"Have been a customer multiple times and enjoyed the food and prior to ordering I called ahead to ask how long it would be. I was informed it would be minutes, so proceeded with my order. I called two minutes later to change the order and express concern that my confirmation text said ETA minutes. Again, I was reassured that this was incorrect and was automatic because of the roadworks outside the restaurant. mins later I called to say I still hadn't received my order. The person who answered was the same person I had spoken to earlier and asked if I wanted to cancel. I expressed my displeasure at the time taken and highlighted that I had called ahead to avoid this precise scenario. I was lied to and when explaining why I was upset he said look, do you want your delivery or not He offered no token of compensation and was abrupt and confrontational. Advised a refund wouldn't be processed as he couldn't until one of the managers was in. He later said he was one of the managers and the refund would be with me in half an hour. Shocking manner and customer service, will not be returning."

"After a busy day last Sunday we thought a curry so to try delhi flavor as I am new in the opposite and like to use local restaurants where they are worth it. delhi flavour is worth a visit. the room was quiet. I guess that's normal for a Sunday night. the personal is friendly and efficient. the food was excellent. my partner would recommend the lamm madras as he eagerly shot the loose. he likes his curries hot and he said the lamb madras was certainly hot. I swallowed the chicken-shashlik that was beautiful. I love the fact that we could take our own drinks. it makes a great evening a little less expensive. although the prices in delhi aroma are excellent. we will certainly return to this place as often as we can. a large curry house in walking distance, happy us!"

"I 'm a lover of hot curries..and I mean really,really hot curries: A Vindaloo is mild to my palate,so I thought I 'd go one step up and order a Chicken Phall from City Spice. I 'm glad to say it didn 't disappoint. The Chicken was perfectly cooked;fibrous,generous,great texture and not at all like that rubbery,watery injected stuff. (as is customary in so many Indian restaurants these days).The sauce was to die for and had the perfect pureed consistency...cooked and roasted to perfection...Thank you Chef,you have a great palate.. The meal had the taste of a true 'BIR ' (British Indian Restaurant) in the same way I remember it from the 80 's, when we used to stagger home drunk and stop at the nearest Indian restaurant on the way home. The portions are very generous too.Don 't hesitate to order from City Spice. I find that the true benchmark for any Indian restaurant/takeaway is how well they cook their hot curries...If the really hot curries are good the rest of the menu will be outstanding. I 'll definitely be a regular customer here!"

"Good food...when it finally arrived. We've been here twice now as a family of four. Both times there were spare tables so the kitchen wasn't overwhelmed but the service was so so slow! We thought the first time was just a bad night but after a repeat performance we definitely won't be coming back. It took 1.5hrs for the mains to arrive and we had to ask where they were. Every other table had eaten their mains so the kitchen was literally just cooking our meal. When I asked where it was, the young man asked another member of staff but noone bothered to come and apologise or update us as to where our meals were. Such a shame, nice food but won't be going back."

"I ordered a takeaway on the and I’ve never been more disappointed. Firstly our food was all cold, I specifically choose an restaurant that’s not too far from my home (Less then miles away) so I do not expect to have to warm...my food in the microwave! My partner ordered a Chicken Tikka CHILLI Massala which is described as “hot and punchy” but the curry was bland and equivalent to a Korma! Mushroom rice, the Chilli Massala and the Aloo Gobi were all swimming in water and oil (I have added some photos to show this) We ordered a Garlic Naan but again this was freezing cold and was also rock hard, I couldn’t even cut it with a pizza cutter! I do not like leaving bad reviews at all. I have already phoned Spice Garden and tried to talk to them about our order but when explaining to them about our food they did not seem to care, no apology given at all. Extremely disappointing food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!"

After nearly two hours we called and were treated like we are scum and had the most unhelpful person ever. So no food, over forty pounds down and a very upset wife. "I am pleased to have discovered a traditional, unassuming Indian restaurant in London like Ruhits. It reminds me of the ones I used to visit growing up in Kenton, Harrow. I prefer this over fancy Indian cuisine. The balti butter chicken at Ruhits is delicious, with generous portions at a reasonable price. The seating is comfortable, not like uncomfortable wooden or wicker chairs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Ruhits."

"Having read some of the positive recent reviews I booked a table at this little restaurant for a pre concert dinner. Within a short walk of the Albert Hall it was ideally located. "I placed an order online through the restaurant's website using my Visa card processed by Worldpay. I received an email confirmation with the order number and estimated delivery time of 45-60 minutes around 7:06 pm. However, after waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes and making 17 unsuccessful phone calls, I decided to visit the restaurant. The owner claimed they didn't receive my order, despite me showing him the email receipts and screenshots. He rudely suggested I contact the bank and showed no willingness to help or apologize for the inconvenience. Despite my bank account being charged, the owner refused to take responsibility for the issue. I received no food and encountered unprofessional and rude behavior from the owner. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and seeking out other more hospitable options in Milton Keynes. Sizzling Grillz does not deserve even one star for their disgraceful conduct."

"We ate in here last night. It was early and clearly although the restaurant was empty, they were busy with takeaway trade. We had the Happy Hour menu and found the food to be attractively served and really very good. The waiters were smart and...friendly, making an effort to talk to us. We don't have hearty appetites these days and regretted not being able to finish our main courses. The waiter kindly allowed us to take the leftovers and packed it up nicely for us. It was just as nice today! Good luck to a very pleasant restaurant which turns out delicious food at very reasonable prices and has such pleasant staff."

"never had a bad one. always eat wonderful! we ordered very regularly during the shutdown. eating always comes hot and fresh and is delivered on time. our favourite dishes are tarka dansak (cut in nots) and say poneer with...runny cheese. the madras is excellent and tikka dishes always delicious. I also love the naga huh, but it's hot! the young in hasina also excellent ... it's still open to the business. the restaurant in the time renovated to open for mai highly recommended and I am very fussy!"

"I've eaten here a few times with my partner and always been blown away by the food, so for my birthday this year I thought I'd arrange a meal with some friends to share the deliciousness with loved ones. Big mistake. The restaurant clearly don't want to cater for large parties (there were 12 adults and 4 kids in our group . We booked an early table at 5pm to make this easier for the restaurant and free up the space for evening diners. From the moment of our arrival we were treated with utter contempt, bits of our order never turned up, drinks took ages to arrive. When it came to leaving, we were told we had underpaid by £25 but previously the waitress had said we had completely covered before I'd even paid my portion so the £25 I paid for my meal was essential the tip (way more than 10% . The hostile manager wouldn't let us leave and insisted we pay the missing money plus a tip. After we left we checked all our receipts (though most of us paid in cash , added them up and saw we had indeed been swindled. I am genuinely devastated because I have loved eating here until this point, but I won't be going back because of the way we were treated. If you are a solo diner or couple then please do visit because the food is absolutely out of this world, but if you are a large party please avoid the awful experience I was unfortunate to have at the hands of such a grumpy man completely devoid of human kindness (who really shouldn't be front of house ."

I asked for a substitution, and the answer was a quick no, it doesn't come as that I reacted to that I am aware, but I'm requesting a substitution of the same value; not a complete part of something else. what is the problem if you make this type of change exactly? but that was answered with a simple ok, this time, but not next time and when I asked again why the one problem was essentially the person not to wake up and hang up. overall not the best ordering experience. it would have been good to receive a reasonable answer, in particular one that proves that they take care of what their customers want."
