"The day of the Christmas party, I had called to find something out and the bar manager had told me one of the food we ordered had been swapped out as you guys did not have this which was fine but it would have been nice if we were updated before and given options on what we could have instead. My colleague had asked to see the breakdown receipt and the only reason this was not questioned on the day was because I was not there at that time and was told about this after Christmas. The bar staff were drinking alcohol behind the bar.They did attend to our needs when we asked. When we saw the receipt there was tip that was deducted from our drinks tab, when i asked the question I got 2 reason 1) this was a normal service charge and 2) the normally stop the bar tap from going over this was not told to me when i first got in contact with the sales manager. We had paid £300 for the food and we expected the quality to be better, but it wasn't, going back to the tip when i spoke to the lady she did not apologies and she mentioned how they were disappointed as they did so much for us, yes... but we paid to be at the venue and we are disappointed as well! I sent my feedback to the sales manager and no response back which i thought was very rude and not really good customer service."

"The security manager was rude, threatening, aggressive unprofessional to us: representing a shambolic excuse for what claims to be a joyful venue representing the vibrant nightlife of London. We were three people waiting to see a friend for his birthday: he’d paid in advance, and we were excited to celebrate with him: yet we were banned for the entire evening, since the manager developed an inappropriate and emotionally-charged vendetta against us simply for holding one beer between three of us (the majority of which remained unconsumed, with offers of immediate disposal), and ‘cutting in line’ since we had a friend who’d booked a table. The equivalent of the Highway Code must be studied in detail so as to qualify for entry. This was consequently a simple misunderstanding of an unwritten rule book, which we clearly deserved the utmost punishment for… An unforgiving ‘one strike and you’re out’ policy seems more like army recruitment than evening entertainment: so if this sounds like your idea of a fun evening out then I’m sure this would be your ideal spot! Nevertheless this illogical draconian dictatorship and condescending zero-tolerance policy perceived our ‘unacceptable behaviours’ apparently as reason enough to prove we were a threat to the running of the club: and despite civilised attempts at sober, polite, and respectful discourse: we were banned from entering, without opportunity for adult discussion. At no other establishment would an eye-roll be acceptable behaviour towards paying, willing, and well-intentioned customers. The entire experience was a complete waste of time. This treatment was unwelcoming, patronising, rude, condescending, unpleasant, uncomfortable, unreasonable and illogical: and none of us will be returning ever again. I’ll be warning everyone I know against coming to this unpleasant venue. A truly overwhelmingly unfriendly atmosphere. Humanity, empathy, and logic were abandoned in exchange for callous and unconstructive service via unprovoked and highly inappropriate emotionally-charged, flippant dismissal. Staff (the manager) seemed to be threatened by civilised people willing to spend money at a premises designed for joyful activities. Our night was ruined. Avoid at all costs."

"We were in JAM in Sir Thomas Street, Liverpool now twice had promptly, friendly service in clean, bright environment. The coffee specialities are very welcome. 5 of 6 of us were vegetarian, we had a fairly limited choice, so one of us was disappointed that they would run out of Veggi Burger! She chose salad that was ok, but not ideal, chips that quickly disappeared! The Mushroom Risotto was really good. Two salmon table cakes as starter at about £5.50) seemed positively generous when compared to a very small goat cheese tartlet a handful of rocket salad as main £12 50) I wonder if the cook feeds for a day full of work?! Good work there was a pot of new potatoes. Only 1 x dessert ordered a veritable plate of bread butter pudding, on a rubbery black substance on top no evidence for even 1 stream or Sultana, neither the white chocolate on the menu promised. I don't eat Custard would like to have given some options. 2 x v. cold, hard strawberries did not do well. A mixed review, therefore we like your establishment some of the foods that requires some beautiful tweaking. The service was great, both from the kitchen at the table. We will take into account hope that our feedback that helps others make the necessary difference. P.S. I have submitted an application to your main office for parking information; it has never happened before, although I said that the one forum review mentioned some good parking nearby, but just don't say where!"

