"I recently visited Jolsha for the first time and ordered a takeaway for pick up at 6pm. I arrived early and asked if I could receive my food sooner, but was told that the time could not be changed. I ended up waiting in my car until the food was ready. Once I went inside the restaurant to wait, I noticed it wasn't very busy, with only a few families dining. At 6pm, I inquired about my takeaway and was informed that it was still being prepared. Another customer came in, picked up their order, and left before me. Finally, at 6:10pm, my food was ready and I was given a complimentary bottle of Coke for my wait. Unfortunately, the food was not up to par. The chicken tikka masala and onion bhaji tasted like something out of a grocery store, and the bread was just okay. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality of the food and doubt I will return to Jolsha in the future."

"I ordered takeout and found the prices to be considerably higher than those of other places, leading us to expect something exceptional. Unfortunately, the Khorma was very watery, the naan bread was undercooked, and the chicken was quite dry. The only decent part was the rice, but even that was nothing to write home about. We ultimately ended up throwing the meal away. I've seen similar feedback from others, suggesting that the restaurant isn’t addressing these issues. I won't be returning. Meal type: Dinner"

"On holiday in the region and tried an 'Indian ', The only option is the Bentham Balti. Placed an order, no issue. I collected the order from a very small establishment, and I wasn 't impressed by the general cleanliness. But hey, it 's take away. The food itself was quite disappointing. My Lamb Biryani had tough gristly meat and flavourless rice. The only thing with any taste was the additional veg curry dish. Salt was my best friend that night. The Peshwari Nan was tough, cool and dry. Disappointing!!! and it wasn 't that cheap either."

"This was the 3rd restaurant we attempted last evening. The kitchen in the first was closed for the week. We had tried to call, but no answer and a mail box that was full. Should have known! At the 2nd the chef decided to close down 35 minutes early, 10 minutes before we arrived. Luckily, we spotted Grand India! Ali and his staff were extremely personable and helpful. The food was delightfully presented and tasty. The locals who were present seemed just as happy. Highly recommended by Clarke and Debbie"

"I waited 35 minutes on top of the hour waiting time I was told for my takeout order. When I got home, I discovered that my main dish was missing and my two starters were cold! It's unfortunate to have to write this review because the food is typically good, but this isn't the first time I've had missing items in my order. Overall, the service was rated a 3, the food a 4, and the atmosphere a 5. The price per person was between £40-£50 for dinner."

"I wish i had read the reviews sooner. When we walked in we were shooed to a table in the middle of the room despite us calling up and asking for a corner table. I have problems eating in the middle of a room. The young member of staff had an attitude problem. We felt rushed and was asked twice before I even made up my mind if we were ready. Now I dont take long but when someone is rushing you its hard to make up your mind. I felt intimidated. When I made my choice he muttered something in a foreign language that I couldn't understand. The whole experience was distressing and I felt an inconvenience to be there. The food was bland and the curry was watery and hardly any meat never mind the price. This is no way to treat a customer that wanted the night to be a special night with their partner. Definitely won't be going back. Stay clear unless u want to eat in fear."

"Just finished my delivery to the nearby Holiday Inn Express. Was a little surprised to have a £2 delivery charge when my order was over £20 and according to Google Maps is less than 2 miles. My Shami kebab appetizer was just 'OK '. Taste was great, but texture was much to firm. It should have been a much more delicate texture, not chewy ! But, those two items are the only complaints. Delivery was VERY quick, the delivery person was very efficient calling me ahead of arriving, the food (other than the Shami Kebab) was EXCELLENT ! If you like a spicy curry, with lots n lots of flavor, get the Naga Chicken. I 'm 56 and a curry aficionado, this was one of the best spicy curries I have EVER had and the chicken was tender and tasty. Next time I have an overnight at LHR I 'll have no hesitation to order from here again. Heck, if I arrive at LHR in the evening, and have a car, I 'll drive over to dine in."

"My wife and I had a last-minute meal at this restaurant. We arrived early, which was a good idea because it was very busy. It was clear that this is a popular local spot with many loyal customers, some of whom I recognized. We had a quick meal - I ordered a chicken dopiaza and my wife had a chicken korma. We also had keema naan, chapati, fries, and garlic rice. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. For the price, speed, and quality of food, I would rate it 5 out of 5. I plan to return in the near future."

"The staff is wonderful and the service is excellent. Deliveries are quick, and the food arrives hot and well-packaged. The quality of the meat is consistently good. My only minor issue is that many of the curries tend to be quite sweet—perhaps a bit too sweet for my liking. It seems like they might be trying to cater to Western palates, but I prefer something more authentically Indian without having to travel. Other than that, it’s a fantastic restaurant and very clean. "we booked a table for 5 of us. we had eaten here many years ago, so decided to come back. we all ordered a meal that was very tasty. but. they expect a long waiting period. there's no filthy. we didn't get our main thing until...9:15 and waited for them for 45 minutes. then we were told that we hurry from the waitress when they close at 10 o'clock. that leads me to my next discussion. I had asked about 9 o'clock where the meal was. we felt as if we felt inconvenient, and then we became more frightened with a attitude. a man was not impressed and gave us no professionalism at all. I would also like to say that the restaurant is nothing but to think that they are at a funeral. the drinks are very limited and so is the menu. which Indian bangladeshi restaurant has no fried rice. I would also say that music would be useful in the background. oh jah and serviettes instead of kitchen towels would be helpful. I would invest in the waiter's staff and show them what is the right service, as they could not have been there. we will not return and if they want a soul willing atmosphere and wait old for her to eat, they were not busy on the way then go on. Listen to you."
