"After recently returning from Greece, where I had my first chicken gyros, I was thrilled when my daughter introduced me to this hidden gem. I honestly didn’t expect it to be as delicious as the one I tried in Greece, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was incredible—packed with flavor and generous portions—truly exceeding my expectations. The atmosphere in the shop, created by Ricky, was delightful, and I felt very welcomed. After having gyros at Greek Street, I can no longer enjoy an ordinary kebab. When I visit my daughter in Cheshunt, we often order takeout, and since I’ve yet to find a place that comes close to this, it has become our go-to spot. Thank you, Ricky, for the amazing food, for restoring my faith in fantastic takeaways, and for your excellent service. I can’t wait for my next visit!"

"Love the dark hot chocolate here, so rich. Ordering that every time we visit. Had lunches here before, mussels were amazing Ordered poached eggs with Haggis on muffin, and a full breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed them! Along with the dark hot chocolate, that was £24, not bad at all considering how much it costs to run a business these days. Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast available, and instead of meat topping options for omelette/poached eggs, there is spinach available. Parking: Free Street parking with disc, one hour free on Kempock Street, 3 hours on street at the back. If it's really busy there's also the paid public car park by the Clyde operated by the local council Kid-friendliness: High chair available Wheelchair accessibility: No step at door, accessible toilet available. Not sure if the restaurant above is the same though"

"I stayed overnight in one of the many hotels near Wembley Stadium whilst taking my kids to the Troubadour. Looking on google the following morning I came across Opa! as being nearby and independent for breakfast- fantastic. I've never been to a Greek bakery before and was really impressed by the amazing selection of pastries, cakes etc on offer. The lady behind the counter was helpful, polite and friendly, proudly telling me the pastries would be sold out by lunchtime. I had a great pretzel style pastry, filled with feta cheese. And also a couple of small sweet desert things. All superb. My kids loved it as well. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I ordered three pork gyros for myself and my two children—one without salad for my eldest son—along with some halloumi fries and a burger for my wife. We were informed that our order would take 80 minutes, which was already frustrating, but we ended up waiting nearly two and a half hours for our food. Once it arrived, I realized we had been cheated. A gyros is meant to be a delicious combination of meats, fries, vegetables, and a generous helping of fresh tzatziki, all wrapped in a crispy pita, as advertised. Instead, what we received was a greasy, soggy container filled with pork and fries, accompanied by what could only be described as an insultingly small and inadequate pita—it looked more like a muffin roll and tasted equally dismal. Although I had ordered one gyros without salad, all three came without any salad. This left both my wife and me to eat gyros with a significant portion of the ingredients missing. While the pork itself was decent, it was hard to appreciate amongst the greasy fries and the tiny serving of tzatziki. Given the high prices and long wait time, we couldn’t help but feel utterly let down. This isn’t just a subpar representation of Greek food; it’s a complete misfire. I’m extremely disappointed and will never order from here again."

"Been meaning to try this place for a little while. On a Wednesday evening (from 5:30pm onwards) it is Chicken Gyros takeaway and it is proving very popular, I was almost queueing out of the door. There is a Haloumi Gyros option or mixed and also a Greek Salad plus cake. Also if you purchase drinks you can eat in the the very pleasant rear garden. The Chicken Gyros is very tasty and a meal in itself, I haven't tried the Haloumi option but if the chicken is anything to go by I imagine it will be just as good and essentially just the same as a Greek Gyros. Quite a healthy option for just £5"

"Ordered a takeaway from Just Eat showing delivery at 7.20 which was 45 mins. then went to 7.50. Order showing as still being prepared at 8.10 and status update says no drivers available. Cancelled order and then received call from restaurant saying Just Eat were really bad, they had no drivers and they could cook the order really quickly if we wanted now and we could order with deliveroo. If you know you have a problem with Just Eat then why keep using them and accepting peoples orders because that's your choice to keep doing that and putting yourself in a position where you let people down. Thats a poor excuse. It's nearly 2 hours after placing the order and no food has arrived so have had to arrange an alternative."

