I recently had an excellent cocktail masterclass with Jay. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the art of crafting fabulous drinks.

Our group of six went for a Cocktail Master Class on Sunday afternoon. We were greeted with a glass of prosecco and then we met Jay who carried out our class. Jay was great, very informative good fun, and a treat to watch showing us how to make the perfect cocktail. Would definitely recommend this for a fun afternoon. Thanks Jay.

My wife and I stayed in Ryde for 6 nights in May 2023 and went on a Sunday lunchtime to the Artisan Cocktail Bar Grill. We decided to eat the Sunday roasts on offer and we were very pleased with our meals. The service was very good and we were very pleasantly surprised with how good the roasts were, bearing in mind that it calls itself a bar and grill. If we stay in Ryde again, we would definitely eat at the Artisan.

I was blown away by this restaurant! It's a hidden gem in Ryde. After searching high and low for a good place to eat on the Isle of Wight, I was not let down by this spot. The food was exceptional - I tried the chicken and chorizo linguine and it was top-notch. The service was also fantastic, with our waitress being very attentive and providing excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this place for both its food and cocktails. 100% worth a visit!

Went to celebrate my birthday. The staff were warm and friendly. However, after ordering a shared steak platter and enjoying a few drinks, I was surprised to have to wait for my Vodka, while staff went to the local supermarket. The steak platter arrived minus the chicken wings, vine tomato's and no extra pork as promised . We ask for mustard, where the waitress left us with half our dinner and went shopping for some. Cops finally arrived , but guess what, no onion rings, they had run out. We were very disappointed in the lack of stock and the haphazard way the food was presented and served. I if it's a special occasion give Artisan a miss.

Went here on mother's day, had very good meal so I booked a table for 2 for my girlfriends birthday. We got in, sat down ordered drinks and meal steak platter for 2 was in formed there is no chicken wings so they was gonna put some extra pork on platter but that never happened ether. Ordered another drink and barman had to run to shop to get vodka. We had a wait for that then the platter came out waitress put ours and another table at same time asked for mustard waitress went to shop for that as well. we still had not got chips or onion rings at this stage, so we asked for them by this time 8mins after main had been on table then was told there's no onion rings so we had enough we got up and...

However, once upstairs, the tables were poorly arranged, making it difficult for me to see half of my party. The atmosphere was dark, hot, and felt neglected. It took a long time for them to even play background music. The food was bland and dry, with the only highlights being the cocktails and chips. My steak, prawns, and pork were all overcooked to the point of being inedible. It was a shame to leave feeling so disappointed. We will not be returning to this restaurant for a meal. The vibe from the other party downstairs was unpleasant, with the staff and customers giving us disapproving looks as if it were our fault they couldn't be upstairs at 7pm.
