"Went here towards the end of July on a date with my girlfriend. She had never tried Indo/Chinese food before, and I am huge fan so I was excited to bring her somewhere where it seemed to look great online. It did not disappoint, I was a bit apprehensive reading the reviews before I went as there were so many bad, but I am so happy this didn't put me off, if you're looking for more traditional Indian food, this isn't the restaurant for you (although they do have a few options. The only reason this didn't get a full five stars, because although the strawberry mojito was perfect in taste, the mint used for garnish was dying and it didn't look very nice. The garnish should always be fresh. However, I will reinstate the cocktail was delicious! We definitely over ordered, however we were able to take the rest that we didn't finish home so win win! Things that we ordered : Manchow Soup with chicken (this was my girlfriends favourite, its sooo tasty! Salt and Pepper Okra, Kuna Pao Potato (this is my personal favourite!! Kung Pao Chicken, Tai Pai Prawn, Veg Hakka Noodles, Vegetable Rice. I really wanted to ordered Chicken Lollipops as I have had these before and I love them, however I couldn't finish what we had already order let alone ordering more. I really enjoyed the food, even if I did finish a bottle of water because of the spice, spicy but an enjoyable spice. I will 100% be back again, as this has fully lived up to my expectations and I am excited to have more friends try the food. They got busier towards the end with big tables, and lots of telephone orders."

"This is my favourite place to eat in Malton, I a friend regularly have takeaway drinks lunches, mainly either, soup, sandwiches, wraps, paninis or salads. All are freshly made delicious very reasonably priced. Malton has a wide variety of cafes coffee shopsto chose from but the stand out feature that draws us back to the Patisserie is not only high quality food but the friendly, efficient staff who always make us feel so welcome. Although less often, we occaisionally sit in in the cafe which provides the same first class service products. There is also a well stocked shop with a wide variety of lovely biscuits, cakes, preserves drinks which can be made into hampers. The delights of this little Malton gem are too numerous to mention."

"My husband and son and I decided to stop here for lunch one Monday. We arrived just after 12pm. Sat down, had our drinks and food order taken and my little boy needed to use the toilet. My husband took him to the public toilets which to his utter disgust where completely blocked and disgustingly dirty. He then tried to take him to the restaurant toilets and they where pretty much the same! Could not use them. He alerted a member of staff and it wasn’t even acknowledged and I took him to the female restaurant toilets which where not as bad but had definitely not been cleaned. We again spoke to what was meant to be a young girl duty manager. Her response was oh the cleaners mustn’t have been in?? Seriously? Is there not checks done before opening? If environmental health had of shown up they would have been shut down. We only ate our food because we had already ordered. My husband decided to email to advise of the dirty standards and never got a response, hence now the review. Absolute disgrace. Standards have dropped massively."

"I visited this restaurant 10 years ago and had a wonderful experience. However, my recent visit was disappointing. The service was abrupt and unfriendly, which was the best part of the meal. The popadoms and dips were okay, but lacked flavor. The salmon starter was overcooked and bland, while the Tikka Dhahi Daghie main was the worst curry I have ever had - tasteless and bland. The rice was overdone and congealed, making it inedible. Despite leaving most of our mains untouched, the staff did not inquire about our dissatisfaction and promptly left. This was a disappointing experience, especially after recommending the restaurant to my partner. I won't be returning and I suggest you avoid it as well."

"I have been visiting this restaurant for some time now and I just have to write a review. The entire meal was perfect - the gammon and pork are always juicy with no fat at all, the cauliflower cheese is fantastic, and the service is instant when we sit down. The Wingfield Arms is also a great place to hang out with friends. I would give it a 10 out of 10 rating."

"I don't usually read previous reports before composing my thoughts on any place I have visited but I made an exception here and I have to say I'm dumfounded by the recent negative reviews of this restaurant.Personally, I found it amazing. Indeed, the fayre was top notch, as was the service. We were a group of and we had a fabulous time.Yes, it is pricey and not somewhere most people could afford to patronise every week but for a special occasion it is the bees knees. Will stay in the memory for a long time."

"large space, good size, reasonable price it was a good place and warm inside. the girl that served us was also so friendly and smiling. good! they offered to the local singapur, korean, malaysian and other Asian beer. but they had not bintang (indonesian beer,) known for Indonesian tourist (bali, lombok, etc.) and Australian. they also put bakso and satay as Malaysian food instead of traditional Indonesian food. the price was surprised because it was so much cheaper than the other Asian restaurant. taste was okay. everywhere this restaurant is authentic but not excellent."

