"The food was terrible - cold, burnt, and completely wrong. The person who answered the phone was rude and seemed to have a strange demeanor. They compulsively lied about everything. If you think this place is good, you must have incredibly low standards. I suggest checking out their hygiene ratings from the past three years - it's enough to make you believe they should be shut down."

"Just had a mixed kebab from this place from Uber eats . Absolutely dreadful . It was like plastic food . Dinner meat was tasteless plastic , chicken wasn’t like chicken , shish was shishless . Do your self a favour and go somewhere else . This was a £13.95 expensive bin liner . Major boak . "

"I recently updated my review after having over 15 takeaways from this restaurant, possibly more since my last review. In my opinion, this is still the best restaurant in the area. Their portions are generous and I always choose their tandoori specialties, such as the masaledar, Rogan Josh, and Jaipur dishes with large, properly marinated chicken tikka chunks. The sauces are fantastic and not just a generic mix with added bits - this is the real deal. My love for curry started 32 years ago in Glasgow at Lahore Tandoori restaurant under the central station bridge. Since then, I have been addicted to this delicious food. I recently started yelping and most of my reviews are 5 stars because I have tried many places over the years and now only go to the best ones. Natural Spice is a no-brainer if you live nearby, otherwise you can order from Just Eat. I recently celebrated Glasgow Curry Week by having curry every night, two of which were from this restaurant. Apologies for only reviewing 5-star places, as I have eaten at many lower-rated establishments in the past. As a food lover, I seek perfection with every meal and only choose the best now after wasting time and money exploring different options in Glasgow over the years."

"I visited this restaurant for the second time and had a pleasant lunch experience. The prices were reasonable and the service was personalized. Overall, it was good value for money."

"We went there for Sunday brunch to catch up with friends. I must give the place full marks for ambience and live jazz music. Setting is very pretty a mixture of modern western and Indian grandeur. Coming to food itself, drinks menu is very creative especially the way coconut water (currently very trendy) is exploited in various drinks. Starters had great variety -mix of Indian street food (pao bhaji, bhel puri, bhalla, dosa, tikki, paneer tikka, sheekh kebab etc and tasteful. Next comes the mains and that's where the place starts to falter. The lamb kofta was hard as golf balls while chicken xaccuti's chicken was cooked too much and was hard. Haryali fish was nice. "I have to start by saying how the staff are always smiling. They 're friendly and have some great recommendations. Moving onto the food, we ordered the chaat platter, chilli paneer and prawns from the tandoor clay oven. I was disappointed by the paani Puri it lacked the tang and explosion of taste you expect, instead it had a very bland and lacked flavour. However the rest of the items on the platter were absolutely fabulous!! Fresh, crunchy, tangy, tasty, flavourful. Everything you expect from a chaat platter. I could have ordered another 2 (without the paani Puri) The chilli paneer was one of the best I 've had! The tandoor clay oven prawns were perfectly cooked and had the right amount of 'tandoor ' taste however the marinate flavour was lacking. Mains veg Kolhapuri.... Oh my gosh!!!! No words can describe how amazing this was and how is it was possible to make veg taste like it did!!! It was absolutely divine!!! We ate it with garlic naan, that too was fab.. it was rolled to the right thinness and had the absolute perfect amount of garlic and butter!! An absolute treat. I should mention as we ate others sat around us on other tables just couldn 't stop complementing the foods they had ordered! So I 'm definitely going back to taste the other items! Desserts gulab jamun and pistachio kulfi ... At first glance the gulab jaman looked lost in the bowl it was presented in, the syrup was way too thin and the 2 balls were too small. However, the taste.... I don 't think I 've had better. Some improvement required in the presentation and with the syrup .. but the taste 5 5 .. amazing! The pistachio kulfi I expect frozen... But ... We couldn 't dig in... Waited almost 25 30mins for it to soften ... Once it did once again the taste was everything you expect... Another 5 5. However does require some thinking to ensure the customer doesn 't leave with a brain freeze instead of the flavoursome taste. We enjoyed multiple drinks including mango lassi, lemonade and mint tea all of which were fab.. even the mango lassi was the perfect consistency however it comes with ice which when melted affects the taste of the lassi (server should ask if the customer would like or not I wasn 't given an option) I 'm going back!! And I definitely recommend!!"

