"A hidden gem, incredibly easy to get to but feels a world apart. A very classy renovation of an old estate into a modern hospitality venue, with excellent food and service to match. We visited for my Mum’s birthday celebration and it felt very special indeed. My single disappointment is that the waiters were still wearing masks, which I personally feel diminishes the humanity of service, and is not necessary. Otherwise, top top marks"

"the hotel was absolutely perfect in any view. the only side was loud construction work outside our room, we were right next to the scaffold and the drilling. my enkelin complained when the holes went on to 5. the personal offered to move us into another room, but we had all started preparing at this point so it was not an option. they surprised us with a beautiful dinner of cheese bus kites and dived left in our room and very appreciated after drowning in the amount on the way back from adele concert. everything else perfect the personal, bar, eating and spa facilities very comfortable stay."

"We had an early dinner at Cote and ate from the set menu, the starters were fine and the service at that stage was ok, we waited 15 minutes for the starter plates to be removed and then another 5 minutes for the main courses to be served, it was blatantly obvious that both meals had sat on the pass for a long time under lights, the sea bass skin had frazzled and the chicken was difficult to cut, we were offered 2 free drinks and the meals replaced, there were only 4 customers in the restaraunt at that time but the staff were having a good time in the bar area with lots of laughter while we had to go and get them to complain, stay clear dont reward poor service and poor decision making in sending out substandard food to a clients table RUBBISH"

"Booked fairly last minute and got a table for 4. We ordered 2 x chicken burgers, 1 x steak and carbonara with garlic bread. Food was really nice to be fair! No option for peppercorn sauce BUT it’s an Italian so can’t be expected. Dessert we had brownies and fondant, really nice can’t be faulted. Didn’t catch our waitresses name, but she was blonde and pregnant so nice, really kind and welcoming to us. Good value for money, for a drink each; meal each (including steak) two sides and 4 desserts £150. Can’t fault it."

"The last two times we have visited, we have have had to wait over 45 minutes for food. First time because there was only one chef (and, to be fair, we were warned about this and restricted choices on arrival). Last Saturday, it was because 'unexpected numbers arrived '. But it was a) a match day at Etihad Stadium (most of people there were, like us City Fans) and b) the weekend after a rail strike. Both of these events could have been planned for. We used to love coming to Carluccios before matches, lovely staff, good staff and good service. Now we are seriously considering making other arrangements. And you STILL haven 't sorted out the plumbing. Gents loos have been out of action for weeks now. Can 't recommend you now, I 'm afraid."

"One of the first things I check for when organizing a trip to a new bar is the variety of wines available by the glass, which all too often is a poor thing indeed. I’ve had a thing for Ruinart for a long while now, but there are so few people I meet who enjoy Champagne enough to splurge on it by the bottle and, until it closed last week, Rex and Mariano was one of the few places that understood my inner struggle and offered flutes of Ruinart Brut. I’ve not had any luck since then, but in a fortuitous turn of events it is while organizing a drinks meet up that I come across The Booking Office in The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel with its enviable glasses of both Ruinart and Veuve Cliquot, two Champagnes who share a similar flavour profile of buttery brioche, vanilla and white fruits. With a reservation going at the perfect time on the perfect night, this is too good a find to let pass."

"This is a wonderful place to enjoy a quick meal. Families are welcome, and the service is excellent. The staff is very accommodating and the food is served promptly. It has been a while since I last visited Nando's, but I will definitely be coming back more often as the food was delicious. The prices are very competitive and you get good value for your money compared to other restaurants. Parking is convenient, and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The best part was the free refills on soft drinks, which is a great idea and money saver for families with children. Overall, we had a great experience! Thank you, Nando's!"

"It was great to see Eluert W recognize us after such a long time. He made us feel welcome and provided excellent service. We had a wonderful meal, reminiscent of Carluccio’s. It was also a nice touch that we could take advantage of the 50% discount currently offered to loyal customers. We enjoyed the chicken saltimbocca, beef ragu pappardelle, and limoncello tart."

"I had lunch here at the weekend with 6 members of my family, and 4 of us are vegan. We chose this restaurant because it has “vegan” options. When we asked about the vegan burger and chips, we were told that the chips are cooked in the same oil as meat, so they are not vegan. I found this quite concerning, as I couldn’t trust the menu after that. The manager was very polite about it, and she assured us that the menu would be changed, which I really hope it is. "It was New Year’s Day , we went at 5pm we was the only customer in the restaurant. We expected the food to be outstanding because we was the only customer . However it wasn’t ! The calamari was over done and rubbery , the mozzarella garlic bread, the bread wasn’t even toasted. Like eating bread with melted cheese . We both had a carbonara and it was like pasta with scrambled egg and the pancetta was so burnt my partner actually chocked because he got it stuck in his throat . We also tried to order drinks but had limited choice as they had nothing in , the manager explained they hadn’t done the drinks order yet ! So a lovely date night ended in an adventurous coke and ice . The staff also kept starring at us and pacing around like they wanted us to go . Really bad experience. Wouldn’t recommend"

"Nothing like as good as it used to be. One main course had to be sent back because it was cold. I chose the same as I used to have ie just a side dish of spinach and a side dish of sautéed potatoes. The potatoes had obviously been reheated and I couldn’t taste the herbs at all and the spinach was just wilted spinach with none of the flavourings it used to have and both these dishes were half the size they used to be. Won’t be going again which is a shame because we used to always go there when meeting up."
