz fillet steak paired with a half lobster – it was absolutely superb. We also enjoyed a delicious calamari starter, followed by the amazing fillet, and we topped it all off with sticky toffee pudding and cream, which made the evening perfect. My partner and I were both blown away by everything we tried, and our choices were spot on. We're already looking forward to our next visit in a few months, and we left completely speechless by our experience."
