"I liked the pub's quirky atmosphere, but on a cold winter day, it wasn't very cozy, and some of our group felt a bit uncomfortable. The Sunday lunch menu featured a meat option and a vegetarian alternative that were essentially the same dish, just with a meat substitute. The cooking style offers an Indian twist on traditional English fare; I thought the chicken breast was delicious, and the cake we had was also good. However, the side dishes—spicy potato wedges, seasonal greens, and Yorkshire pudding—were all served cold, which was quite disappointing. Given the limited menu and the fact that the pub was nearly empty when we arrived at 1:30 PM and didn’t really fill up until after we finished eating, this lack of attention to detail is quite unacceptable. We also tried a few different types of beer, but there seemed to be an issue with the taps as the beer was overly frothy for both of us. Overall, it's a nice pub, and I would consider returning on a warm day if I'm in the neighborhood, but not for a meal."
