"Very disappointed. Ate there yesterday, staff lovely I ordered potato skins with pulled pork. One was a mouthful of chewy fat, the others forkful of meat. The chips were the smallest portion I ever had a portion and none of the food was overly hot. I ordered a tonic water which tasted like bitter soda. of our party could not eat their fajitas because they were so spicy they had to eat ice cubes. Bill came to for food that was disappointing. for a coke is outrageous. Food far too expensive simply ripping off public. Cocktails"

"I discovered Amigos about three years ago and have eaten there or taken food away on several occasions. I loved the food. After a break of about a year, I went in yesterday and was quite disappointed: the food is completely different from what I remember, unremarkable and very disappointing. I have had better taste and flavours in frozen meals from Farmfoods. Clearly, the kitchen staff (I wouldn't go as far as to call them chefs! have changed but sadly, all good things about the food that I remember and felt attracted to, have gone too. I will not go there again."

"We ordered takeout for New Year's Eve, which also happened to be my husband's 65th birthday. I must say that we have had many delicious takeout meals from this restaurant throughout the past year. However, unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. The onion bhajis were decent, but not as tasty as usual. The mushroom rice was okay, but the chicken tikka korma was absolutely inedible. The sauce was watery and tasted only of milk, with chicken that did not seem to be tikka. The lamb madras was also inedible, with very fatty meat and an overpowering cumin flavor in the sauce. The roti bread was raw in the middle. Everything was cold and took 45 minutes to heat up in the oven. We only took a few bites of each dish because they were so bad. Please improve the quality of your food, Viceroy, especially on special occasions like this. We will be looking for another restaurant for our next takeout order."

"I had a great experience dining at this restaurant. I usually choose the burrito, but decided to try something different this time and everything tasted delicious. The children's menu options are a bit basic, with choices like pizza or chicken nuggets, but overall it's worth a visit. The delivery times can be a bit unpredictable during peak hours, but for takeout it's worth giving it a try."

"I dined at this restaurant twice recently: once with my husband, and then again with a friend who I had mentioned it to. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. The fajitas were particularly tasty, and the white wine complemented the meal perfectly. I was initially unsure about the type of cuisine offered at this restaurant, but I'm glad I decided to give it a try as it has become one of my favorite places to dine. Coventry doesn't have many restaurants like this one, aside from chain establishments, so it is a welcomed addition to the dining scene. While I would love to see dishes like Tlayudas and tamales on the menu, what we did have was fantastic, colorful, and filling. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, and the interior is charming. I enjoyed sitting in the back garden on a sunny day, but the upstairs area is also cozy and colorful. Keep up the great work!"

"Excellent food with a wide variety of Mexican cuisines !! From burritos to quesadillas they shop had many different sorts of options. You can select what sort of base you would like e.g. burrito, tacos, quesadillas etc. And then chose what sort of filling you would like, there were both vegetarian and meaty options depending on where your dietary lie. Finally with what sort of salsa to have with your meal, there were choices ranging from mild to extra hot for those who wanted a challenge. Of course we couldn't forget the amazing nachos with generous helpings of guacamole, salsa and cheese !! Not to mention the Vegan nachos for vegans or people who are just up for trying something new. Truly an amazing experience there with filling foods that are worth every penny !! Would definitely recommend for people who enjoy Mexican food or for people looking for something new to try !!"

"go here all the time! lol jeans is absolutely delicious. really good burger, but the first time I decided to make the famous Steak plate. everything I had eaten and then from here was delicious. the cocktails are beautiful, only very expensive and no 241 offers otherwise I would drink here all the time. the personal is also great. I can just say I have blinds and the prawn loaded fries and both are absolutely amazing! prawn is deffo better, but I will always update my fries here. the chips cut to house are phenomenal ash. on the photos is the asain or Korean chicken burger, which I cannot remember the names of the apology. Steak plates and these cocktails were beautiful."

"I visited this restaurant after reading positive reviews on Google. Upon arriving, I was surprised to see that it was fairly quiet despite the good reviews, but it quickly filled up. The service was quick, the atmosphere was nice, and the prices were reasonable. The menu had a variety of options, and though I wanted more than I could eat, I will definitely be returning. I chose the Pollo En Crema De Chipotle, which was excellent."

