"We went to Wagamama Salisbury for lunch, having been quite a few times before but not for several months. I’m not sure what might have changed but it was a real disappointment. On the plus side, the service was reasonable and both the tata squid and hoisin duck buns were tasty and quick to the table. However, the tantoman beef ramen and grilled chicken ramen were both very bland with broth that I can only describe as tasting like school dinner gravy. Both were left less than half finished. Equally, the chicken and prawn pad Thai was quite greasy and again, bland with no spice heat at all. The dish was saved through the addition of lashings of soy sauce and chilli flakes at the table, but that shouldn’t have had to have been the case. Despite seeing the ramen bowls hardly touched, our server didn’t ask if all was okay, they simply cleared the table and reminded me that I could pay via an app. All of this coming in at a whisker shy of £70 as well, (yes £70 for three noodle dishes and some squid balls) left a very bitter taste in my mouth, pun intended. I won’t be back."

"Florin deserves Employee of The Year and Amazing Food! I am a massive Wagamama fan/eater I have Wagamama about once or twice a week! And have been for years. So I thought i'd try the one at East Croydon... and I always get Katsu curry but Florin convinced me to try the new healthier katsu chicken, and even offered to replace it with the normal one if i don't like it! He was so friendly and was passionate about the restaurant. I tried it and obviously loved it found my new favorite dish! : Thank you Florin for being so great and making the experience wonderful and also giving me the option to try it, and now i will be ordering it all the time."

"We arrived with more than 2 hours to spare before our show and were told they needed the table back in an hour which was not a problem. We ordered and there was an hour between courses, despite us having to remind them we still hadn't got our food. Then when it came it was wrong but since all the serving staff disappeared, we had no option but to eat since we were going to be late for our show by this time. Staff were too busy talking among themselves and ignoring our attempts to catch their attention. It was not a cheap meal and I was more than disappointed with everything about the restaurant."

"The service here is absolutely terrible. I came to eat here with my family and have a gluten allergy. I asked my server twice to speak to the manager since she's can't take my order. The manager never came to my table. Yet, she would look at me and talk to the server and continue on her way. I eventually had to walk over to the manager who was completely rude to me when I asked to speak with her. She couldn't figure out how to put my order in until she went and then offered me a gluten free menu. Just to order the exact same meal. Don't ever go here. My food then took well over 15 minutes AFTER my entire family had finished their food."

"We had a Japanese friend staying with us who had not had a Japanese meal in England before. We decided to try this Japanese restaurant as a takeaway and ordered several dishes. Our friend rated the meal overall as a 6 out of 10. I...would agree with her. The dishes were cooked to the Western palate and had a little too much sugar added making the fried udon, teriyaki chicken and fried aubergine all too sweet for the Asian palate. However, we will still visit the restaurant in future. We will make a point to request the chef to reduce the amount of sugar and salt."

"Incredible disappointed as have been to other Benihana’s and had a fantastic experience. We arrived early and weren’t allowed to sit down which was fine as we sat at the hotel bar. When we went back to be seated we were only told then they were short of chefs so no one would be cooking in-front of us... isn’t that why you go there?! There was quite a language barrier between us and the waitress but we soon found out they had NO sushi or sashimi!!! Had they had the courtesy to be honest and tell us beforehand we could’ve booked a different venue instead of wasting our evening which we were meant to be celebrating my boyfriends birthday. We left with no apology and will not be revisiting."

"Great vegan options, lots of them and clearly labelled section. They do meat and fish options too so it is great to go with non vegan family, my partner is a meat eater so this was ideal for us! I had the chefs selection of sushi and the Winchester sushi, both very tasty. The Winchester one is so spicy with the fresh wasabi. I also had vegetable gozas and the aubergine dish, which were so so good. The gozas put Wagamama to shame, so much better. The aubergine dish was delicious and so soft and sweet. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is very classy and clean."

"“I understand your policy of only allowing guide dogs inside your restaurants but what about your branches that have outdoor terraces? We have a little dog that fits in a handbag and all outdoor dinning that we have ever attended have never complained about us bringing our dog with us, until last night after a very enjoyable and perhaps the last meal at Wagamama! I really feel that Wagamama management seriously need to look into their current dog policy because for a dog loving country like the UK your current position of only guide dogs in your restaurants is one thing but not allowing dogs in your OUTSIDE dining areas is absolutely ridiculous, very extreme and in mine and many peoples opinion totally unnecessary. Kind regards, Roger”"

"This was once my favorite sushi restaurant in Glasgow, where I reside. However, it appears that another restaurant called Meets Noodles has taken over this establishment and kept the old name in an attempt to maintain previous customers. Unfortunately, none of the new staff members speak English, which has led to multiple issues with incorrect orders and lack of communication. I have called the restaurant and after numerous attempts to communicate in English, they have hung up on me. The same situation occurred when a delivery service called Caitlins tried to clarify an order. This change in service due to non-English speaking staff has been frustrating for me and has deterred me from ordering from them. It seems that the restaurant may no longer specialize in sushi. I would advise caution when ordering from here, as the lack of English communication has impacted the overall experience. Sadly, I will no longer consider this restaurant as a sushi option in Glasgow, but they may still offer delicious noodles."

