A delectable chicken salad sandwich featuring tender chicken, crisp lettuce, creamy dressing, and fresh bread.

"This restaurant is a nice spot for a quick snack. It could use more seating. The coffee was excellent and the sandwiches and pastries were delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and the baked goods were tasty. I appreciate the option to bring your own cup and receive a discount on your hot drink."

"I've used Rose Bud Café several times since my last visit and must say that the food is CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT from here matched only by the top-notch service. I always opt for the Mega-breakfast and it's always beautifully cooked and delivered piping hot. I can...therefore unhesitatingly recommend this excellent café and its excellent staff: thanks again. :"

"I recently visited a fantastic local coffee shop that has been recently renovated and looks very stylish! The dining area has a modern and contemporary feel, with clearly displayed vegan options and freshly made sandwiches and paninis available. I decided to try the Christmas white flour bap with vegan sausages, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, and it was delicious and filling. The sausages in the bap were of good quality and they were generous with their portions. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that vegan butter was used and taking precautions to prevent cross-contamination by adding extra foil on the counter. I was very impressed by their attention to detail and can't wait to return!"

"Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!! Worst breakfast we have had. We ordered 2 large breakfasts and they came all in a small box, all mushed together. The hash brown was under the beans and tomato so it was soggy, the sausages were like dog meat - horrible, cheap, not cooked enough. I would love to know where they buy them from. The black pudding looked like it had been steamed, not fried. There was 1 piece of burnt toast and 1 piece of soggy crust. The egg was snotty and far too undercooked, the tea was like warm milk. Both of our breakfasts went in the bin. We will never order from here again and would not advise anyone to order from here. It was a waste of money. If you can't make something as simple as a breakfast, then you should not have a cafe. Absolutely rubbish!!!"

"We were staying in the area for my mum’s birthday and used TripAdvisor to find a nice place for dinner. We found this place and booked, and wow we’re glad that we did! We were expecting to have to pay a deposit or prebook as...we were a party of 11 but there were no issues with that. Drinks came out quickly and correctly. We all ordered although halfway down the table we were informed that there would now be no “special” ribeye steaks left. A bit saddening but can’t be helped! The food came and it was absolutely wonderful. Well presented, very tasty. The sirloin was beautifully cooked for everyone (we had all ordered it cooked differently), the belly pork and crackling looked fantastic but a special shout-out has to go to the garlic mushroom sauce out of this world! We quickly noticed that our waitress was alone in the dining area she was constantly running around, although never rushed us, or forgot anything. She was absolutely wonderful I never got her name but I do hope she sees this review. She explained that it was very busy in the bar, and in the dining area, and there was a private function upstairs so it seemed that a lot of staff had been pulled elsewhere, leaving her to manage the dining room on her own. She managed fantastically but really could’ve done with another pair of hands. The only slight letdown was the dessert menu not very many options and so we all passed and opted for birthday cake at home. Overall, a fantastic meal, really good quality food, wonderful staff and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you!"

"I had the vegan aubergine schnitzel with new potatoes, rocket, pickled onions, capers, dill and oat milk dressing, and it was really lovely. Light and fresh but satisfying. I’ll definitely have it again. My carnivore father couldn’t believe how pretty and colorful it looked They offer oat or soy milk with coffee, though there are lots of speciality teas to choose from. They also offer a vegan club sandwich with red pepper and mushroom, vegan soup (lentil and sweet potato the day I visited), avocado toast, spinach and avocado salad, and a handful of vegan side dishes. There are lots of vegetarian options. Most people come for the pastries and afternoon tea, which are vegetarian not vegan. The only vegan cake listed on the menu is a carrot gugelhupf, which looked good. Would have liked to have seen more vegan cakes/desserts as they are easy to offer."

"Throughout most of January (2018) I frequented Grace and Favor for all the right reasons: it is a wonderful, cozy place to either enjoy a coffee with a friend, read a paper or to have something delicious to eat. The staff are genuine, friendly people and the food, coffee and desserts are consistently VERY good. Earned compliments. PS: They have limited seating outside (under an awning) and they supply a limited amount of newspapers for their patrons to enjoy a nice touch."