"I took my son there for a steak. On arrival, we were asked if we had made a booking and this was checked up on their screen. As the majority of the tables were empty, I thought they would fill up. However, by the time we left, the majority of the tables were still empty; begging the question as to why reservations were such a big deal on arrival. My son ordered a 12oz fillet steak medium which was butterflied rather than grilled whole which we did not understand as it came from the tail end of the fillet rather than the butt or prime end. I ordered a 12 oz ribeye medium rare. Both steaks came cooked exactly to order. The fillet was reasonably tender but the ribeye had membrane that had not been removed and made it quite tough eating. In addition the ribeye had been marinaded in some form of sweet dark sauce which could be clearly tasted and which spoiled the overall taste of the ribeye steak. The accompanying pepper sauce was rather bland. The fries and sweet potatoes were reasonable, the grilled tomatoes over-cooked and the mushrooms were good. The English mustard requested was in front French and I heard an adjoining table have the same challenge. I do not believe that they had English mustard on that night, or perhaps at all. When the ribeye was pointed out to the waitress, the response was a quite blase Oh really, well I 'll be sure to tell the chef . Apart from that, the service was acceptable to good. The malbec ordered was a little rough but quite good. We ordered tap water which came in spring-top bottles; a rather nice touch. Would I go there again? Possibly for a burger but not if I want a good steak."

"I am a strict critic when it comes to Fish and Chips, but after searching all over Britain, Trident has proved to be the best. The fish and chips are always fresh, cooked to order, and made with love. The service is friendly and I always have a great experience. My only suggestion would be to get a location with tables and an alcohol license so I can enjoy a bottle of red wine with my meal. Overall, Trident is excellent and I will definitely be back when I am in Swindon."

"The restaurant experience was overall positive, with the exception of our 4-year-old grandson who requested pancakes but then rejected them because they weren't like his papa's pancakes. "DO NOT DO THE BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH! If I could give this place no stars I would. The service, attitude of the staff and the food and drink were diabolical. We booked a bottomless brunch for a hen do, to which half of the food menu was not available at 12pm! We didn’t have a first full round of drinks until an hour in to our two hour session. We were told there was no cranberry juice, which is the base of most cocktails, to which we ask what can they do and they went to the shop and bought some. Out of the three non alcoholic cocktails they could only make one even though they were on the menu. To top the whole lot off one of the chicken burgers was EXTREMELY RAW and this was given to a pregnant woman. We were told by the person behind the bar that this was not the first time this has happened either. We highly recommend that they do not serve bottomless brunch anymore as the service cannot be provided."

"I order their winglets and double chicken breast burger and was quite disappointed. Winglets was nothing more than average but the burger was hopeless. Firstly, the size of the chicken breast fillet was not more than a cube of chiken piece. Secondly, their bap/bun is that rustic style, very hard crust. Most importantly, the taste wasnt great either. I had the fiery sauce which a bit hot. The burger was completely dry and there was nothing in it to make it a bit moist. I didnt have their platter or whole chicken but that looked a bit better. Honestly, speaking you need to improve the quality and taste. Lastly, the price is too high for whats being served. I have given them one star...read more"

"make a bit of a new round trip since she moved here for uni after trying the cheap and yet overpriced food along the caffe, they decided that nobody could screw up a burger meal. this place...maybe if they manage to get safely inside, the gauntlet of roadmen outside try to look good and forge both the builders and stands with limited health and safety knowledge and the UberEats/deliveroo drivers waiting outside, they get in, what looks like it might be cool in that it is no longer cool. prepare to repeat their order v-e-r-y slowly, at least three times before they get a knot and ask to share with a considerable sum of cash. I brought it home and slowly talking, had not worked as any piece that was pushed in the bag was wrong. if they thought mcdonald's lack of taste, then they will be disappointed here. not sure if there was a burger or the carton under a microwave castle? vegetarian housewife was given chicken. or soylentgreen. who knows how this place is open, I don't know, but I won't go back. I didn't want to complain personally because the roadman probably wouldn't have appreciated it. prove that they should stick to what they know."

"I had lunch at this pub recently on a Thursday with a few colleagues. We had a selection of food including the sea bass special, cottage pie, and a chicken and mushroom pie served with truffle mash peas and gravy. We also had a selection of ales including Meantime pale ale, Camden Hells, and one of our party (being gluten intolerant) was surprised but pleased to find a gluten free ale available (although at 5.2% strength he would have preferred a weaker option). We thought the food dishes were restuarant standard and reasonably priced if not cheap. The pub had a buzzy and lively atmosphere but not too noisy that you couldn't talk."

"Unfortunately the Cow and Apple Dorchester was not up to the same standard as the one in Yeovil. Service was good but the milkshakes were not thick and quite watery. My burger had lots of tiny bits of bone in it which was very off putting. They also didn’t seem to have our booking and were surprised when I said we’d booked a table. Luckily they were almost empty so no problem getting a table!"

"We had dinner for six at this restaurant over the weekend, near closing time. We ordered a variety of dishes for 6 adults and sat at the clean and inviting indoor tables. The food was delicious, portion sizes were generous, and the staff were incredibly friendly with great banter. We would definitely consider stopping by to eat here again in the future."