"We had a fantastic dining experience at The Treehouse. We opted for the 2-course set menu for £18, which included some of the best food we've had in a long time. We couldn't resist adding dessert, bringing our total to £25 for 3 courses. The service was extremely friendly and relaxed, and the decor of the restaurant was warm, cosy, and beautiful. The quality of the food was exceptional, especially considering the price. This was our first time dining at The Treehouse, but it certainly won't be our last. "Music is ridiculously loud, and this place is understaffed. What staff there are were ok in the beginning, but seemed to quickly lose interest. Our cups and plates piled up until we asked 2 or 3 times for them to be removed. Our bottomless nachos indeed had a bottom, as we found it and no one ever came to refill. Sat there for 45 mins after finishing our food and weren't offered more drinks or the bill were just ignored. The bill came with a 30 quid service charge on it which given we'd had a dirty table for most of the night seemed a bit excitable. Pricey, passable food in small portions, inconsistent service, not enough staff and those who were there did not care that much."

"Well... there 's a reason the staff don 't ask you how you 're food was. Not only are they clearly all dead behind the eyes, they know the food is massively over stated. The menu tantalizes you like a siren calling a sailor to his doom. £16.50 for a rib platter that comprised of a singular rib with less meat on the bone than if they pulled it off the carcass of a starved dog. £15+ for brisket which was 2 thin slices of beef with less flavor than a hookers panty liner, each mouthful brought less flavour than the last. For the price, I wouldn 't expect to get better at a Toby Carvery, but you certainly can! Each dish was served with roast potatoes and a pickle pot... A PICKLE POT!"

"Went here for breakfast with my mother and brother for a breakfast and the food was OK. However upon leaving my mother asked the guy at the bar where the toilets were to which he sharply replied that they were for customers only (like you don't belong here). He then challenged her where she was sitting just to be 100 percent sure that she was actually a customer. Didn't apologise about the misunderstanding either.Won't be back if you have that attitude towards your customers."

"If you're looking for a decent British take on traditional Cali-Mex dining, this is as good a place to start as you'll find. We ordered nearly identical burrito in a bowl/box meals and it was definitely the right choice. The boxes were packed (see attached not so great pic) with delicious ingredients. We also ordered a selection of chips and dips, which were all good but none of the sauces were really meant for dipping but made great additions to the boxes. Highlights included the amount of food for the price, as mentioned the box was stuffed. The quality of the ingredients and taste were great. On the flip side, provision of sour cream was anemic and the grilled veggies could've been a bit more charred. Additionally, maybe I'm missing something but I've never had cucumbers included as a grilled veggie but they were a fine addition. The sauces could've been a bit more robust for the price (with chips), and a cheese or nacho sauce would've been a welcome inclusion or side. We'd happily order again."

"Great setting, Great service, Great food! As locals this was our first visit for a few years. We were with. Friend who has a few mobility issues and struggles with the cold. The table were allocated was by the door to the outside area which was a bit too cold and drafty for our friend. After mentioning this we were offered a table at the back which was perfect…thanks! Both food and service was first class. We chose a few small plates to start, and a mix of Seafood linguine, massama curry and a halloumi wrap for mains. Everything was made with quality ingredients, tasty and appetising and served by friendly attentive staff. Absolute couldn’t fault anything. Thank you"

"Me and my boyfriend come here almost weekly for our date night, we absolutely love it every time! The staff are so friendly and approachable, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I always have the beef tacos and quesadillas, my plate is cleared...every single time which doesn't happen often for me. All the small touches make the experience so much more enjoyable such as serving nice cold water in old mexican tequila bottles, it is much appreciated after a spicy meal haha! It can be a little pricey (usually £50/£60 for 2 courses for 2 people and a drink) but it is well worth it for the quality of food and service. I couldn't fault this place and every time I leave I look forward to going straight back again. Thank you to the team for making it a lovely experience!"

"Food was lovely and service was great. We were put downstairs which felt very unsafe. The handrail going downstairs was hanging off the wall with a handwritten sign above it saying broken handrail do not use why not just get it fixed) it had obviously been like this for some time! The tables are really crammed in and there is no fire escape downstairs that we could see certainly no signs if there was a fire anywhere in that restaurant and you are downstairs there is no way you would escape. It’s a shame as great staff and great food being let down by the upkeep of the restaurant"

"We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while wandering around enjoying the Christmas lights. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the variety of dishes was excellent. We shared a small selection of tapas and each had a main dish. The flavors overall were fantastic and the level of spice was just right, although the meatballs were a bit tough. The atmosphere was great, and it was really cool to see a working SNES set up, although I didn't have a chance to play. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again. The price per person is around £20-30. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Quesadillas, Meatballs, Olives."
