"Since the well-run and ever better informed diners of london visit the market for authenticity, it is interesting to see how the restaurant of the middle market Indian' is coming. where I come from, no single Indian restaurant is operated by a person who has ever been in india (the family behind the taj mahal originates from karachi, and the man who promises a taste of india, hails from chittagong.) but in the city london and in countless suburbs, we have come to accept, embrace and always ask we go for a curry' instantly connotable asses of mild deception, civil and frivole entertainment and feel very full with delicious meat and fat. and there is always this beautiful moment when they serve them a laminated menu of frozen desserts in a plastic penuin that they would have rejected, even if they were not too full again because it is a disturbing picture. sripur is close to my office, zomato informed me, so I led us there about a precurry doombar in the cheshire Cheese./ and yes, in the old of dishoom, food trucks and Michelin-starred curry kitchen, the mid-market curry house of the city is alive and well. / I say the medium market because for two of us, with a poppadom, a tandoori mixed grill everyone, say chana, roti and naan, plus two large kingfishers each, the bill came to £60. < br>/ but it was great. not spectacular, but the mixed grill was exactly what they want to stand at this price point among these. the keema was substantial, the fehde. the naans were a bit thin and crispy for my personal taste, but they said and channa were both deliciously fed. and kingfisher is kingfisher a sin qua non of a good (british) curry experience./ was sripur as location service is friendly enough, efficient and uninvasive. it is mainly colonized by some men in suits. not the loud, obnoxic art, but a smashing, something behind their best gray-handed-the-ears chaps with loose ties and the intention of a £40 taxi house in front of them. / could have had another curry for it."

"I recently explored the length and breadth of London in search of the most delicious Indian cuisine, and my latest stop was at Bayleaf restaurant in Whetstone, North London. Bayleaf is a fantastic establishment that lived up to its highly recommended reputation, as evidenced by its nomination in the British Curry Awards. I was eager to try their new menu, which offers a rich variety of traditional North Indian dishes with a modern twist. The restaurant provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with both modern and classic decor that adds to the overall dining experience. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding me through the menu and recommending various dishes. The starters, including crispy papadums and homemade chutneys, were a delightful introduction to the meal. The standout dish for me was the Samander Ki Bhojan, which featured succulent grilled king prawns and tender scallops presented with a wow factor in terms of taste and presentation. The main dishes, such as the Lajawaab Lamb and Kerala-style Red Snapper, were equally impressive, with flavors that were tasteful and delicate. The vegetarian dishes, like the Raviya stuffed baby aubergine, were also delicious. The Bayleaf restaurant has truly earned its accolades and awards, and their new a la carte menu showcases their dedication to maintaining high standards. Don't miss out on this culinary gem in North London."

"My wife and i visited Girvan and gave the Auld Aquaintance Cafe a try We were not disappointed. The Cafe is managed by the husband and wife team Prenil and Delphina Prenil is the chef and Delphina manages the cafe. They both made us feel extremely welcome and Prenil allowed us complete freedom to dictate our own taste choices and explored with us our food likes. Prenil can make virtually any dish to order rightly called food fusion) and loves a challenge but on this occasion we opted for Indian food and a house special Chicken Kashmiri and a Prenil customised Korma. We also ordered chicken Pakora and Onion Bhajis as starters. Each dish came piping hot directly from the kitchen as soon as it was ready to eat. Each and every dish was a delight , the Pakora was extremely succulent and the dips were delicious as were the Bhajis. The main courses each included the curry dish, rice, a hand made fresh flat bread and a Poppodom the food was specialised and subtly different in taste from standard curries , you could literally taste a multitude of different flavours. If you are in Girvan then don't be put off by the cafe decor , its all about the food and it is well worth the visit we don't think you will be disappointed and very reasonable prices for speciality food. If you have dietary requirements then they can usually accommodate most my wife is gluten intolerant and had no issues However if possible phone ahead and they will proactively respond to your specific needs."
