"The staff at this restaurant is excellent and the service was amazing. The people are very friendly, and the place itself is cool and interesting. The food tastes good overall, but they seem to be trying too hard to be fancy and justify the high prices. For example, the extra tall, dripping burger served on a flat piece of wood might be visually appealing for social media, but it is impractical and stressful to eat. Additionally, the chips that come with the burger are so thinly sliced that they lack potato flavor and taste like burnt oil. They may look fancy, but these chips are also difficult to eat due to their small size and overly fried texture. Overall, the food seems to be more about presentation for pictures rather than practicality for enjoyable eating."

"Westfields shepherds bush Wahaca has a nice location with outdoor seating. However not so welcoming there. We were ignored by two staff members though they had attended to the couple next to us. Despite trying to catch their eye for a menu they seemed to be unaware and not taking much notice as they really should have been. Eventually.. Food and drinks were nice if a little overpriced. We were told when we got our drinks and food, to use the qr code at the table, to pay. Got the impression the waiting and serving staff wanted the minimum of communication and contact with customers Not very friendly there"

"we were here when we visited Edinburgh. it was the first of the six restaurants we visited, so we only ordered a burger ≤br/> we ordered the southern hühnerburger and we were served the southern bark. it was a real mistake, so we asked the server to get the southern huh instead. we had eaten some of the pommes, so we asked them to keep them and change the burger. she said it was okay and she's gonna change the whole plate, but we were just brought to the burger without the Chipotle sauce. the second server asked the first when they should get us pommes she said it was okay not to minibr/> it has spoiled us all day. it wasn't the fact that we accidentally ate bark meat (it is against our religion to eat bark meat), but the creation of the staff who has upset herself"

"Vegan options are clearly marked and it was nice to see some inspired decisions. we were recommended to order 1 2 dishes per person and to share the vegan steak tacos, small nachos, mushroom melt and sweet potato friries. it was a nice amount of food between two people and we have actually enjoyed the dishes in the rule, although the mushroom melt a little too spicy for me I was a fairly low chili shaft. The dishes are served 'tapas style', i.e. they come out as they are ready, which was not according to my preference, but service was efficient. we had an early dinner on Sunday and it was quiet. Visited October 2021"

"My friend and I had a quick dinner here before going to a gig at Sheperds Bush Empire last week. The 2 for 1 cocktail deal was great (note: before 7pm). We ordered chips with guac and salsa which were very good and the fish tacos and chicken tacos. The food was really yummy, although you don't get much with each dish so I would recommend ordering a few things per person. The only real down side to our meal was when we made a second order from our waitress (when we realized it wasn't enough food). We ordered very clearly but she got it completely messed up. Two salsas came that we had not ordered we simply asked for two more of the dips we had already had. And only one quesadilla came when we had asked for two. A different waitress helped us sort out the problem and she was very kind and helpful (an American girl). We did find it a bit odd that she took away the salsas that were ordered wrong, rather then just ask if we wanted to keep them as a courtesy of us having to wait for the correct ones. Overall though, the food tasted great, the margaritas were yummy and the place itself was very cute."

"this must be one of the best restaurants of all time! I and my daughter had two dinner times and an breakfast here and it was all fantastic! the quality of the ingredients are exceptional, scallops and brisket are a must, the personal can not be enough for them and the bonus it is dog friendly! fantastic cocktails especially the old fashion! I cannot expect to go back and trust me that they will not be disappointed to choose this restaurant. thank you so much for having appreciated us in the last night!"

"Great setting, Great service, Great food! As locals this was our first visit for a few years. We were with. Friend who has a few mobility issues and struggles with the cold. The table were allocated was by the door to the outside area which was a bit too cold and drafty for our friend. After mentioning this we were offered a table at the back which was perfect…thanks! Both food and service was first class. We chose a few small plates to start, and a mix of Seafood linguine, massama curry and a halloumi wrap for mains. Everything was made with quality ingredients, tasty and appetising and served by friendly attentive staff. Absolute couldn’t fault anything. Thank you"

