"With stylish presentation, delicately flavours and silky sauces, Kouchin's menu includes poplar curry house favourites, but its their ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ of unique dishes which catch the eye. Kouchin's ‘Dom Phukt’ cooking tradition dates back to the days of they Moghuls but with addition of modern panache. I'd recommend Grilled Seabass Fillet with roasted pickling spices £12.95; Tawa Duck Breast marinated in garlic, ginger, mustard, coriander honey then grilled on a tawa. Served with stir fried rice, noodles a medium spiced sauce for £11.95, in soft cheese saffron with a crunchy crisped skin, but succulent pink flesh £12.95; or the Lobster In Goan Masala of coconut, star aniseed for £25.95."

As non-spicy food lovers and vegetarians, we were pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant. We tried new dishes and enjoyed every bite. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the future.

On Wednesday night visited and it was very quiet. They have special offers on Tuesday, which apparently attract more people. Food was nice, but not remarkable, would have done with a little more heat. We shared chicken tikka and onion bhaji to begin, not to the main thing, but peshwari naan was beautiful.

Kouchin has no airs and graces, simple decor and is not in the centre of the flesh pots of Europe but boy is it good ! The food was superb, the interaction with the owner/manager really made it for us. Great recommendations of what goes with what and also what not to have meant that the final blend was just what we wanted. Well done Kouchin View menu

I went to the restaurant on a Wednesday evening and it was quite empty. I learned that they offer special deals on Tuesdays, which is when more people come in. The food was good, but not exceptional - it could have used a bit more spice. For starters, we shared chicken tikka and onion bhaji. I don't remember what we had for our main course, but the peshwari naan was delicious.

The food and service was great. The staff very attentive and all the customers received a complementary drink on the house and red rose for all the ladies. There was a mistake on our bill which I pointed out to the waiter. The manager apologised and took £7 off as a guesture of good will. The meal and service was so good though that we insisted on paying the bill as it should have been and left our ususal 10% tip. This was our first visit to the restaurant but many of the diners appeared to be regulars. We will certainly be going back in the very near future.

"Let's start with the positives. 1. The decor was nice, spacious and open 2. Service was professional 3. Prices were ok. 4.food portions were huge and food was hot Now the problems. 1. We were a family of 4 with a toddler sitting in the restaurant area. The food took quite a while to arrive. 2. The chips were hot on the outside but hard and undercooked on the inside. 3. We were sitting right by a flat screen tv which was off to begin with. The football came on and 5 flat screens including the one next to us was turned on and the sound up to full blast. We asked 3 members of staff to either turn the one in the restaurant off or turn the sound off, all agreed yet no one did anything. We and our toddler had to sit and eat our meal surrounded by 5 screens of loud football on, we were unable to have a conversation because it was too loud, the man on the table next to us had his hand down his pants, the loud shouting was making my toddler jump, the doors were all closed and no air con on,on a hot day, this was compleately inappropriate in the family food section. I feel we wernt listened to, there were 4 other screens by the bar showing the football, I had to resort to putting cotton wool in my ears, and the atmosphere was horrible, it was a total waste of money, eventually we abandoned our meal and walked out! Sorry but I wouldn't totally reccomend this pub for family eatting."

"During my recent visit to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, I had an absolutely delightful experience that went beyond my expectations. A significant highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Maryka, the mixologist. Her personable and kind demeanor added a special touch to the already wonderful atmosphere. Maryka crafted some truly unique and delicious drinks, including a special creation she has entered into an internal contest for Virgin Atlantic's upcoming anniversary. The creativity and taste of her drinks were outstanding, and I sincerely hope she wins! I also want to extend my appreciation to Ben and Anna, who were equally impressive in their roles. The teamwork and camaraderie among the staff were evident and contributed greatly to the welcoming environment. The culinary experience was top-notch, with the grilled salmon being a standout dish – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Additionally, the shower facilities deserve a special mention for their immaculate cleanliness. The high-quality soaps and soft towels provided a refreshing and rejuvenating break, especially appreciated during travel. Overall, my visit to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse was a memorable one, largely thanks to the fantastic staff and their attention to detail. It's these little touches that make a big difference in the travel experience. Kudos to the entire team for maintaining such high standards of service and quality."
