I am an international person living in the UK for 2 years now and I have used my BRP (BIOMETRIC RESIDENT PERMIT) the offical identity proof that UK gov gives to people for everything. The Derby S&L bouncer denied me entry because he said they don’t accept my ID proof? He looked like he was not sober and was so rude to me and my friend. Will never go to this place again it’s almost racist behaviour. Disappointed because clearly the team is not trained with their job and dont even know the most common identity proof that international students/residents have."

"Aweful experience...i reserved table 10 in advance...on arrival said table was occupied. The hostess invited us to sit any where...which defeats the purpose of reserving the table. The hostess indicated you had to order using the app....which we proceeded to do...after several attemps to pay via the app...we had to pay at the bar. The waiter did not take or cash the complete order....the service was sluggish ...the milk for tea)was spilled on reaching the table...see photo..it was never cleaned...the food was pitiful...not value for money...."

"Me and my fiancé visited this bar on Saturday. When standing for over min at the bar I have noticed that the bar men was serving people who joined after me. When I moved a bit further down he then just looked at me..., no hi , no sorry for your wait , not even what can I get you! Ive ordered a mohito and pinacolada where then he said point blank I can’t do mohito but I can pinacolada. I was a bit confused but it was so loud I couldn’t be bothered to ask why not so ordered something else. After an hour or so my fiancée went to the bar and stood in the same place where I did, again completely ignored for min he said to the barman why is he serving people who got there after him? He said we don’t serve anyone who is standing at the side. Mind you when we go there the reason we stood there is because there were girls before us getting their drinks from him. When questioned why didn’t he a knowledge us but instead ignored us? He started to getting aggressively shouting. He was the most miserable, unfriendly person I have ever been served by and on top rude! I don’t know his name but he was pretty short, short light hair with a bold patch and foreign accent. I will be taking this matter further until someone tells me why is he allowed to treat your customers this way!"

"Heard so many good reviews about Quays gastro bar in portrush so called in on a Friday around 7.00pm. It was quite busy with holiday families however we had a short wait in the beer garden which was very pleasant and had a beer during our wait for restaurant. The restaurant itself was in contrast to the beer garden was very dark in fact the walls were painted black and ambiance not great for a dining experience (we would have been happy sitting in the enclosed section of the beer garden) The meal itself was fair to poor, my rump steak texture was not like it should be I had the feeling it was put through some sort of tenderising process and not great like a good steak freshly cooked should be, garlic fries were just ok. My wife chicken strips coated in breadcrumbs the coating so salty she could not eat them, I am more salt tolerant but they were so salty I could not eat them either. We are not people who complain and the staff were very pleasant and I did leave a tip. So Quays I have to say huge disappointment and will not return."

"itsu is a fast casual restaurant with a slightly higher feeling, but with reasonable trips. the menu is Asian inspired and seems to be more engraved in Japanese. the vegan offers of itsu have expanded considerably in the course of the years to include some delicious offers that are all marked on the menu and on the food packaging. the detox miso noodle soup is still one of my favorite (and it is low calorie) but sometimes it can be too much psychtang (depending on who does it). my new favorite menus include the veggie dragon roll (complete with vegan mayo the veggie meatballs coconut soup and the veggie gyoza n bowloodle. there are many additional vegan and vegetarian options offered not in my review that are also worth trying. as already mentioned, everything is marked on the menu and on the packaging. most employees seem pretty conscious and worth knowing for vegan options (a more common and accepted diet in Britain) for the case that they have asked to have ingredients menu elements. (I personally would rate this a 3.5 because it is a chain, but it pushes up to 4 because the half-value ratings are not allowed and this is actually a nice, higher quality and healthy food option"

"Upon entering this lovely restaurant, our dining experience was exceptional. We enjoyed the buffet and had a delicious meal. The service was outstanding, with a friendly and welcoming staff. Although they do not have a liquor license yet, it was easy to run across the road to Scotmid for a bottle of red wine. "Went for the bottomless brunch (4 girls). It was brilliant. £33 each and the drinks just keep flowing. Food was really good and very filling. Staff were so friendly and service was quick! Lily was our server, kept checking on us for drinks and they never ran dry. Cocktails were being made by Liam and Jamie who were also really friendly and just kept them coming. "My niece traveled to Glasgow from Basingstoke for her bachelorette party. We had reserved a 'VIP' area at another bar, which was supposed to include 5 drinks, but they were unaware of this and were quite unpleasant and rude about it. Two of the party guests went to Missoula to see if they could reserve a table and the staff there were incredibly accommodating. They saved a table for us and even brought over confetti bombs, sparklers, and a glass of champagne for the bride-to-be as soon as we arrived. The staff at Missoula took great care of us and were very friendly and welcoming. This was my first visit to Missoula since before lockdown, and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend Missoula for anyone planning a bachelorette party."

"The staff were wonderful, and the restaurant was bustling, with only one empty table available. We had a bit of trouble explaining celiac disease and initially chose a meal that we were later told would be missing two sides. However, those sides weren't actually needed, as there was plenty of food, and everything tasted fantastic. The restaurant stayed busy throughout the evening, and the menu was extensive. Overall, it was a lovely night out."
