"La Baronia really is the best restaurant in Southampton. The food never disappoints, the portions are substantial and the service is great no matter what day of the week you go on. The enchiladas are the best dish on the menu, do not miss...out!! There are always familiar faces amongst the staff which makes every visit even better. They are always so nice, welcoming and friendly. I am so glad La Baronia has managed to stay open over the various lockdowns and has continue to provide Southampton locals with their Mexican food fix!"

"I telephoned during the day to ask if they were delivering.. they said no which I accepted. Half an hour later the manager phoned me and asked if I still wanted delivered food. I was starving so I was very pleased to have placed an order. The approx delivery time was an hour but he said he'd try to get there sooner. Hour later manager said the driver was just walking out of the door. I live less than 10mins drive away. 20mins later and driver is still on his way to me!! 1hr 40mins lata the driver is apparantly outside! 2hrs later and I had to finally cancel the order. Manager offered to give me the food for £10 which I stupidly accepted! Manager actually delivered the food himself!! Food was awful, brown lettuce, rock hard, cold stale chips and chicken burger, sauce on chicken (which was sizzling hot) was undercooked and only half of my order in bag!!! I AM NEVER EVER GOING THERE AGAIN! RUINED MY DAY AND APPERTITE."

"beautiful, fresh, Mexican cuisine, huge vegan selection. they always ask for the evening menu also on the day as they have more choice. clear vegan and gf options marked. I had luck enough to try the whole vegan menu in running the time (family who were happy to share it instead of ordering meat options my faves are the sweet lizards and the vegan nachos. that is enough for a whole. it is also a very safer space to eat alone, and I love to go into the window seat and watch people."

"I’m extremely saddened to write this review of the white horse. Its a place I use to love visiting, however it has been slowly changing and totally losing what it is. To start with the service was NOT good at all, I think we were on the invisible table. We were the first Table to arrive and yet the last to receive any drinks or food, people who arrived minutes after us had a starter and main course before us. I wouldn’t have minded but we had ordered very simple meals and it was t in the least bit busy. Our drinks took over minutes to arrive and the lady behind the bar was quite rude when we went to find out how much longer we would wait.Half of the main meals eventually arrived over an hour later, with the other main meals taking a further minutes to arrive. The price of the food is VERY expensive for essentially a simple burger and a pot of fries. We were not the only table to discuss this. I think they have put the prices up in light of the government off a meal which to me is totally wrong. There is no way I would visit this PUB again for the over priced food. Had we been paying full price for the meal I would have honestly refused to pay the service was so bad And the value for money just is not there.We were not able to get reservations at any other local restaurant so was surprised when this was available. Now I know why! I appreciate that pubs are still finding their feet with the new restrictions but having just returned from a week away every single restaurant We visited put The White horse to shame. There was no real cleaning going on, we were expected to clean our own table with a roll of blue paper and a spray kept out side the toilets! Lovely! According the the rude blonde bar maid anyway To top it off I spent the rest of my night and morning very unwell being and being violently sick. Such a shame"

"my second order with this fabulous variety taste of chicken withdrawal in rugby: the 1st order a month ago was the 18 chicken wing plate in lemon kosnuss. wow, absolutely irresistible! amazing taste, arrived torts hot perfectly cooked. when I visited rugby again, my taste buds were again fluttering. yep placed my second order tonight, first the menu looked on only eating decidedly on the chicken wings again, but wanted to try their other aromen, there was only the choices on the app so I called them with my application of 28 chicken wings into you aromen (lemon kosnuss, mango limette, lemon crawler) split end result again fable order even more impressive is the fact that the wings came in three separate sealed packings with a label so that I could choose from each one. on the website there are some negative comments, but I must say from my own experience twice I can't do anything than 5× for service/quality/taste/delivery. can I come back? oh yes"

"This restaurant consistently gets orders wrong or delivers only half of the items. Today, my order did not come with chips and despite being promised that they would arrive in 20 minutes, it took 50 minutes. This is not the first time my orders have had issues, so I will no longer be ordering from this restaurant. There was no refund or goodwill gesture offered for their mistake. I do not recommend ordering from this branch."

"we found this little gem, as we were looking for somewhere what was dog friendly. from the outside it could be somewhere that they pass and miss - but they would be sure to regret it if they do it! the food was absolutely delicious. everything freshly cooked and arrived so quickly. our visit was on a Monday evening and the small restaurant was packed. despite only waitress and coworkers cook they were fantastic! recommend the burritos, halloumi fries and delicious margaritas! we're coming back!"
