"It was my nieces 50th birthday. I booked Afternoon tea at Sarah-Jane's as a special treat for us both It was amazing the food was delicious everything was so well presented, there was so much food on our stands we couldn't eat it all so we both brought a box of cakes home. Staff are all lovely make you feel very welcome. I have also met up with lots of friends at Sarah-janes for their lovely coffee a chat. I Definitely recommend it Service: Dine in"

"Such a great find this place, set back off a main road in an idyllic spot in the countryside, it has a real homely rustic feel. The coffee is really good and far better than Starbucks and Costa for me and definitely cheaper . Besides the coffee we sampled the fresh soup and crusty bread which were delicious. Next time I’m going to try their home baked scones which look yummy. Everything looks fresh! I got real food envy as the person sat on the table opposite had an amazing hot chocolate which was a creation in itself! Would definitely recommend a visit, even just for a relaxing coffee!"

"Dreambakes staff are very welcoming and was nice to see a that most menu options had a vegan alternative. I had a oat milk flat white, was great to see they use local speciality coffee such as Darkwoods from Huddersfield and they showed knowledge in making the coffee. Lovely latte art to. For my meal I had a spicy cheese toastie on sourdough. The alternative to make this vegan was to swap out the usual cheese they use to a smokey one. Arrived very well present with extras such as salad leaf, slaw and crisps. I did feel they cheese in the toastie was a little on the spare side and it didn't really melt, could definitely taste the smoke through the cheese which I loved. I don't know why but unless the venue is full vegan I don't always trust items such as pasta as it came on my children's plates to who had ham sandwiches. Overall I was pleased. I also say they did a few vegan cakes such as a banoffee shortcake and choco concrete. Also nice to see they sell the coffee beans to and have guest coffees. It's great to see more vegan friendly places in Doncaster"

"I was fortunate enough to enjoy another fantastic meal at The Gourmet Dining Room last night. The experience was flawless from beginning to end. The standout dish for me was the amuse bouche, a cheese and onion tart. I absolutely loved it - the pastry was buttery and crumbly, and it was bursting with cheesy flavor. The meal started with warm bread and butter, followed by the cheese and onion tart, a tomato salad with tomato gel and Caesar dressing, halibut with a delicious tuile, tender beef with smoked cauliflower puree, a tropical fruit palate cleanser, and a trio of chocolate. I was so impressed by the food that I forgot to take a photo before digging in! As a bonus, they also give you a little gift to take home, which I believe was a flapjack. The atmosphere was delightful and lively, and the service was excellent. You can bring your own drinks, but glassware is provided. Thank you, Michael and Toni, for a wonderful dining experience!"

"I came here with a large party and it started off really well the staff were friendly. I noticed straight away with us being a large party we were seated in the corner of the room and it felt really cramped. I let this go because the staff were nice. We were told we could either order as a group or go to bar each to get out drinks which was fair enough after an hour the food came and I understand the longer wait because like I said we were a large party. Now the food was lovely nicely cooked the only downside is the food had a little kick and I ordered the calzone which came with bolognese on the top of it, which was a terrible idea by the chef putting it on top of the calzone it just made the whole calzone soggy. The main reason I gave this place 3 stars is the hidden 10% tip on your bill if customers did not know this you don't have to pay it, you can ask them to take it off, it really disappointing that they hide this fee instead of asking for it like most places if they had asked we would have paid it!!"

"This place is crazy! The Italian Gelato is to die full of flavor and texture, the raspberry and lemon were amazing. My wife loved the foolish smoothie and the kids loved the ice cream. "We visited here for lunch, and had the all you can eat menu for There’s a great choice of dishes, more than any tapas restaurant I’ve been to before. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was quick. The food was...amazing, we didn’t go crazy and had dishes between the two of us, which was just enough for lunch. You can have more if you want it, but for lunch that was enough for us. It was fairly quiet, which is understandable for a Wednesday at They really deserve to have more people in with such a good menu and bargain price."

"Tukuaz has been fully renovated since my last visit and now feels fresh and modern. We sat by the large bi-folding windows on a warm evening watching the comings and going of Doncaster! The food is still fantastic and the meal deals really good value. Its a good idea to try as many of the starters as you can to get a real taste of Turkish food. Service was very efficient and friendly but if I had one small criticism, it was that we felt a bit rushed. I don't like having main course served whilst I'm still chewing my starter, and I think from sitting down to paying the bill was under an hour. As I said, a minor criticism and next time we will ask for a pause between courses. Otherwise a very enjoyable restaurant."

Not only were we not disappointed, we were blown away just how good this hidden away gem of a restaurant is We experienced excellent, caring friendly service from entry to leaving. The food is brilliant with a huge range great menu layout to suit many tastes diets. It was also great to see a game section of venison, wild boar a large array of fish dishes. Great drinks selection recommendations from the waiter, who gives a great personal service spends time with customers even when the restaurant in busy. "From the outside it looks like a welcoming establishment. However, once i went in I instantly realised the opposite. Walked in with my wife and 2 young children and asked if they were still serving food. Their response was “we are fully booked” but as I looked around the place was completely empty and had so many tables available. And this was 4pm on a Saturday. So without questioning I walked out and started to question whether they were actually fully booked or denied us a table because of the colour of our skin."

"Was there with my gf for a short day trip to Doncaster. Everything about this place was fab. We ordered (cold plate) tuna tartar, (hot plates) mussels and scallops. We also open a bottle of white wine to go with the seafood. The seafood was all fresh and properly seasoned. We were amazed immediately after the first plate (tuna tartar) was served. But the most impressive dish to us was the mussels. Unlike the other two dishes, the mussels really lacked plating. but the mussels matched really well with the creamy sauce and the crusty bread. We at the end even soaked all the crusty bread to the really delicious sauce. It was an open kitchen setting and we got to watch how the two chefs cooked the food while we were eating. An overall very pleasant experience. We spent no more than £60 for three exceptional dishes with a bottle of wine!! It was worth travelling all the way from London to try it out. This time when we went here we were told that they were out of oysters on bank holidays. That was a shame but we will be back for the oysters!!! "We visited the White Hart a couple of years ago and found it to be quite average. However, on our recent visit, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that it is far from average - it is actually very good. As soon as we walked in, we could tell that there was a completely different atmosphere compared to our last visit, with a lively buzz in the dining room. Our party of four each ordered a different main course and no one had any complaints. I opted for the special, which was quiche served with chips and salad, and was very satisfied. My friend enjoyed the liver and bacon dish, commenting on both the flavor and presentation. The steak pie was also a hit with our group. We are looking forward to returning to the White Hart in the future."

"Arrived at the restaurant to be told your on that table, so we sat ourselves down waited fir a while., so called some one over to order a drink when drinks arrived some drinks where missing. After 30 minutes someone came to take our order, order arrived 30 minutes later and was only warm my wife's and daughters where cold After a further 15 minutes someone came and asked how the meal where told him they where cold, he replied there's nothing I can do and walked away."

"The service was attentive yet not intrusive, and we never felt rushed to leave to make room for the next reservation. We began with the pickle tray, which was delightful, especially that striking deep red sauce—everyone loved it! The starters were excellent, and I always gauge a restaurant by its seekh kebab. It was lovely and did not disappoint. The main courses were fantastic—flavorful and just the right portion size for my appetite. My top recommendation? The garlic chili chicken—it's a must-try! They don’t have an alcohol license, but you can bring your own, and their selection of non-alcoholic beverages is reasonably priced. The absence of a full bar certainly did not detract from the experience. Overall, I’d give Shimla a 9/10. We’ll definitely be back!"
