"The service was attentive yet not intrusive, and we never felt rushed to leave to make room for the next reservation. We began with the pickle tray, which was delightful, especially that striking deep red sauce—everyone loved it! The starters were excellent, and I always gauge a restaurant by its seekh kebab. It was lovely and did not disappoint. The main courses were fantastic—flavorful and just the right portion size for my appetite. My top recommendation? The garlic chili chicken—it's a must-try! They don’t have an alcohol license, but you can bring your own, and their selection of non-alcoholic beverages is reasonably priced. The absence of a full bar certainly did not detract from the experience. Overall, I’d give Shimla a 9/10. We’ll definitely be back!"

This was my first visit here after enjoying many delicious takeouts. The food was amazing as always the onion Bhaji's are the best I have ever had. For main I had Chicken rogan josh again beautifully presented tasted wonderful. Here you take your own alcohol as they don't have a drinks licence. I ordered takeout and found the prices to be considerably higher than those of other places, leading us to expect something exceptional. Unfortunately, the Khorma was very watery, the naan bread was undercooked, and the chicken was quite dry. The only decent part was the rice, but even that was nothing to write home about.
