"Southwark is a classic corner pub that pays homage to a local historical boxing arena. Located near Waterloo Station and opposite Southwark Tube, this Victorian pub has a beautiful brick facade. The interior is adorned with photos of legendary boxers who once frequented the Ring Boxing Arena, which was sadly demolished during WWII. The pub has a high ceiling, a real Victorian London pub vibe, and outdoor seating for warmer days. The beer selection is impressive, with 4 cask options and craft beers from breweries like Hammerton. I tried a pint of Madri, which was decently priced at £6. The menu offers Thai food, available for takeaway. Despite the quiet afternoon, the staff were friendly and attentive. The pub plays great rock/indie music, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Overall, Southwark is a beautiful pub with top-notch staff and is definitely worth a visit."

"I know this was a harsh score, given the pasta was fresh and really tasty (couldn’t fault it in fact) but the price was mental. I had half what you’d get in a Coco large, and paid more. The garlic bread was disappointing too hard as rock, no seasoning and didn’t taste of garlic. I want to support small businesses, but can’t afford to pay £7.10 for that kind of portion size!"

"Was really nice to eat somewhere different. Had a chocolate oat yoghurt thing with coconut flakes on top. It was delicious, you could taste enough chocolate to know it was there but not enough to go into a diabetic coma. I also had a salame al cioccolato, which was warm and soft (usually in Italy you tend to find them a bit denser). The flat white was nice and the selection of hot food was very wide."

"We walked in and were seated immediately in a corner to the right of the door. It didn't take long for us to place our orders. There was a lot of discussion at the table about short stacks and big stacks. While I admired a hearty crêpe at the table next to us, I decided to ditch my diet and ordered a short stack of pancakes with bananas. My dining companions opted for blueberry pancakes and cream pancakes. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any photos. The pancakes were light and fluffy, just like Aunt Jemima's mix but without the additives! I also ordered a side of sweet potatoes, which were just as delicious as any sweet dish."

"My friend and I had been to a spa in Manchester and chose to eat at Pizza Express as we had some Tesco Clubcard Vouchers. The Corn Exchange was the nearest Pizza Express to us so we chose this one. It was a hot sunny afternoon and most diners were outside, however the branch of Pizza Express does not have outside seating so we went inside. Naturally it was very quiet due to the weather. But the service was good and the food delicious. Previously we have always had the vegan nourish bowl at Pizza Express but as this is not on the new menu we had the Beetroot Buddha Bowl instead. It was delicious! For dessert I had the vegan ginger cake which was gorgeous and my friend had the Lotus Biscoff cheesecake. The desserts here are delicious! All in all a lovely experience."

"we went here for her gluten-free pizza, which was great. regular pizza was also great. Chicken pesto pasta was very good overall with large pieces of chicken, but lack of Parmesan cheese and/or salt and was a little bland. we did not know that this was not a sit down restaurant and was only for the trip out. later found out that the pub next door served their food, so if they are adult and want to sit down and enjoy eating roast pizzeria, they can."
