"We arrived at our reserved time and were seated promptly, but it took the staff 20 minutes to come to our table to take any sort of order (drinks or food)! We were not informed that the restaurant does not accept cards, so it was embarrassing when I had to leave the restaurant to go to the cash machine across the street in order to pay the bill. When the bill finally arrived, we were shocked by the price of a pint of Cobra at £8!!! We have always been satisfied with the service at this restaurant in the past, but this was not our best experience."

"We stopped by for lunch while exploring the area. At first, I thought the restaurant was closed because it was so quiet, but the manager greeted us warmly. We ordered some Bombay-style snacks to nibble on, and they were quite spicy (I usually avoid spicy foods), but very enjoyable nonetheless. My partner's chicken starter was a bit too salty for our taste (we try to limit salt for health reasons), but the chef came over to chat with us and generously offered to prepare another chicken starter right away. He also adjusted our mains to suit our preferences. The mango lassi was delicious, as was the virgin piña colada. The portion sizes were great too (pictures were taken after we finished eating)."

"I have to start by saying how the staff are always smiling. They 're friendly and have some great recommendations. Moving onto the food, we ordered the chaat platter, chilli paneer and prawns from the tandoor clay oven. I was disappointed by the paani Puri it lacked the tang and explosion of taste you expect, instead it had a very bland and lacked flavour. However the rest of the items on the platter were absolutely fabulous!! Fresh, crunchy, tangy, tasty, flavourful. Everything you expect from a chaat platter. I could have ordered another 2 (without the paani Puri) The chilli paneer was one of the best I 've had! The tandoor clay oven prawns were perfectly cooked and had the right amount of 'tandoor ' taste however the marinate flavour was lacking. Mains veg Kolhapuri.... Oh my gosh!!!! No words can describe how amazing this was and how is it was possible to make veg taste like it did!!! It was absolutely divine!!! We ate it with garlic naan, that too was fab.. it was rolled to the right thinness and had the absolute perfect amount of garlic and butter!! An absolute treat. I should mention as we ate others sat around us on other tables just couldn 't stop complementing the foods they had ordered! So I 'm definitely going back to taste the other items! Desserts gulab jamun and pistachio kulfi ... At first glance the gulab jaman looked lost in the bowl it was presented in, the syrup was way too thin and the 2 balls were too small. However, the taste.... I don 't think I 've had better. Some improvement required in the presentation and with the syrup .. but the taste 5 5 .. amazing! The pistachio kulfi I expect frozen... But ... We couldn 't dig in... Waited almost 25 30mins for it to soften ... Once it did once again the taste was everything you expect... Another 5 5. However does require some thinking to ensure the customer doesn 't leave with a brain freeze instead of the flavoursome taste. We enjoyed multiple drinks including mango lassi, lemonade and mint tea all of which were fab.. even the mango lassi was the perfect consistency however it comes with ice which when melted affects the taste of the lassi (server should ask if the customer would like or not I wasn 't given an option) I 'm going back!! And I definitely recommend!!"

"they can see from the reviews that this restaurant is highly regarded and its call is justified. I confess to being disturbed when I found out it is part of the imperial, but my fears were allied. service was friendly, efficient and helpful. I can not comment a lot from the menu as my partner and I had the same dishes, but we enjoyed the freshly cooked fish that had exactly the right amount of seasoned and fresh crumble. I was resurrected when the waiter informed us that they would run out of monkfish, but they could replace them with white fish. at least this meant that it was not a frozen microshaft meal. another soothing aspekt is the menu itself. usually overlong in Indian restaurants. means that none of them is fresh. the menu here is diverse, but realistic. why not 5 stars. now the decor is a little more extinct and the only memory that they are imperial."

"Decor in the restaurant isnt great looking but more importantly its clean. They are definitely missing a trick with the lack of atmosphere and the place could do with a makeover. All that said the food is absolutely magnificent and at the end of the day that's what your here for and I have to say it twice because its important especially after putting the decoration down THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT. The staff are nice and friendly and give you the space you like but are around if you need anything without hounding you. Price is reasonable and did I mention the food is amazing? It seems to be fairly quiet anytime I go and maybe a little investment in the decor might bring in more people and make the place more profitable? But whatever you do keep your chef's they are real assets. I've no problem giving this place the full 5 stars and anyone reading this you should try this place out the food is great, as long as your not planning to propose to the significant other that night."

Upon request the chef had prepared our order in Desi style and it was delicious. Chetinad chicken gravy is a must try. "We had a lovely fish and chip dinner from here, we were staying nearby so took it back with us. The chips were delicious and the fish was fresh. You can choose a large or medium cod, I had the medium and my husband had the large, but I think I could have managed the large fish too, the medium was quite small. The batter was very light and tasty, not thick and greasy. We hadn't got any vinegar or ketchup at our apartment (holiday rental) and they very generously provided all the vinegar and sauce sachets we could need. It was freshly cooked, so we didn't mind waiting for it and it was worth waiting for. We wouldn't hesitate to buy our fish chips from here again."

"the critique is so written that people who are not familiar with the directed can understand. good portion, enough to feed an above-average feeder, as this kitchen would normally be with their briyani meal times. good service. the young man was attentive enough and thoughtful. good location with many other Asian locations around and is close enough on the main road. order lammwurst briyani meal deal. decent price and gave salat curry huhn (rogan josh). curry huhn was very bland and was not spicy, which is strange, as one of the key seasoned for the court is chili. the lamdwurst was in order, not too strong in taste, especially for mutton. also have spiced briyani, which does not have the same as the basic in the meal deal. salty, good, not much to complain, but no strong flavored when consumed. spinat paste tofu (Saag distributor) was very salty and spicy from any reason. avoid this. Finally, there is the karahi curry huh that they can say is different from the curry huh mentioned because it drier and not orange colored. the red-colored Karahi chicken was one of the signature dishes and it was not salty, it was neither bland nor it was lacking fragrant or too spicy. I heard regularly say that the naan is good. try to get signature dishes on the menu instead of shooting in the dark."
