"We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday brunch lunch time and happened to walk past Quay Street Diner. Not hugely hungry just yet, we booked a table for 2 at 1.30pm. Getting there a little early, our table was ready in the busy restaurant so we sat down and ordered our drinks. Drinks (a pint and a tea) came out pretty quickly and our food order was taken. We then waited. And waited. For 45 minutes. My partner went up to order another a drink (as no-one came to the table) and enquire about food. Our 2nd round of drinks came 5 minutes later and the food 5 minutes after that. 55 minutes waiting for fish tacos and a Phillycheese Steak sub which were nice but not almost an hour wait nice. The server apologised when our 2nd round if drinks were brought over and when we went to pay they were also apologetic. I was looking forward to ordering a dessert (which sounded amazing) but didn't want to risk another massive wait. We left fairly quickly after finishing food."

"Mexican was for sure one of my favourite cuisines before going vegan, but alas! there's no reason to miss it anymore with Amigos! Usually has a more extensive menu, at the moment it is relatively small due to coronavirus. However, the food I did have was delicious (vegan nachos and vegan enchilada). The staff were so helpful and attentive. 100% will be returning and recommend to anyone in the area!"

"My son and I decided to grab a bite at the bar in the square of the city, and we were not disappointed. The bar food menu was simple yet appealing, with a variety of enticing options. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our food arrived quickly, and it was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. We left with both plates empty. We'll definitely be back!"

"We ordered takeout for New Year's Eve, which also happened to be my husband's 65th birthday. I must say that we have had many delicious takeout meals from this restaurant throughout the past year. However, unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. The onion bhajis were decent, but not as tasty as usual. The mushroom rice was okay, but the chicken tikka korma was absolutely inedible. The sauce was watery and tasted only of milk, with chicken that did not seem to be tikka. The lamb madras was also inedible, with very fatty meat and an overpowering cumin flavor in the sauce. The roti bread was raw in the middle. Everything was cold and took 45 minutes to heat up in the oven. We only took a few bites of each dish because they were so bad. Please improve the quality of your food, Viceroy, especially on special occasions like this. We will be looking for another restaurant for our next takeout order."

"I had a great experience dining at this restaurant. I usually choose the burrito, but decided to try something different this time and everything tasted delicious. "My friend and I went to the restaurant for her birthday and discovered that you can get a 20% discount by signing up on an app. We ordered 2 chicken tacos, 6 hot wings, and shared a double glazed burger for our main course. For dessert, we enjoyed a birthday ice cream topped with cake. The meal was delicious and we were so full that we couldn't eat another bite. The staff was friendly and efficient, making our dining experience even better."

"Fantastic service, this was our second visit at this restaurant and on both visits we've received a warm welcome. The food is delicious, a lovely infusion of Indian and Mexican food, excellent service throughout and a great menu with plenty of vegetarian options as well. "In Crosby looking for dinner, and my friend remembered this place. She'd been pre covid, but it was my first time. It was a Thursday evening. Its a lovely place. Only small, rustic, but very cosy. I loved the tree with its foliage spreading across...the ceiling. We were greated warmly, and show our table. The staff were welcoming, and friendly throughout. Re the food: To start I went with the lamb croquettes, served with hummus and pomegranate seeds. For mains, roasted hake, with crushed potatoes, braised leeks, peas and a cream, cider sauce. And for pud, the key lime pie. All the food was delicious. Add to that an aperitif, and a nice bottle of rosè, and it made for an excellent evening. A couple of tiny niggles though. For the price, I thought the size of the dessert a little small. Otherwise the meal was really good value. The other, though mains, starters were by no means cold, I think they could've been hotter. But then I'm old school and prefer my dins red hot : Nitpicking aside, it was a really good night, and i'd have not qualms about going back there, or recommending the place."

"So happy I found this place when working in the area. Beautiful atmosphere, and really friendly, helpful staff recommended to beef grills from the smokehouse section of the menu. Not usually the kind of things I put in zone, but what a great choice! Simply delicious and delicate, with great accompaniments. I'm hoping for more work in the area so I can come back. Oh! And almost forget to mention, probably the best key lime cake I cost depending on dessert. Come in."

"Me and a mate went here on a afternoon after work it was £10 for a burger beer deal , so we ordered it burger was nice very tasty as I was enjoying my meal the waitress came up to me and said if you want chips we can do it for £2 I said no thank you I'm fine as if I wanted chips I would of ordered them in the first place and you already asked us when we ordered. Finished the meal and decided to order 2 more beers for the road as I was ordering the barman tried to up sell me and asked if we wanted more burgers again if I wanted another burger I would of asked for it! , look it's a nice place I would possibly go there again just do not like being up sold it really gets on my nerves!"

"Great food as always at Wahaca. We were feeling adventurous and tried the cricket salsa (it was on the house). Kudos to Wahaca for trying tasty ways to raise awareness about sustainable foods it was delicious! The fish tacoes are superb and the reason we keep coming back. Pulled pork was great as well though we did not realize there would be 3 of them! The grilled halloumi tacoes were a bit too salty but still quite tasty. Drinks are great and there are plenty of different options you can’t get at most places. Would definitely return."

"surprisingly of the glowing reviews, as the decor was very rough around the edges, dirty cutlery on the table and the toilets very dirty. the service we received was extremely slow and unstoppable, we asked for serviettes and tried to signal for drinks. eating was okay, but definitiw the money wasn't worth considering the similarities of wahacca and carlito burrito. will not be back!"

"the best meal I had in a very long time. I am allergic to a few things and I am vegan, so often I find myself eating strange, subduing food when I go out. the experience in blue joanna could not be different. my friend had informed the team when she made the booking, and they said they could fit the menu. from experience, it doesn't always fill me with hope. we came to a very friendly greeting from the team (the restaurant itself is sweet with a great atmosphere, and they explained the menu. I asked about my allergies, shortly after the cook came and sat with me to discuss my allergies and told me I could have any veggie option on the menu!,( everything is fresh so easily cooked. he needed the time to go through everything he was extremely friendly, and didn't let me feel uncomfortable what is the case in the rule. I also felt that he took the allergies seriously, which is refreshing. the tapas dishes are perfect for sharing; we had three carnivores and two sweets, and all the food was amazing, no one was disappointed. we ate a lot of food (I am not used to having so much choice!, and the bill was surprisingly affordable. cocktails were also delicious! hands down, easy the best meal I had since the outbreak. I've been telling everyone that I know they should go! If you think about it, you won't be disappointed. Thank you. blue joanna team"
