We went to the one in Truro and they were super helpful and very vegan aware my partner got a meat burrito and they were very considerate in labelling the two and making sure that mine was on top in the bag in case of any spillage. "If you're looking for a decent British take on traditional Cali-Mex dining, this is as good a place to start as you'll find. We ordered nearly identical burrito in a bowl/box meals and it was definitely the right choice. The boxes were packed (see attached not so great pic) with delicious ingredients. We also ordered a selection of chips and dips, which were all good but none of the sauces were really meant for dipping but made great additions to the boxes. Highlights included the amount of food for the price, as mentioned the box was stuffed. The quality of the ingredients and taste were great. On the flip side, provision of sour cream was anemic and the grilled veggies could've been a bit more charred. Additionally, maybe I'm missing something but I've never had cucumbers included as a grilled veggie but they were a fine addition. The sauces could've been a bit more robust for the price (with chips), and a cheese or nacho sauce would've been a welcome inclusion or side. We'd happily order again."

"I telephoned during the day to ask if they were delivering.. they said no which I accepted. Half an hour later the manager phoned me and asked if I still wanted delivered food. I was starving so I was very pleased to have placed an order. The approx delivery time was an hour but he said he'd try to get there sooner. Hour later manager said the driver was just walking out of the door. I live less than 10mins drive away. 20mins later and driver is still on his way to me!! 1hr 40mins lata the driver is apparantly outside! 2hrs later and I had to finally cancel the order. Manager offered to give me the food for £10 which I stupidly accepted! Manager actually delivered the food himself!! Food was awful, brown lettuce, rock hard, cold stale chips and chicken burger, sauce on chicken (which was sizzling hot) was undercooked and only half of my order in bag!!! I AM NEVER EVER GOING THERE AGAIN! RUINED MY DAY AND APPERTITE."

"This is our second visit for bottomless brunch and again the service was great.We were a group of 25 so a lot to have to look after but the staff done an amazing job supplying us with a continuous supply of cocktails. The food was nice too.we sat up on the roof terrace which has it's own bar.Will definitely be recommending this bar to everyone!"

"We’re seated and served quickly. Drinks were lovely (Virgin Mojito and a Pina Colada). “Specials” was mentioned and we were told to use a QR code to access the menu. Another waitress came over about 10 minutes later and we asked for a reminder of...the specials. Totally different to what we were told the first time. We opted for a shared platter to start, followed by fajitas (me) and enchiladas (my partner). Steak was very tender, overall taste was very good. Didn’t have a dessert as we were too full. Check ups were frequent to make sure all was well. Overall ambience was nice. Felt intimate though it was packed. However. The bill… that was more than excessive. It worked out at £25 per head minus the drinks. £25 each for a starter and main. (Whole bill was £81, but the cocktails were £8 each plus a beer). It’s nice, but something I couldn’t afford regularly."

"simply the best! we visit pinche pinche whenever we are in leeds. we were presented a few years ago by a good friend this jewellery piece. the fact that the majority of their menu is gluten-free is amazing, it is a menu that. for all. carnivores, vegetarian and also vegan choices makes it perfect for our group. this is a family-run company and they can feel that by welcoming the warm welcome they offer to their customers. eating is simply beautiful, full of taste and when they learn that the owner has spent a lot of time in mexiko, they understand authentic Mexican foods. I can't judge this place high enough, just hurried that we don't live any closer, so we could visit more often. thanks to the entire team for another beautiful evening."

"I’m extremely saddened to write this review of the white horse. Its a place I use to love visiting, however it has been slowly changing and totally losing what it is. To start with the service was NOT good at all, I think we were on the invisible table. We were the first Table to arrive and yet the last to receive any drinks or food, people who arrived minutes after us had a starter and main course before us. I wouldn’t have minded but we had ordered very simple meals and it was t in the least bit busy. Our drinks took over minutes to arrive and the lady behind the bar was quite rude when we went to find out how much longer we would wait.Half of the main meals eventually arrived over an hour later, with the other main meals taking a further minutes to arrive. The price of the food is VERY expensive for essentially a simple burger and a pot of fries. We were not the only table to discuss this. I think they have put the prices up in light of the government off a meal which to me is totally wrong. There is no way I would visit this PUB again for the over priced food. Had we been paying full price for the meal I would have honestly refused to pay the service was so bad And the value for money just is not there.We were not able to get reservations at any other local restaurant so was surprised when this was available. Now I know why! I appreciate that pubs are still finding their feet with the new restrictions but having just returned from a week away every single restaurant We visited put The White horse to shame. There was no real cleaning going on, we were expected to clean our own table with a roll of blue paper and a spray kept out side the toilets! Lovely! According the the rude blonde bar maid anyway To top it off I spent the rest of my night and morning very unwell being and being violently sick. Such a shame"

