Feng Sushi - Menu

We tried this place with friends and the sushi was good and fresh. The location was amazing (really central and on the Thames). It is not an all you can eat.

Although the food was decent, the restaurant itself was not pleasant. It felt rushed and anything but relaxing. We were in and out in just 35 minutes, which was not the leisurely pre-concert meal experience we had hoped for.

Had been planning 'sushi in London ' for a while. Came across this place by chance. Thought the menu looked good so popped in. Nice and small. Helpful staff. Lovely food. Have been a few times over the years. The food is good basic Japanese but the service is always on the slow side even when the small restaurant is not busy. Took ages this time to get the dessert and the coffee came first which is always unacceptable. To their credit, they gave us the dessert in a takeaway box at no cost, so that was a nice gesture

The sushi is good, as is the sashimi, others things are okay. I have been here a few times and the thing that lets it down is the poor service, they just don't seem to want to be there, and they know nothing about the food. The fish always tastes fresh and that is what makes this better than the other sushi places (yo etc). If you want to grab some food on the way to the theatre then its a good place for a pit-stop, but its not really suitable for dinner.

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the food is good, but the service was terrible. The waiter seemed annoyed when I tried to place an order and took a long time to come to my table. He appeared reluctant to leave the counter and was shocked when I asked for a bottle of wine to share. He spent the rest of the night on his phone, while a waitress was much more pleasant. Overall, the experience was disappointing as the waiter seemed surprised that we wanted to order food and drinks in a restaurant. I will not be returning. View menu

I ordered online from Feng Sushi and it was quite an adventure, but not in a good way. From start to finish, it was a complete mess. The bill was very expensive and I have never been so disappointed by sushi before. It seemed like they were low on rice, so they mixed it with wheat grains, which gave it a terrible taste. The miso soup was average at best and the tatakis were poorly cooked. I would recommend going to a competitor for better quality salmon. Also, make sure to provide fresh ingredients in the box, as we didn't even touch the sashimi. Overall, it was a very negative experience and I won't be treating myself to sushi from there again.

Went to this place for dinner before an event, the restaurant had two staff members and they are both rather unpleasant to deal with. The blonde lady was rather rude and the guy had no charm, had to wait for ages for the food as well as to remind them to clear our table when we are done. At the end we paid about £115 for two people and I do not think this is the service you would expect for this price range, I get a friendlier smile at McDonald's or KFC. This place was there because it's location but apart from that they have nothing special. The food was very average and not authentic for sure, if you are going to an event near Royal Festival Hall you better consider somewhere else.

One main came out on its own and we assumed that it couldn't be ours as we'd only ordered 10 minutes ago. Then we had a bit of a to-do with the waitress, who said that it was ours, and if we had wanted our starter to come first, we should have said. She then brought the starter out first at our insistence, but clearly the mains had already been cooked and were just kept humming away under a hot plate – when they arrived immediately afterwards they were tepid and had a thick skin on the top.
