"I went here with my gf for mum, I really enjoyed it and it seems dona good trade supply food to all the demand I saw to eat a series of chaps. the dimme sum was freshly tasting, it was very tasty and I sometimes underestimated how temperature hot it would be and I had to wait until I had to cool down. I'm from hongkong and I was impressed with the food. the ribs had a beautiful sauce they had in their mouth tender flesh. the siu mai well made and freshly made. the crispy pork bauchnabel bao was beautiful because the skin was so delicious and crispy in a white bao. the sweet fish cakes were so pleasant I ordered two plates. the dizzying dumplings were very well filled. they had nothing sweet, which I would recommend, because the fried milk bars were not on camp. excellent service the ladies there were so beautiful and polite. they made sure we were good at lunch. "We stayed in Colchester last year and eat at Chinatown, we were impressed by the superb food and the friendly service. We returned to Colchester for a concert and immediately decided that we had to try Chinatown again, we were not disappointed. We chose different items from the menu this time and still found the food to be high quality and very tasty. "the firefighter offers a spicy alternative to the otherwise bare and blanching alternatives in and around milbank towers. I just tried the food offers. the idea was to try every combination. now, I find the meal offers the best value for money in the restaurant. just letting was the huh teriyaki it was sweeter than usual. food 3.5/5 service 4/5 ambiente 3/5 the seat is comfortable, but the interiors are too dark for my pleasure. "I wanted to have Thai food with my daughter. Both of us had spent a while in Thailand and really enjoyed the cuisine. My daughter wanted to try it, but she didn't really enjoy it. The food was good, but the overall experience was not. I asked a young girl if we could use the restroom, but the waitress rudely said no. I felt embarrassed for the girl, as Thais are usually more welcoming. Our meal was good, but my daughter lost her appetite after that incident. When we asked to take the rest of our meal home, we were charged an extra £1 for a take-out box, which surprised me as we were in Finchley, not the West End. There were no hand drying facilities in the restroom, and when I mentioned this to the waitress, she was rude. We paid the bill, did not leave a tip, and were charged an additional £2 for the take-out box. It was a disappointing evening and we will not be returning. Mai ow."

"We had a reservation for 4 people on a Saturday evening. Since we arrived early, we decided to grab a coffee at the bar located on the ground floor, opposite the reception desk. The restaurant itself is on the first floor and we immediately noticed that it was quite empty. It seemed like the hotel guests were venturing out to other dining options in Knightsbridge, which has no shortage of restaurants. The restaurant has an open plan layout with suitable decor and lighting for a cozy and intimate evening. It became apparent that they were short-staffed that night, which resulted in a slight delay in the service. However, the staff were pleasant and attentive. For starters, we ordered Squid in salt and pepper and chicken dumplings. Both dishes were tasty, with the squid cooked perfectly. The sauce accompanying the chicken dumplings was a bit too salty and vinegary, but the dumplings themselves were good. For the main course, we had Chicken with ginger and spring onion, sweet and sour pork, prawns in black bean sauce, and egg fried rice. All the dishes were flavorful, with perfectly cooked prawns and tender chicken. For dessert, we tried the apple tart and Sago pudding with chilled mango pieces in a light mango sauce. They were both delicious and capped off a pleasant evening. We didn't feel rushed at all and ended up staying for quite a while after our meal. Overall, we had a lovely and peaceful evening and will definitely return to this restaurant in the future."

"The Skylark is situated in a great location for a meal before a night out in Croydon. However, the atmosphere is not exactly upscale; I would even say it is family-friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky to find, so walking or taking the bus is a good option for locals. The food options often include a free beer, which is a nice touch. Many people rave about the fish and chips, but I haven't tried it yet as it seems quite heavy. I am, however, a big fan of the decent BBQ hot dog."

"The food was incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, when we visited on Friday evening around 7 PM, they had run out of roasted duck, which was disappointing since we were eager to try it. We did try the beef, which was fantastic. However, the noodles served as a side were overly salty and rich, which overshadowed the beef. The portions were quite large; we could barely finish half of the noodles between the two of us. Also, at over £9, we felt that the noodles were quite expensive."

"great atmosphere, delicious food, helpful staff. we really enjoyed this place, the owners recommended were the best. the ribs were excellent. we all had noodles of different kind, he even changed a menu item to meet our request! missing on the Korean barbq, but we will be back in the mai when it starts again. the main entrance is flat and accessible, the second door could open for a wheelchair if necessary. it is obviously a well-used device and they can say it. it could have been a little cleaner, with more carefree in general, therefore the missing 5th star from this review. otherwise a great place. had no chance to taste the cocktails or the wineable, but that only means we're coming back!"
