"D.S.A. Having dinned at at the Dock Kitchen being within the trade for 20 years.. I was in a gentle manner let down!!! What i enjoyed, was my well selected wine. The server had no knowledge of the daily menu yes we were neglected so when the service charge is included on the bill I feel it is somewhat a chick, The extraction seemed to be clogged the grills smoke made it hard to find my partner. However, I must admit my Veal chop was cooked right! Overall I did find the whole meal to be stodgy, from starter, to main, including the dessert which was like sand on my pallet. Every dish had a minimum of the main ingredient a substantial amount of starch to choke up...read more"

"I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant in Glasgow. I was craving Nigerian cuisine and was able to easily find the restaurant using Google Maps. The restaurant itself was clean and had plenty of seating for customers. I enjoyed the Afro music playing in the background, which gave me a feeling of being at home. The menu offered a variety of African Nigerian dishes, drinks, and snacks. I ordered the famous palm wine that I had missed for over 5 years. The prices were reasonable and the customer service was good, although they could benefit from hiring more staff to make the service faster - I had to wait about 30 minutes for my meal. The pounded yam I ordered didn't taste as authentic as I had hoped, but the sweet soup I tried was delicious, albeit a bit watery. The pounded yam, however, was perfectly prepared. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit and would definitely consider returning whenever I am in Glasgow."

"Little Petra has amazing food. The flavours are so on point and their lamb is slow cooked and very authentic their lamb and moussaka is a must try. The owner is passionate about his business and personally rang to follow up with me about an issue I had on a delivery last time, and we resolved the issue and he even provided me some desserts on the house when he heard my knee was injured and I couldn't walk. The food on delivery this time was fresh, hot, and very good portions with a decent amount of meat. Very happy to see Jordanian cuisine in Cambridge with such authentic flavour and an owner who takes pride in his restaurant and making sure every issue is followed up with. Thank you! I'll be back!"

"Delicious food. Welcoming helpful staff who helped us with choosing from the wonderful menu. Chicken was succulent and delicious,as were all the other dishes we ate. Freshly prepared and great you could share lots of small plates too. Definitely irecommend this little gem of a restaurant and lovely to experience all the different flavours of the Middle East."

"I was in this bar new years eve, one of their female staff claimed I was touching inappropriately, All I did was touch her shoulder to tell her I my bank card was not with me, would you come with me to my table or I should go and get my card, her response was don't touch me and I said in was I meant to just walk away without telling you I need to go get my card? Next thing she went to complain to a staff called Daniel mixed race fella from someone in Caribbean, more like Daniel wanted to impress the female staff, without asking me any questions, he told the security to get me out because I touch a female staff by the shoulder. About staff had to lift me from the bar area and just dump on the stairs No man should be treated the way they treated me."

"We are out of towners to this place but unlike other country pubs we were made to feel welcome The food was absolutely outstanding, probably the best we’ve had. Our homemade gin and tonic was very good as well shame I was driving). Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone."

"Understated, welcoming and deceptively good cooking awaits you at The Dering Arms. A particular strength is their 'specials ' board laden with fish dishes. And there is a very practised hand in the kitchen that certainly knows how to honour the best that halibut, sea bass, bream, crab and so on have to offer. Very good; very hidden away; very worthwhile seeking out. PerM"