"Driven past many times but we decided to stop in for a light lunch and a drink today. It was a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as we walked in and Adam the owner was great. Had a chicken salad sandwich which was perfect and spotted other food coming out which also looked delicious. Great locals in there too who were friendly and had a good laugh with them. Not to mention Roy Wood from Wizzard was in there this afternoon!: it’s a great pub and we will definitely be returning."

"We made our first visit to The Walpole Arms following the recommendation of friends. It was a lovely sunny day and lots of people were seated outside. We had a quiet inside table and appreciated the cool atmosphere. Once our drinks has been brought, we ordered roasts and they arrived promptly. However, there was quite a gap between the arrival of our plates of meat and the supporting vegetables. By the time we got to eat, the meat had cooled. The food was well cooked and there were plenty of vegetables and lots of gravy to enjoy. After our plates had been cleared, we ordered desserts but, this time, the wait was considerable and then they were delivered in drabs and drabs. Again the food as excellent. Overall the ambience was great; the food was excellent but the service was poor. Meanwhile, everyone was very friendly which pushed the overall score up from 'average ' to 'good '! On getting home, I discovered that a 10% service charge had been added to our bill. We were not told about this at the time and if I 'd known I would not have added a substantial tip!"

"Called in with my daughter for lunch. It was hard to chose as there was so many things that I wanted to try. Finally decided on the chuck wagon barbeque wrap which was chicken, stuffing, bacon, red onion and cheese for £6.95. You had a choice of chips, salad and coleslaw or chips. I had the chips which were so tasty. My daughter had a marinated chicken wrap with salad and coleslaw. We really enjoyed them. Good size portions. Coffee also was very coffee with impressive latte art. Rhys served us and he give us excellent service. Definitely be back."

"Had no idea this place existed until we moved offices recently. It's a pretty small cafe with limited seating and the queue is out the door at lunch time. It's definitely worth waiting in it though. Nice coffee (maybe a tad expensive) and good traybakes. Bread is fresh and numerous fillings to choose from. Staff are always really friendly. I would recommend to anyone looking to try somewhere different for lunch in Belfast"

"The menu at this restaurant is clearly labeled, and the chef and staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was suitable for me as a vegan. They even double-checked with me about the violife butter in the dish. Although they don't often cook with replacements, they were willing to seek my advice on cooking times for b*con and the color change with alternative milk. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming, and I felt very comfortable there. I will definitely be returning. The restaurant is small and cozy with beautiful decor, featuring porcelain tea cups everywhere. Note: they offered two choices of vegan cake, a herb sponge, and a brownie. Updated review as of August 2021."

"We always enjoy coming to this cosy pub on our visits to Windsor, and today was no exception! We had a nice friendly welcome, and the staff were very helpful with explaining what a ‘substantial’ meal would be to accompany our drinks in line with government restrictions at the time of writing. We really loved the carrot soup of the day a real winter warmer on what was a chilly december day.We also really enjoyed our big chunky tuna sandwiches and tasty salads too all at a very reasonable price from what was a great menu. The atmosphere was cosy and quiet, with a big log fire in the other bar and we loved all the christmas decs.Well done whoever chose the music too it was mainly classic rock music, on at a low volume, and really added to the enjoyment of our visit. It’s great when establishments get this small (but important) thing right. We really enjoyed our visit, and it was great to come back this real jewel in Windsor’s crown literally on the doorstep of the castle back open. If you’ve never been, come and see for yourself!"

"Stopped in for a quick bite of lunch, and it was delicious! Just ordered a bowl of their soup of the day which was Sweet Potato and Lentil. It was so hearty and yummy. Came with a large slice of thick, crusty soda bread that was equally good. The scones and pastries in the bakery case looked wonderful. Apparently lots of locals eat here, and I can see why. It is not a huge cafe, and there were people waiting for a table. When we were paying our tab, the waitress asked if everything was okay. I told her I LOVED the soup and jokingly added I would like the recipe. She went in back and got it for me from the chef!"
