"We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday brunch lunch time and happened to walk past Quay Street Diner. Not hugely hungry just yet, we booked a table for 2 at 1.30pm. Getting there a little early, our table was ready in the busy restaurant so we sat down and ordered our drinks. Drinks (a pint and a tea) came out pretty quickly and our food order was taken. We then waited. And waited. For 45 minutes. My partner went up to order another a drink (as no-one came to the table) and enquire about food. Our 2nd round of drinks came 5 minutes later and the food 5 minutes after that. 55 minutes waiting for fish tacos and a Phillycheese Steak sub which were nice but not almost an hour wait nice. The server apologised when our 2nd round if drinks were brought over and when we went to pay they were also apologetic. I was looking forward to ordering a dessert (which sounded amazing) but didn't want to risk another massive wait. We left fairly quickly after finishing food."

"I discovered Amigos about three years ago and have eaten there or taken food away on several occasions. I loved the food. After a break of about a year, I went in yesterday and was quite disappointed: the food is completely different from what I remember, unremarkable and very disappointing. I have had better taste and flavours in frozen meals from Farmfoods. Clearly, the kitchen staff (I wouldn't go as far as to call them chefs! have changed but sadly, all good things about the food that I remember and felt attracted to, have gone too. I will not go there again."

"My son and I decided to grab a bite at the bar in the square of the city, and we were not disappointed. The bar food menu was simple yet appealing, with a variety of enticing options. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our food arrived quickly, and it was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. We left with both plates empty. We'll definitely be back!"

"We ordered takeout for New Year's Eve, which also happened to be my husband's 65th birthday. I must say that we have had many delicious takeout meals from this restaurant throughout the past year. However, unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. The onion bhajis were decent, but not as tasty as usual. The mushroom rice was okay, but the chicken tikka korma was absolutely inedible. The sauce was watery and tasted only of milk, with chicken that did not seem to be tikka. The lamb madras was also inedible, with very fatty meat and an overpowering cumin flavor in the sauce. The roti bread was raw in the middle. Everything was cold and took 45 minutes to heat up in the oven. We only took a few bites of each dish because they were so bad. Please improve the quality of your food, Viceroy, especially on special occasions like this. We will be looking for another restaurant for our next takeout order."

"visited here a few days ago for my 24th birthday meal. our waitress was very friendly and helped us with some cocktail recommendations that we ordered immediately. we have the pot stickers and garnel for beginners and I got the chicken Fajitas for dinner, the amazing highly recommend! after dinner the staff came by very friendly everyone and gave me a nice part of kuchen witt kerzen and they all sung me 'happy birthday,' which felt very special! had a nice evening overall."

"I visited this restaurant after reading positive reviews on Google. Upon arriving, I was surprised to see that it was fairly quiet despite the good reviews, but it quickly filled up. The service was quick, the atmosphere was nice, and the prices were reasonable. The menu had a variety of options, and though I wanted more than I could eat, I will definitely be returning. I chose the Pollo En Crema De Chipotle, which was excellent."

"We had a fantastic dining experience at The Treehouse. We opted for the 2-course set menu for £18, which included some of the best food we've had in a long time. We couldn't resist adding dessert, bringing our total to £25 for 3 courses. The service was extremely friendly and relaxed, and the decor of the restaurant was warm, cosy, and beautiful. The quality of the food was exceptional, especially considering the price. This was our first time dining at The Treehouse, but it certainly won't be our last. "Well... there 's a reason the staff don 't ask you how you 're food was. Not only are they clearly all dead behind the eyes, they know the food is massively over stated. The menu tantalizes you like a siren calling a sailor to his doom. £16.50 for a rib platter that comprised of a singular rib with less meat on the bone than if they pulled it off the carcass of a starved dog. £15+ for brisket which was 2 thin slices of beef with less flavor than a hookers panty liner, each mouthful brought less flavour than the last. For the price, I wouldn 't expect to get better at a Toby Carvery, but you certainly can! Each dish was served with roast potatoes and a pickle pot... A PICKLE POT!"

"Went here for breakfast with my mother and brother for a breakfast and the food was OK. However upon leaving my mother asked the guy at the bar where the toilets were to which he sharply replied that they were for customers only (like you don't belong here). He then challenged her where she was sitting just to be 100 percent sure that she was actually a customer. Didn't apologise about the misunderstanding either.Won't be back if you have that attitude towards your customers."

"Music is ridiculously loud, and this place is understaffed. What staff there are were ok in the beginning, but seemed to quickly lose interest. Our cups and plates piled up until we asked 2 or 3 times for them to be removed. Our bottomless nachos indeed had a bottom, as we found it and no one ever came to refill. Sat there for 45 mins after finishing our food and weren't offered more drinks or the bill were just ignored. The bill came with a 30 quid service charge on it which given we'd had a dirty table for most of the night seemed a bit excitable. Pricey, passable food in small portions, inconsistent service, not enough staff and those who were there did not care that much."

"If you're looking for a decent British take on traditional Cali-Mex dining, this is as good a place to start as you'll find. We ordered nearly identical burrito in a bowl/box meals and it was definitely the right choice. The boxes were packed (see attached not so great pic) with delicious ingredients. We also ordered a selection of chips and dips, which were all good but none of the sauces were really meant for dipping but made great additions to the boxes. Highlights included the amount of food for the price, as mentioned the box was stuffed. The quality of the ingredients and taste were great. On the flip side, provision of sour cream was anemic and the grilled veggies could've been a bit more charred. Additionally, maybe I'm missing something but I've never had cucumbers included as a grilled veggie but they were a fine addition. The sauces could've been a bit more robust for the price (with chips), and a cheese or nacho sauce would've been a welcome inclusion or side. We'd happily order again."

"We love this place. Finding an independent Mexican restaurant anywhere is hard enough. Whenever we visit we make a special trip to come here. Staff are lovely and I always get the quesadillas. "Food was lovely and service was great. We were put downstairs which felt very unsafe. The handrail going downstairs was hanging off the wall with a handwritten sign above it saying broken handrail do not use why not just get it fixed) it had obviously been like this for some time! The tables are really crammed in and there is no fire escape downstairs that we could see certainly no signs if there was a fire anywhere in that restaurant and you are downstairs there is no way you would escape. It’s a shame as great staff and great food being let down by the upkeep of the restaurant"

"Yet another great visit to Blue Joanna! This restaurant has quickly become one of my absolute favourite restaurants in Norfolk. Atmosphere is spot on, really unique vibe which the place pulls off well; the staff are always friendly, helpful, explain how the menu works, and nothing is too much trouble. The menu choices are fantastic; really wide ranging choices that cater for pretty much anyone without being overwhelming. True mix of cuisines that they deliver with great taste and flavour. Everything is fresh, which you can see being cooked from the open kitchen. I’d recommend getting 4 dishes between 2 people, this always seems to work well for the portion sizes. Is truly some of the best tasting food I’ve had with some real creativity. Still cannot get over the prices in this place for what is some of the nicest food I’ve had, the prices sit below that of high street chain food easily."