"We stumbled on this restaurant after a long hike. There isn’t any parking at the restaurant but we were advised to park in the pets world retail park and it was a 5 mins walk to the restaurant. Decor is simple nothing fancy. Staff were very friendly, attentive and social which makes a huge difference to the experience. Food was surprisingly good. We ordered channa puri and mixed grill for starters. For mains we had chicken jalfrezi, tandoori prawn masala with rice and naan. Lastly for dessert we had cardamom tea and kulfi ice cream. Our favourite was the channa puri, jalfrezi and the naan which was freshly made. The kulfi ice cream was a nice finish to the meal. The other dishes were okay but nothing really to write home about and we may be a little tougher considering this is our home food. We have made allowances for the fact the restaurant needs to cater for its locals such as sweetening up some of the dishes with cream and coconut. They also made space for my husband to pray which was a bonus. Unfortunately they do not take American Express but took debit card payments. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would come again."

"We loved our experience.. ordered less dishes for the number of patrons in our party(14) , based on previous reviews saying food was too much! We found that in fact the portions were well calculated and we could have indeed ordered a full portion for each person! Food was truly delicious ! Service was excellent … especially when we arrived with 14 pax rather than 10!! We will be back!! Thank you!"

"We went to Giftos last week. Due to ramzaan its jam packed at iftaar time. They dont take booking so the trick is to come minimum 20-25 mins early to get the table. They serve dates to break the fast. We called for few veg and non veg items I will give rating below. We were so hungry totally forgot to take photos Seekh kebab 3/5 Haleem 3.5/5 Matar Paneer 2.5/5 Paneer tikka 1/5 chicken karahi 3.5/5 Kulfi rabdri falooda 3/5 there was no rabdri and kulfi was ok in taste Not sure if the chefs were under pressure to make food at iftar time for so many tables. We found chkn Karahi bit oily. Over all the food was good. We will try once more once ramzan is over and if there is difference."

"Upon our arrival, we were seated in the bar area and promptly given menus and offered drinks. Our order, set menu A, was taken after a short wait. We were then escorted to our table and served poppadoms with a chutney tray within 5 minutes, which was a nice touch. The starters included onion bhajis, sheesh kebab, and a unique garlic chicken soup that was surprisingly tasty. For our main course, we enjoyed chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, pilau rice, and garlic naan, all of which were delicious and filling - definitely enough for two people! As part of the set menu, we were supposed to receive a coffee liqueur each, but it was not offered initially. Although there was a minor issue with the bill, it was quickly resolved (the waiter was new and not familiar with the set menu). However, when we requested the coffees, we were charged for them. Despite the small oversight, it was only a minimal amount so we decided to pay it without further ado. We would consider returning to this restaurant, but as always, it is important to double-check your bill before paying."

"I 've been here a few times. It 's a nice enough pub, with a good range of ales. The staff are friendly enough, and the drinks are decently priced. It 's always quite busy and popular among the locals. But I had a bit of a frustrating experience the other day. Me and a friend of mine were walking my dog. It began to rain so we decided to grab a drink somewhere whilst it settled down. We were near the grapes, so I whipped out my phone and googled whether dogs were allowed in the pub. Online it says a child and dog friendly pub... and that dogs [are] allowed inside . I thought brilliant, me and my mate can grab a quick pint whilst we wait for the rain to stop. We go in the pub. Nobody says a word or bats an eye lid. We buy our drinks and go to sit down. As soon as we sit down, the landlady comes over, and, very politely, says dogs are not allowed in the pub. I have no problem with this. A lot of pubs don 't allow dogs in because they can be noisy, dirty, and some people just don 't like dogs. It 's totally fair enough. But it was frustrating because it meant we then had to stand outside in the rain and the cold. The information online is clearly out of date and needs changing. I just thought I 'd do a review to give other dog walkers a heads up, and make the owners aware that the online information is incorrect. The pub itself though is nice enough though. I 'll definitely go again but next time I 'll have to leave the dog at home."

"Returned to celebrate Motherâs Day with the family in n response to the Mothers eat free offer. We had a great table in the raised area towards the rear of the restaurant. Service was excellent and the staff are courteous and friendly. We had two starters and four curries for main course with bread and rice. Each curry was well cooked and starters and accompaniments were of exceptional quality. We will return in the near future Iâm sure!!"
