"Awful experience. Booked a table for 6pm and was ignored for 10 minutes by staff members who didn’t know how to access the bookings info. After 20 mins finally we were given a table and told to order at the bar. Ordered a jug of sangria and was charged £2 service charge?? Then by 645pm we were still waiting for our drink only to go to the bar to be laughed at and told they forgot to bring it! Took it back to the table and realised the porcelain jug was cracked and chipping into the drink… we weren’t offered an alternative eventually we left at 7pm after demanding a refund spent an hour there and had zero service, no drink, and the owner is more concerned with parading around taking selfies. Absolute joke of a place much like Boujee a few doors down!"

"We ordered through Uber Eats. One burger came with cheese, when we explicitly asked for just a burger in a bun. We also asked for chicken with no sauce, but it was slathered in what was supposed to be sweet and sour, but was more like sweet chilli. Two portions of Mexican corn were missing. When I called the restaurant, they could not have cared less, referring me to Uber Eats. They said that they had called about the missing corn. We had no call, either on mobile or landline. When I asked if they were going to put their errors right, no was the resounding answer. I wish I 'd read the reviews on Tripadvisor before ordering a birthday meal from them. The three (of five) meals they did get right were adequate, rather than good or excellent."

"This cafe is a small gem serving delicious and authentic food and drinks at very competitive prices, even compared to popular chain cafes like Greggs, Pret A Manger, and Cafe Nero nearby. It's no wonder locals consistently choose Ned's Cafe as their favorite spot. The friendly staff provide excellent service with a smile and accept card payments for convenience. This is not your typical place for overpriced fancy sandwiches, but a spot where you can enjoy a delicious bacon, sausage, and egg sandwich with a perfectly runny yolk."

"I have stopped eating here, its the only downside of an excellent hotel, for instance the breakfast is £11-£15 depending on how you stay and for a orange juice cup of tea and couple of slices of toast its too much, there is no healthy or non cooked option. The evening meals are slow and unfulfilling no wonder whenever I stay which is at least twice a month the restaurant is empty, I had two meal both were poor and I felt hungry afterwards, one included chips, I counted them six and the meal came to £38 for just myself, on the other occasion I had lamb, the two pieces served for £18 approx. were tiny and no flavour, it was supposed to be rump, I think it was a chop trimmed down, it took nearly an hour to serve and I could count on my hand how many people were dining, if you have a restaurant in your hotel you need to capture the clientele not allow them to go elsewhere. This is mine and my colleagues preferred hotel to stay at, we now eat out every time we stay."

"What a night!!. Having never been out on a night in Harrogate my friends and I went on a recommendation to Banyan on John Street. We had some fantastic burgers and some amazing cocktails. The music and atmosphere was unbelievable and the place became packed within half an hour! Everyone was dancing and singing along to some quality tunes! The only disappointment was it was only open till midnight! Definitely be returning when we go back to Harrogate!"

"I had a fantastic time enjoying a beer at the pop-up festival. There was a wide variety of beers available and the unique outdoor atmosphere was a welcomed change from my last visit here 2 years ago. I hope that the outdoor bar and loudspeakers are maintained throughout the summer, as they really enhance the outdoor experience at Capelle Allerton. Cheers to a great improvement!"
