Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse

This lounge is amazing. It’s enormous so it doesn’t feel busy at all. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Food and drink choices are fabulous. Definitely the way to start a fantastic holiday!

Virgin still have the best lounges! Warm welcomes all around, fab breakfast. You can sit in a chill zone, or somewhere louder if you want. Visit the ‘garden’ on the roof. But please bring back the spa!

Fantastic facility best lounge I have been in by a long way first time flying with Virgin. Lost a point because check in opened at 5am for a 8 am flight and the lounge doesn’t open, even without any service, until 6am. The flag carriers lounge was open. View menu

We absolutely enjoyed our experience at the clubhouse. The staff were extremely attentive, allowing us to order either through them or by scanning the QR codes on the table. The drinks and food were both top-notch, and we were even tempted to hope for a delayed flight just so we could stay longer.

I knocked a star off because whilst its a decent space, attentive service and good quality food and drink, i find it baffling that we had an 8am flight that boarded just after 7am and this place doesnt open till 6am. Come on virgin, if you have early flights, its common courtesy to afford a reasonable lounge time!!

This is the best airport lounge at Heathrow, including the Concorde BA lounge, which we have visited many times (see my previous reviews). Everything - the food, service, and ambience - is outstanding. A special mention to the lovely Tina, whom we have known for several years and is a total credit to Virgin! Certainly spoils you once you have experienced this! Starting with the private pull-in for your taxi, staff seamlessly offload your luggage and a few steps and you are at check in. Then the private security line, arriving in the clubhouse literally minutes after you have got out of the taxi. A la carte breakfast, bucks fizz and ample space to relax make for the perfect way to start your holiday.

This was a rare treat prior to our flight to India. It is like walking into a different world! More a five star hotel feel. There are so many different seating/lounging areas depending on needs. We had a night flight so chose to have a drink and snacks. The staff are excellent! Chatty and accommodating. The champagne and food delicious. Facilities as you would expect, luxurious! We thought about our last Virgin trip when our flight was delayed and we were sitting in a grotty bar! Queuing for a grotty toilet! This place would be a pleasure to be delayed in but of course we were on time!

This is probably the best lounge at Heathrow. It offers a completely different experience compared to other flag carrier lounges. The staff are friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. The food and cocktails are great and can be ordered to your liking. The addition of a "garden" area is a nice touch. The only downside is that the lounge used to be even better. The massage spa, hairdresser, and child play area have all been removed, presumably to accommodate the increased number of passengers due to the Delta partnership. While it used to be a destination in itself, it is now just a very competent lounge with nice staff. View menu
