Excellent seafood served in wonderful surroundings. Food: Sardines followed by an enormous Lemon Sole. Chorizo followed by Tuna Steak. Everything beautifully cooked and served without any fuss. An excellent venue for my wife's birthday lunch.

We are outside the city to this place, but unlike other country pubs we were made to feel welcome The food was absolutely excellent, probably the best we had. Our homemade gin and tonic was very good and shame I drove). Would not hesitate to recommend everyone.

I had another fantastic meal at the Dering Arms! The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional, and I highly recommend this restaurant. If you can, I suggest taking a car or the train to get there, as it is conveniently located near Pluckley Train Station.
