The Dering Arms - Menu

As much a restaurant as it is a pub with a formal eating area behind and a mixed eating and drinking bar at the front.

As I live very near to The Dering Arms it is considered my localI have always had great food whether eating alone or with friends.

My wife and I had a most enjoyable lunch the food was fresh, tasty and looked great. Would not hesitate to recommend the Dering Arms View menu

The atmosphere was formal rather like a private Golf ClubStaff did not go out of their way to chat, but focussed on chatting to fellow staff.

Highly recommended. The restaurant has a charming ambiance and offers great value for delicious food. Perfect spot for a romantic date night.

Excellent seafood served in wonderful surroundings. Food: Sardines followed by an enormous Lemon Sole. Chorizo followed by Tuna Steak. Everything beautifully cooked and served without any fuss. An excellent venue for my wife's birthday lunch. View menu

I had another fantastic meal at the Dering Arms! The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional, and I highly recommend this restaurant. If you can, I suggest taking a car or the train to get there, as it is conveniently located near Pluckley Train Station.

This was our first time at this restaurant and it certainly won't be our last. The menu was fantastic, the fish was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and the wine selection was also excellent. This place has become our new favorite spot in the neighborhood.

Understated, welcoming and deceptively good cooking awaits you at The Dering Arms. A particular strength is their 'specials ' board laden with fish dishes. And there is a very practised hand in the kitchen that certainly knows how to honour the best that halibut, sea bass, bream, crab and so on have to offer.