"Every year we go on holiday to the Peak District and our first meal out is always at The Shalimar. Everything about this restaurant is amazing, they have a real passion for the food they serve, always tasy dishes and generous portions. They are professional, friendly and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is cosy. We can't wait for our holiday next year so that we can come back! Food: 5"

"The staff are truly awesome, in just one visit I interacted with at least or of them who really went above and beyond to ensure I was well looked after. I sat outside because the inside was fully booked, and they really went to great lengths to ensure I was warm comfy. The incredible part was the value for money as I had a pleasant surprise when the bill came. The chicken on the burger was the size of a large fish! I was so full I couldn't eat it all, and they gave me container to take it away. They fixed my hangover and without stating the obvious, a hangover in Glasgow always requires special care when you're used to drinking elsewhere. I can't wait to go back to this very welcoming establishment when I'm back in town!"

"The delivery was on time and the food was still hot when it arrived. The portions were generous and we were all satisfied with our meals. Overall, we had a great experience with "Wraps & Wings" and will definitely be ordering from them again in the future."

"for a fast eating sushi place this is not bad. many sitting and eating hot. but. the fresh sushi selection when I came in was a little on the bare side and the amount of fish they get in the hosomaki (sushi roll) is quite small. there was also practically no plucked ingwer in the box. the price is about average when you turn to the higher end, but this is with all the kokomos I visited. the personal, where very helpful for all customers near me and offered the people a rehearsal to try the spiciness of the food."

"We have been lunching at this pub off and on for years and in the past have enjoyed the food, but June 8th was not a good experience. I think the Roast pork, with apple sauce on ciabatta and fries from the specials board is actually the worst thing we have ever been served with anywhere, ever! Not sure if it was the last of the pork as it disappeared off the specials board whilst we were there) but it was beyond awful. Two slices of pork but so much fat and inedible gristle ! and why was the ciabatta toasted until it was black? Served on a very small plate with a little salad, there was insufficient space to remove the fat and gristle without the other bits falling off the edge of the plate. We don’t complain, but if anyone had bothered to ask how it was I would have said, we would never order this again, or recommend it understatement) but the girl clearing the table never asked, despite all the fat and gristle from the two portions being piled up and very visible, so I guess a review is the next best thing. It is a very reasonably priced establishment, but we would happily pay more for better quality, and it may be some time before we return."

"This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Tobermory. The food was fantastic (we had four servings of mussels and a ham sandwich), and the service was warm and friendly. The prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. If you're in Tobermory, this place is a must-visit. As for kid-friendliness, my children are teenagers, so it wasn’t something we needed to consider, but I did notice that the bathroom had excellent baby changing facilities. We enjoyed a lovely lunch here."

"A rather long wait one is forewarned on the menu , but eventually, very good food arrived. The owner ? not very engaging. Living in Bali I thought he might have something to say about Thailand, but he did not seem keen to engage in a conversation, however short. Oh well, end of season exhaustion?..but the son ? more concerned and apologised for the long wait.... the Thai ? lady in the kitchen gave me a big, genuine, smile when I stuck my head round the kitchen door on the way out and thanked her for the spicy food, just-as-we-like-it, and she reminded me of service back home in Bali . Had the food come a little quicker, I would have given 5 stars. I'd go again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"

"This pub has a wonderfully friendly vibe and an inviting atmosphere. There's a game corner filled with plenty of board games, Jenga, cards, and other fun activities for kids. The music played throughout the night is fantastic, primarily featuring Motown from the '60s to the '90s. The staff were excellent with the children, and the pints were of high quality! The place is also very clean and welcoming. Overall, I would rate the service and atmosphere both a perfect 5."

"we went for an dinner of 5:30 to leave 7 for a concert. the waiter who sat on us was very welcoming and asked if we know Nepalese food we were ignorant and he was pleased to be able to imagine. he noticed our different levels of chili tolerance, and our common meat intolerance, taken into account in the mixed plate of -um art by ravioli with a sesame flavored dip or a chili sauce. they were melted in the mouth beautifu. we also ordered the very Nepali speciality of puffed rice think soft popcorn with spices and crawls, no sose as further starters before our two nets of auberginen, ocra accompanied by rice and roti (chappatis . the auberginen in their gravur) were so delicious we ordered a second dish. but the swollen rice was a disappointment for both of us something too spicy and salty, with an unknown taste I really did not like. the waiter fulfilled our hope to be around 7 and without obvious haste or panic on both sides. the bill was about £60 including 600cl beer and a glass wee, and I would go again."