"There are three different dining areas in the hotel including one which could be used for a family gathering or special occasion. The latter and one of the other areas both overlook the water and hills at the front of the hotel so if your...looking for a view best to ask. We were staying a few nights as residents and were automatically allocated a table with a view which was good. The other dining area alongside the lounge bar is attractively furnished and decorated. There are quality paintings from local artists on the walls throughout the hotel which acts as gallery space. Breakfast was served overlooking the water and there was a good choice of items including porridge, full Scottish with tattie scones), black pudding, etc all using quality products nicely cooked. Excellent. We had two evening meals, again served in the area overlooking the water. There was a decent selection of items on the menu representing local dishes and other popular choices. Eight starters priced between £5 £11; ten mains dishes £14 £25; and 5 desserts £6 £12. On our first evening I chose Loch Fyne Scallops £11) and my wife the Langoustines £11) which were both poached in a lemon white wine. The scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious as were the langoustines although my wife found dealing with the shells a bit of a fiddle. For mains we both had Sirloin Steaks served with a whisky sauce and accompanied with mushrooms, tomato and chips £25). Again the food was cooked to our preference and of a very good quality. On our second evening we had Haggis bon bons with a whisky sauce £8) and Bruschetta £7) for starters followed by Fish Chips £14). The food again was very good. There were a number of guests dining and there was a good ambiance. Service was efficient and pleasant in our experience and we were able to retire to the guest lounge after our meals for some drinks in very comfortable surroundings. Overall, quality food nicely cooked and served."

"Drive past this place since I’ve moved to Shoebury in 2020 and finally popped down and I was not disappointed! Great choice of seating areas, myself and family sat in the garden (family area) with the childrens climbing frame and slide. My 2 year old loved it and the food choices were brilliant! We had mussels and skin on fries it was beautifully cooked and came out in great timing! Staff were all really friendly and made sure we were well looked after throughout our time there! We will definitely be back! 100% recommend the mussels and pineapple gin! #delicious"

"We have been to Blue Bar numerous times and love it, yesterday was no exception. I had nachos and my husband had the dirty chips. It was the best guacamole I've ever tasted. "went into for a takeaway chickenerquesadilla and was charged 7.50, including a small pot of acid cream. what I got home was a cheeseless dry sluice, which should not be referred to as “Authentic, mexican or food for human consumption”. I was treated as if I interrupted the Insta-Sesh of this poor woman and with what could only be described as cat food packed in a flat brot that tasted nothing to give at all. I took the time to purify them to tell them, and they answered their business phone with just one hallo that seemed to interrupt the middle of an episode of girls and if she asked if I was dealing with the business that I wanted to ring, she talked with "yes yes." I explained that eating was terrible and that it tasted as if it had the same level of “not thinking that it was going to take care of.” I explained that I never tasted anything so lifeless and poor and she just reacted to it: “Thanks for your feedback.” again I would be angry if it was my business or if I happened to be mexican with any self-respect or proud of the kitchen that was born and cultivated in my wonderful country. I know it's london and it's stoke newington and that they shouldn't appear as if they give a hand over service, but it takes the cake. I would advise everyone to leave this place as empty as I have always seen it and not disturb it. it is absolutely a waste of time and money. worst £7.50 I took a long time. pick up a dose of Cat food and wrap it with exactly three jalapeños in a soggy tortilla and save the vapid and subduing hole of mediocrity it will leave in her life."

"Went here on mother's day, had very good meal so I booked a table for 2 for my girlfriends birthday. We got in, sat down ordered drinks and meal steak platter for 2 was in formed there is no chicken wings so they was gonna put some extra pork on platter but that never happened ether. Ordered another drink and barman had to run to shop to get vodka. We had a wait for that then the platter came out waitress put ours and another table at same time asked for mustard waitress went to shop for that as well. we still had not got chips or onion rings at this stage, so we asked for them by this time 8mins after main had been on table then was told there's no onion rings so we had enough we got up and walked out."

I feel the cold , so had to sit with my mega thick ski coat on as I couldn’t get warm, my husband eventually asked the staff if they could put the heating on but they said it wasn’t working, they did come and put the fire on when asked so I moved nearer , but it didn’t give any heat off at all! We would of stayed longer but decided to leave and go to another place which we knew was warm and cosey, so come on easy breeze get the heating on for us guys who hate the cold!"
