"The food tasted like cardboard and oil so saying this was terrible would be putting it nicely! When it comes to the staff/service I don't even know where to begin. After we received our food we sat down and started eating it, like anyone would do...We were then very abruptly/bluntly told to leave as they were closing. The men working there were very inpatient and came right up to us trying to shoo us out of the shop. After we asked for a few minutes to finish eating our food we were told to p off by the staff. Ok my sister threw a few chips on the floor and just before we left made a bit of a mess with her food but in my opinion that's the least they deserved! The staff at Chicken Stop need to realise they're doing no good in this job and need to reconsider working in a customer service role."

"Went to have dinner and was turned away by some big guy on the door who said no entry started saying about only food. Think he had eaten most of it. Anyways ended up with our group in the Bliss restaurant on Willesden Lane. Join us here guys. "I made a reservation at the Barbican before a concert, which is conveniently close. Unfortunately, our booking coincided with a large party of 51 people that arrived before us, causing our food to take 25 minutes to arrive after we placed our order. While I have no complaints about the fish and chips—they were excellent—the delay took away some of the charm of our visit."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Food was decent as usual) but the service left a lot to be desired. The wrong food was brought out on one occasion and then added to the bill even though no one had ordered it). One item was unavailable which meant two of our party had to reorder. Another item a very simple one) the trilogy was brought out after everyone else had been served. We then had to send the bill back three times as it was incorrect. Our waiters/waitresses were all very apologetic but it was overall a poor dining experience that spoilt a welcome lunch for a new member of our team. We have visited The Life Goddess a number of times for team lunches and never a had problem previously. Sadly, I don 't think we 'll be coming back in a hurry which is a real shame :"

"I waited for over 3 and a half hours for my pizza delivery from Farm Pizza, only to receive a burnt pizza with minimal toppings and a rock-hard base. The heat from the pizza caused the sauces to burst inside the box. The cheesy chips were disappointing as well, resembling a hardened disc of cheese with a few chips stuck in it. The delivery driver seemed lost and I had to go out and guide him to the correct location. Although I was given some freebies and the staff were apologetic, the overall service and food quality were terrible. Honestly, a frozen pizza would have been tastier and of better quality. I could have flown to Italy in less time than it took to get my order from Farm Pizza. Don't be deceived by the offers, it's not worth it – stay away from this place."

"I booked this restaurant on a friend's recommendation I must say I was not disappointed. No wonder it’s got outstanding reviews. It’s a cosy little restaurant in Exmouth Market. The owner chef Anilo is so very pleasant. He came out to welcome us at our table, which was quite nice. They serve Turkish cuisine and also the meat is Halal, which was perfect for my Muslim friend. Their signature dish, KISIR, was out of this world. It reminded me of my visit to Turkey. Authentic Turkish taste and friendly hospitality. Excellent customer service. I also loved their Turkish coffee. I am definitely going back and very highly recommend it."

"The manager claimed that the restaurant is under new management and no longer is on the fork showed him my booking to which he said no he couldnt honour it . The 30% discount I was there so stayed anyway Service was mayhem and very very slow and wrong dishes going everywhere some diners got there dishes but had issues a Caesar salad that had no chicken in it My partner got given the wrong fish dish and the manager tirelessly tried to convince us somehow it was what the menu said although it looked completely different from the other diner who previously was eating what my partner ordered She ate the fish dish which was actually the fish of the day Sea Bream I spoke to a lovely chap called Sam who I saw was serving the original dish my partner was after Sea Bass ???????? who then after a little bit of a convo got us the correct dish my partner was obviously full by then so we got it take away I thought this Sam knows his job whereas the owner hasnt a clue what the menu dishes are or look like or what deals his establishment is offering like The Fork offer of 30% Sam the MAN however corrected all my issues supplying the correct dish eventually removing the service charge and applying the 30% discount and all in a very polite courteous professional manner What a diamond of a bloke Employee of the year and well overdue a pay rise and promotion. The GLUE of the Monarch The clientele could do with sorting out as there were quite a few undesirables just coming in sitting down Hoods up and face masks youths Just there presence ruined the atmosphere if you were a family diner or out with your partner like I was This place is not for the faint hearted My partners stomach was giving her trouble very shortly after her meal of Sea Bream and I had tasted it and I said to her in my opinion I think it was undercooked translucent parts were present another 4/5 minutes on the grill was needed BEWARE !! I defo wouldnt return there sober Id only go back there with a bunch of leery blokes at the end of drink fuelled night if nowhere else was open and Id only get the fish and chips Second thoughts I wouldnt bother at all better to go hungry and cross over the road from this place Starters were mean and small Mains was less than mediocre if you got what you ordered eventually. Didnt dare ask for dessert -had enough by then plus the local riff raff were taking refuge in the outside seating area but not purchasing anything just loitering or linking other riffraff A no go again zone SAM leave and youll find a good job in a Michelin starred establishment as you have the qualities You wasting your life away there jump ship immediately From a very very very very disappointed never to be seen there again diner victim of very bad service and generally **** food ."
