"we received a stellar treatment from jon, the manager, when we held a meeting with about 10 employees on Friday night. as busy as it was, we did not spend too much time in the bar waiting for our drinks that were well prepared. the food we demanded for (chips and chicken) was delicious, hot and full of taste. our table was reserved as planned, the personal was friendly and served us professional, and the place was kept generally clean. the glassware and the harness we used were quickly extinguished and the table was immediately deleted."

"booked by open table for 6.30 o'clock and 2 days later, the venue changed him to 8.15 o'clock this was on the popularity of eating out to help out promotion. we went with the change and arrived on time to start eating and then net went at 9 o'clock to order our dessert only to tell the kitchen locks about 9 o'clock. If we had known, we would have ordered our dessert with the others. if the restaurant can take a 3-course menu space at any time they offer, the customers must be informed. the manager was apologetic and offered a free round of drinks, so no total catastrophe only disappointing when they put their heart on a particular padded!"

"Great service from all the staff (we were served by at least four people) who were sociable and funny. Had the kale salad as was having a detox day, it was amazing and one of the best salads I’ve ever had, with loads of grilled chicken. "We had a reservation for 7 PM, but upon our arrival, we were informed that we needed to leave by 8 PM because we had children under 18 with us. This restriction was not communicated to us when we made the reservation. We settled in and thought we could make it work, but when we tried to use the online ordering system, we discovered that the steak was unavailable, and we couldn’t remove it from our order. As we attempted to correct this, the clock was ticking, and by 7:15 PM, we realized we wouldn’t have enough time to enjoy our evening. This led us to leave and try to find another place to eat, which proved to be quite difficult given the current circumstances. In the future, they should clearly communicate any time restrictions for families with children when booking online. I will not be making another reservation here."

"Unfortunately, my experience at the Slug and Lettuce was disappointing. The service was virtually nonexistent, and the quality of the food was very subpar. Our meals took a long time to be served, and we had to request both glasses and cutlery. Overall, it was quite appalling. Since we had to pay the full amount, including the service charge, before any food was delivered, there seems to be little motivation for the staff to uphold even basic standards. I would recommend opting for a fast food restaurant where you don't have expectations for service—it would be a better choice! This experience felt like a rip-off."

"a table in front of the arrival booked. the young man said that the restaurant was closed at midday and we could sit everywhere. Ony choice was high table and very low sitting. After waiting for 15 minutes for someone to ask what we want to drink, I had to contact the bar to ask if we had to order the bar. the young man apologised and said we were fucked around the corner, so we didn't know that we were there (he has!) another young man came by and apologized that he had to continue answering the phone! another fib when I watched her. Once the manager came, it was another story. very good service and attentive to our needs. manager was very chatting and made us appreciate. eating was absolutely amazing. we had tapas. only one daunt that the 2 young waiters/bar visitors leave the place at the beginning down. I could probably have gone out if we didn't know that No73 is so good in that."

"My flight got in late so I was desperate for an open kitchen on a Wednesday night at 9:50. Found my way to Slug Lettuce and was so thankful that they were happy to make me wings and chips 10 minutes prior to closing. "Lovely meal to be fair until it came to desert and we were told that we could have either a desert OR coffee and not both. We were disappointed as felt your advertisement mentioned both and also had a statement that anything could be ordered off the Al a cart menu. We were also asked to vacate our table when we had only just finished our main course as other people were waiting. There was no mention of this on arrival when this could have been better explained. It was rather chaotic on leaving with no one thanking us or saying good- bye"

Easy to order through the app, but the wait time seemed to vary, especially when it came to ordering drinks, we only had soft drinks, so I was unsure why. The family feast sharer was really nice, the S&L sharer, not so much."