"Ordered some delicous food from Regano Pizzeria Grill at the weekend We ordered just after they opened at 16:11 and it arrived at 16:59 which is speedy to say they only opened at 16:00 and have to heat the ovens up etc. We ordered the: Meat Feast Pizza £10.50 Regano Special Burger £10.90 I highly recommend both (as well as the chicken souvlaki box we had previously). This is now our go to takeaway for burgers etc in Scarborough, UK. (Is definitely a treat though for just over £24 with delivery and service charge for only 2 items)."

"While this restaurant may not win any awards for its interior design, don’t let that discourage you. Some of the best meals I’ve had have come from places that prioritize their food over their décor, and that’s exactly the case here. The dishes were absolutely delicious and clearly made from scratch. The flatbreads were so delightful that we couldn’t resist ordering extra to take home. I do have to note, however, that the baklava was served cold; it would have been perfect if it had been warmed up. I encourage you not to judge this restaurant by its appearance. "After moving to Ashford, I was on the hunt for a new fish and chip shop. After trying a few, I stumbled upon Marino's in Kennington while driving through one day. I ordered the large cod and chips, which was delicious, although I couldn't finish it all. The next Thursday, I tried the sausages and chips, which were also freshly cooked to order like the fish. However, I ultimately decided that the cod was the best choice for me. I now make it a habit to stop by Marino's after work on Thursdays for their standard cod and chips, as I find it to be the perfect meal for me. I'm grateful that I discovered Marino's and enjoy that all their food is freshly cooked to order."

"The customer service here is outstanding—very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to dine. You get excellent value for your money, and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend the dolmades appetizer, and the gyro lamb platter and stuffed cabbage are both excellent choices. "First time having a takeaway from Usta Grill. Overall not bad but points that could be improved on. Ordered on just eat and their page was pretty simple and self explanatory. Food arrived 25 mins early which is obviously a massive bonus.... Unless you're busy...and they catch you by surprise but hay all fun and game ay. Delivery person was extremely polite and nice instead of the usual shoving food in you face and walking off as some other places local to here. Food itself was served in typical takeaway plastic containers and which unfortunately leaked into the bag and made it soggy. The prawns in garlic tasted nice but unfortunately they were just cheap frozen prawns. The calamari was extremely good but presume just frozen rings. I had the chicken gyro with salad and chips....overall very nice taste but because of the containers enged up soggy which spoil the chips and made them into a mush. My partner had the lamb shish wrap which came as well as could be presented for a take away, not soggy and very tasty We was pleased with the taste of the food and would order again but like I said previously things could be improved"

"We fancied trying something different so decided to try the Gyros on South Parade Pier weren't disappointed. We both had the wraps which were a pitta base, either feta or tzatziki sauce then salad chicken or pork then turned into a cone type...wrap topped with a few chips sprinkled with herbs, absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back, really good value too at £4.90. Guys serving were really friendly too. Nice to have other options than fish chips for a change."

"Disappointed at my mixed grill delivery. I only live 4 streets away, yet when the food arrived, the fries were lukewarm and floppy, and the whole mixed grill was barely warm. The chicken skewers were dry and tasted burnt, and the gyros weren't even warm at all. I had to get it all into my air fryer to warm it up. Very disappointed as I have had this before and it was worlds away different. For £30 I definitely won't be ordering this again, and that, as a half Greek Cypriot myself, is disappointing."

"This restaurant used to be the best chicken shop when it was owned by the previous owner! We have been a few times since the new owner took over and the quality is not the same. The chicken was really dry with no flavor, just piri piri powder sprinkled on top and a sauce that we did not enjoy. It's disappointing because we used to travel all the way from Greenock to dine here, but now it's not as amazing as it used to be."

"Good food, family friendly and good service. Food was delicious and staff was very friendly despite being a bit distracted or fresh in the role (No complaints really). I'll eat here again if given the chance. Only thing I'll point out for the restaurant to improve is to do something about it being too cold, when the front door was open all night those in the first table will have to eat with the jackets on and still feel chilly not to mention the food will get cold quite fast. Good one guys Parking: At night is quite easy to find free parking in the street... Daytime, I don't know. Kid-friendliness: Normal greek food is perfectly fine for kids, don't go for it any nonsense like nuggets etc. Get them a plate and drop some fries halloumi and meats from the adult plates."