"since the vegan wagamama has become one of my favorite chain restaurants. they have a huge separate vegan menu that offers so many interesting different options and they constantly add new things to the menu! the personal is always so courteous and friendly! I tried the vegan rugs that was one of the best vegan rarms dishes I had! it was so spicy and the amount of hits in the plate were amazing! I also tried the vegan squid (mushrooms) that were so delicious and I never had anything like it since vegan and they were 10/10! one of my favorite dishes here are the vegan Bao beans that were light and fluffy with super delicious filling and great texture! the only thing I've tried so far that I didn't like is the vegan gyozas that tasted so dry and grassy; I wouldn't order her again. overall I love wagamama as a vegan and it will always be my favorite vegan chain restaurant!"

"Japanese is not your only option should you visit Hana; they also offer a good selection of Korean food as well. I had beef Bi Bim Bap for dinner last night and it was delicious. This selection of meat, vegetables, rice and a raw egg is bought to the table in a piping hot stone pot. The rice is at the bottom separated from the stone by a small layer of sesame oil so, after allowing the dish to sizzle a little to crispen the rice, you add the accompanying hot sauce and mix so that the egg cooks through. I loved it."

"This restaurant offers excellent value, especially with the two for one deal and discounted drinks. The service was fantastic, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect for our theater plans. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future."

"The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and came in generous portions. The manager personally took my order and the head chef prepared my meal. They had a separate gluten-free menu and were very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions."

"Was first time eating at a wagamama felt very uncomfortable where we were seated but they was very busy so wasn't any other option although about five minutes in after we arrived a better table became available. We asked our waiter if we could move our location and he made some excuse as to why we couldn't sit there but said he'd check for us. We then waiting another ten minutes waiting to see if we could have that table or not as was still free but he never came back to us and it was then too late to move. So uncomfortable was sat near the main entrance which when the doors kept opening it let a lot of wind in which wasn't very pleasant when eating. Food was very boring as well no flavour whatsoever would not come again.."

"my experience was okay. the staff was very friendly and the service was nice and fast. the restaurant itself is very beautiful, clean and only a great atmosphere. I ordered the chicken katsu for my head and the banana catsu for my dessert and both were very nice. the huh katsu was a good part, I couldn't finish it, but I thought it was worth his money that's always good. to dessert was the banana catsu on the curse. it is a banana coated with brothcrumbs served hot with a screedy ice. I recommend it if they ever visit as I would get it again and again, I might try another main course and the same dessert but because of me not...read more"

"My favourite restaurant ever! The best ramen and Asian food! I have been to this exact restaurant 3 times now within the past year. We always get in straight away, the prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. Food comes out quite fast. With the Eat Out To Help Out we paid £23 for two drinks, 3 starters and 2 mains which was a great discount! We did have to wait 50 minutes to get in last Monday, which was the same time we were inside for, but it was worth waiting for and it's understandable due to the discount. The peach iced tea is the best, the katsu curry is a great classic and the ramens are my favourite! Edamame is a go to favourite, the squid starter is so nice and creamy, the bang bang cauliflower seems really popular I think it's nice but quite simple and the crispy prawns are nice as well!"

"We went to this restaurant after they underwent a major renovation, and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice night out in a quiet yet bustling restaurant. However, when compared to many other Japanese restaurants I have visited in central London, the prices here are quite high. I typically pay less for similar dishes at authentic Japanese restaurants in more centrally located areas. The sushi quality is excellent, with thick and fresh cuts, beautiful presentation, and a good variety on the menu despite the small kitchen. However, I was disappointed in the portion size of my favorite dish, the grilled eel on rice, as the eel was much smaller than usual for the high price of £18. I believe that the decrease in eel prices over the years should have been reflected in the portion size. For this reason, I rated this restaurant 2 out of 5 stars for value. If you are searching for fantastic sushi in Kentish Town, this is the only option available, so I recommend it to local Japanese food enthusiasts."

"Overall, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I had been here before and loved the food, but this time was a mixed bag. The portion sizes for the Thai curries were small for the price of £13.50, and rice was an additional cost. My prawn Thai curry only had 2 pieces of courgette and butternut squash in it. On the positive side, the service was quick and efficient, and the food was tasty. I particularly enjoyed the peppered chicken and vegetables, as well as the Prawn and Chive Dim Sum. Plus, Thursday cocktails were only £4 each, and I highly recommend the Bali Mai Tai!"

"The good points were even though there was a queue to get in, and it looked quite long (about 15 people), it moved quickly and we were in in under 10 mins. The food came very quickly and was delicious. The bad points though (hence the 3 stars) were that the drinks came nearly 10 minutes after our last dish arrived, and we had to ask for them. We also asked for water and had to ask 3 times for that. It's disappointing as the food was so quick and delicious."

"Shimogano opened in 2013 in a parade of shops on Camden Parkway. It is named after an ancient Kyoto Shinto shrine that is a UNESCO world heritage site. The restaurant has a small dining area and bar at ground level, the main dining room being in the basement. The décor is fairly basic, and the restaurant serves a wide variety of Japanese cuisine styles, from sushi to tempura to noodles and beyond. This slightly scattergun approach is normal in London but unusual in Japan, where most restaurants specialise, sometimes to an extreme degree e.g. some restaurants serve only eel, or only tonkatsu. It must be difficult for any restaurant to really master such a wide menu. See more at:...read more"