"went into for a takeaway chickenerquesadilla and was charged 7.50, including a small pot of acid cream. what I got home was a cheeseless dry sluice, which should not be referred to as “Authentic, mexican or food for human consumption”. I was treated as if I interrupted the Insta-Sesh of this poor woman and with what could only be described as cat food packed in a flat brot that tasted nothing to give at all. I took the time to purify them to tell them, and they answered their business phone with just one hallo that seemed to interrupt the middle of an episode of girls and if she asked if I was dealing with the business that I wanted to ring, she talked with "yes yes." I explained that eating was terrible and that it tasted as if it had the same level of “not thinking that it was going to take care of.” I explained that I never tasted anything so lifeless and poor and she just reacted to it: “Thanks for your feedback.” again I would be angry if it was my business or if I happened to be mexican with any self-respect or proud of the kitchen that was born and cultivated in my wonderful country. I know it's london and it's stoke newington and that they shouldn't appear as if they give a hand over service, but it takes the cake. I would advise everyone to leave this place as empty as I have always seen it and not disturb it. it is absolutely a waste of time and money. worst £7.50 I took a long time. pick up a dose of Cat food and wrap it with exactly three jalapeños in a soggy tortilla and save the vapid and subduing hole of mediocrity it will leave in her life."

"My partner and I placed an order for 2 x paneer and rice and despite normally going to the whippendell road branch we picked up from the high street. NEVER AGAIN!!! Don’t waste your money!! When we got home, there was absolutely no peri peri marinade or sauce. Effectively we bought 2 boxes of dry rice and cheese. When we called to complain initially we were told that, that was how it was meant to be and has always been. We knew this not to be true because 1 how can you sell a peri peri product with no peri peri ridiculous! And 2 we have been Pepe customers for years. They then made out they couldn’t hear us and the line went dead, so awful customer service or should I say no customer service on top of no peri peri... that’s how much they care about their customers. They tell them they’re wrong and then put the phone down on them!!! We called back and shared our thoughts on their “resolution” We were eventually and very begrudgingly offered 50% off our order, not that we even up eating it!!! We will never be going back and advise you don’t go either. We will now be looking for a new peri peri shop so any recommendations welcome : Please see attached pictures...."

"Awful, delivery nearly 45mins late, turned up stone cold. Missing items. Sent the food back. Calling the restaurant for over an hour, busy tone, obviously the phone is off the hook. Ordered at 6.30pm it is now 9.10pm. Ridiculous, they obviously have not heard of communication. Disgusted. The Kingsbury branch is superb will never order from the Wembley branch again. Also does your driver know there's a pandemic, its supposed to be contactless delivery and stay 2m apart."

"I had written a review for our meal on the JustEat app. I described our dinner as it was. Extremely disappointing. The chicken does not taste grilled, it tastes likes it has been roasted and then reheated. The lettuce and vegetables in the side salad were so old and wet and limp it was inedible, and they forgot the sauce we paid for which after reading their reviews they leave things out of many meals. There are several complaints regarding this. The rice was just mediocre and tasteless. It could definitely be compared to microwaveable rice from the grocery store. The chips were decent though, but I’m sorry it takes more than that. It just is not good food. That’s the bottom line. But here is the kicker, and please read further. When I wrote this very similar review on their justeat page, they came back with “it was a collection order so make sure you are on time. My husband was there FIVE minutes early. Do not try to blame the customer for your subpar, really bad food!!! And you didn’t even offer to refund for the missing sauce. So not only is your food bad, you’re thieves. Please order from anywhere but here. I look forward to seeing their reply. It’s a shame we can’t answer back on here."
