"I was threatened and abused for asking to speak to the owner. They told me they didn't know his number. I was sworn at multiple times. And laughed at. This is the only Chinese takeaway I order from. I have never had an issue till this time. I'm contacting an ombudsman to deal with them. Service minus 10. Food has always been top notch until my last order. I have never been treated like this by any takeaway. Hung up on, laughed at and sworn at by multiple members of staff. I'm truly disappointed"

I particularly appreciate the clear and friendly service provided by the woman who answers the phone. She makes ordering a pleasant and efficient experience, which is important to me as I can get impatient with phone conversations. There have been times when I have requested special dishes and she has always been accommodating and helpful. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and I am always satisfied with my takeout orders from Rainbow Garden. "after 45 minutes still had not received food or drink (coke nothing fancy) whilst all tables around had received food and drink even though we ordered way before them. Had to get up and remind the waiter of our existence. We then got our drinks and 1 item of food .. they then bring us the wrong meal and claim they had a technical issue and had to retake our order after 1 hour. We order our dessert as well so they have time to get this sorted. Whilst waiting for our food still they decide to bring us 1 dessert which we send back. They then tell us our order which I placed over an hour ago is actually out of stock. I say can we just have dessert so we can leave. They come back and say the dessert is out of stock. Terrible experience. The two starters we had where nice. They had to nerve to come over and ask how our meal was whilst we ate chicken wings. Left hungry !"

"We only had to take a short drive from the A1 to reach this charming countryside pub, where we were greeted with an open fireplace and friendly smiles. The option to dine in either the bar or restaurant areas was fantastic, and the food was delicious! There was a great selection of gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu. Never ever experienced such an abysmal interior from the carpets to the chairs to the decor if you could call it that was TACKY THREADBARE AND DIRTY , then came the food it was all takeaway so the special fried rice was off white with tiniest amount of egg then noodles no taste whatsoever with nothing , the salt an pepper chicken was that tough it was completely inedible, the glutinous mess that was pieces of 2 inch thick FAT with a sliver of pork on NO TASTE not one bit was without doubt the worst Chinese takeaway I have had in my life , totally disgusted should be shut down !!"

"We were in London for a few days and we were really looking forward to eating in this restaurant. I had been previously many many years ago but not with my family. On arrival, we were ‘greeted’ by this sour bunch of three ladies, one who confirmed our reservation, one who took our coats and one who showed us to the table. We were put off by this but we were looking forward to our meal so we simply ignored this. Once we saw the exorbitant menu prices (around £29 per dish), we decided to just order a main course only to be asked by the waitress, “is that it? That’s all you are going to order?” What we decide to order is our choice and do not expect to be ‘judged’ by a waitress! Again, we decided to ‘brush this off’ and ordered our meal. To describe this as a ‘meal’ is an understatement! The chicken in black bean sauce had maybe 6 small pieces of chicken, perhaps 50g at most. This was spongy and with no texture at all. I can honestly say that if I ate it blindfolded I would never guess that it was chicken! The spare ribs came absolutely drowned in a thick gloopy sauce and the meat was like a rubber boot and again with not enough to feed a kitten and the fried rice was way undercooked and hard. At this point I had had enough and decided to ask for the owner/manager. Two or three servers came in turn before the actual owner decided to grace us with his presence. At no point did I raise my voice as I had no intention of disturbing other diners. The owner, Norman his name was berated us in a loud voice that he had over 40 years experience in the restaurant business and that no one had ever complained about his food and that he only served prime cuts. He also said that this was kosher food and that we had no idea what kosher food was all about!! We eat kosher at home and when we eat out and he had no right whatsoever to judge us like this! All the other customers were now staring at us making the situation highly embarrassing to say the least! HE then literally threw us out of the restaurant. Looking at the reviews here on Tripadvisor I can clearly see that other people HAVE complained and rightly so, and shared similar experiences to ours. Norman, if you ever read this (and I think you should) please take heed. I will post this review on Tripadvisor and on all Kosher restaurant review sites I can find! Shame on you and shame on your establishment!"

"I hadn't visited this restaurant in a while because the staff had become unfriendly, but I decided to give it another chance yesterday because the food has always been excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there was new management in place. The young women running the restaurant were very welcoming to all customers and always willing to help other staff members. Despite knowing how stressful the industry can be, the staff were attentive and professional. The food was even better than I remembered, and was the perfect way to end a long week. Although I didn't get a chance to thank the staff, I did compliment the chef, who smiled in response. Overall, I felt welcomed and delighted with the atmosphere, service, and food. I am happy to know that I can return to this restaurant regularly once again."

"I advised the staff that I had corona virus and put this on my delivery notes and the guy still turns up to the front door leaving a 20cm distance. When i told them they didnt include items on the menu they told me i was wrong even though i was reading off their website. They then realised I wasnt lying and insisted the only was i would get a refund was if they picked up the order but as i told them already i have corona she litterally said It doesnt matter and i dont care thats our problem so she is putting people at risk by her negligence. DONT order here for your own safety. Have been a regular customer for a while but im gobsmacked by their response and attitude."
