"Orestone Manor failed to mention they were closed on their open table page and when they phoned to tell me they were, in fact, closed they were not particularly apologetic. In addition, the didn't seem to change their settings on the online booking sites so more people are likely to be let down in a similar manner. Their food might be nice but I shan't try to book again for fear of being let down last-minute in a similar manner."

"Charlotte’s Place is a charming restaurant with 54 seats, located in a 150-year-old house at the corner of Ealing Common. Founded by Charlotte Kearns and her husband, the restaurant has been successful in its peaceful setting since July 2005. The ambiance is cozy, intimate, modern, and elegant, offering a traditional British/European menu with high-quality seasonal ingredients. Recently awarded with The Good Food Guide’s London Restaurant of the Year 2013 and holding 2 AA rosettes, the restaurant's reputation is well-deserved. The staff is friendly and accommodating, willing to customize the menu to suit personal preferences. I was highly impressed with my lunch and wanted to know more about the current Head Chef, Greg."

"I stopped by for a quick meal before the Athletics World Championships, knowing that Westfield would be crowded, and I was pleasantly surprised by the great deal we found. The restaurant is quirky and interesting, with a nice location. The staff were friendly, especially Shane who greeted us. My brother and I enjoyed craft beer, while my daughter had a mocktail. We enjoyed some delicious Guinness bread with salted butter before digging into deer and sirloin steaks, which were all cooked perfectly. The prices were already reasonable at around £15 for a main course, but we were thrilled to discover that everything was half price since we dined between 5 and 6pm. Our total bill, including service, came out to under £40! Even without the discount, I would highly recommend this place for a relaxed lunch or dinner. I'm actually planning to return tomorrow since I have more tickets for the Athletics."

"this cozy restaurant offers them a lot of fantastically arranged and a five-star service. I was there for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! the food is very tasty and very presented and I can say that the ingredients are very fresh. fabio and the other staff are professional and very friendly and provide a first-class service. it is worth trying their fried corgettes as well as the gamberoni and of course their pizza, which is only divine! I will definitely go back and try some new antipasti and pasta dishes. the menu has many fabulous options too difficult to choose! highly recommended!"

"London isn't the best city for Rooftop bars, firstly it isn't that pretty to look at, particularly East London, but mostly it's because the weather is awful and unpredictable. On a freezing September night I find myself at the Boundary Rooftop wrapped in two woolen blankets eating dinner, this may have influenced my whole experience. Starters: King prawns (advertised as Langoustines) have a nice BBQ flavour to them, served with mayo, yawn. The Nicoise salad is disappointing, dry flavourless tuna accompanied by just as bland olives and tomatoes with barely any vinaigrette. Main: Steak with bone marrow and chips, the steak and chips are acceptable, the bone marrow is not, it's over seasoned...read more"

"The waiter was very rude and seemed uninterested in serving us. Every time we asked for another drink, it seemed to bother him. He even blew on our water glasses before filling them up. Despite the poor service, the starters of oysters and grilled lobster were superb. However, the main dish was disappointing and bland. Overall, the experience was lacking in flavor and quality."

"We had a terrible lunch half of the menu was not available and instead of telling this to us up front so that we could make a decision as to whether or not we wanted to go somewhere else, the waitress ‘drip fed’ the dishes that were off menu, letting us order an expensive bottle of wine. In the end we had to leave as there was nothing available. Shocking service, the restaurant should either have closed due to lack of food or rung me in the morning to explain the situation so that I could make alternative arrangements. Won’t be going back."

"Really good food! I'm a BBQ chef back home so I really appreciate well seasoned and well cooked meat that's exactly what we got at the Cow Pig! Great flavour, well impressed! The poor lad working that evening (4th Oct) was on his own but still did an amazing job and kept smiling. Great decor, great service and fantastic food Thanks! Service: Dine in"

"The interior of Edwin's is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The menu is diverse, with options ranging from traditional British dishes to more exotic fare. On my most recent visit, I opted for the steak and ale pie, which was absolutely delicious. The pastry was perfectly flaky and the filling was hearty and satisfying. The service at Edwin's is always top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making sure I have everything I need. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Edwin's for a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere."

"Seriously disappointed!! We used to go to Steak Co almost every week. God! We went to the rebranded one “steak and company”. A total disaster this place has turned out to be now. The food isn’t the same anymore, the whole menu is changed and even the few ones they still do like the broccoli isn’t the same, the peppercorn sauce isn’t good at all. The staff and service were amazing. I will never go back to this restaurant ever again nor recommend it to anyone. Oh and it’s so overpriced now."

"The food was good and decor was beautiful but customer service makes a big difference which was totally missing. After the food, we were left without drinks and water for over 40min. After asking a few times they brought more drinks menu when we already had one but noone came to take our order. Forget about checking on their own they didn't bring water when asked to. Gave us our food and forgotten. Waiters kept walking past you ignoring if you are waving or calling, we had to literally get up and go to get someone only to get no service in return. Our table was left with empty/dirty cups and glasses for ages. This was the situation when it wasn't even busy. After waiting for ages, we decided to just pay at the counter and leave. On explaining why we want to pay and leave much earlier than planned, the lady didn't even apologies just billed us with additional optional 10% service charge (which wasn't there) without even asking. The waiting staff was just useless, not friendly and attentive at all. Noone even smiled while talking to customers. Looking at the menu and decor, we wanted to come back again as we sat down but our opinion changed in a matter of 1.5hr. Not going back or going to recommend anyone to go there either. There are far too many places in Leeds with good food and great service."

"When I moved two years ago around Smithfield market I didn't know I chose the best area for a Southwestern French girl to live. The surrounding area of Smithfield market is like being in my hometown Toulouse with Club gascon, Cellar Gascon and Comptoir Gascon around. Lucky me I have my three local pubs to remind me I am living in UK Sometimes a nice restaurant is the simplest one. Compare to its sister restaurant Club Gascon, Comptoir Gascon offers simpler and traditional dishes from the Southwest of France. Last time I went for dinner I shared a platter of piggy treats with my friend, I just find a bit weird they didn't include any bread with this dish. If you want some bread you...read more"

"When I first ate at this restaurant it was really good value for money as i booked the 50% offer. However on this occasion, the menu had changed and the prices have increased. Nevertheless, the food is tasty and not oily, but a bit too spicy. I t would be good if they could give the option on whether you want the dishes mild, medium or hot. Service was really good and quick. The staff are very attentive. I will definitely go again, but only if opentable or restaurant had the 50% offer!"

"The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was excellent. I will definitely return. The service was top-notch, the meal type was dine-in, and the price per person was between £1-10. The food received a rating of 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4."

"Lovely cavernous space with light greyish woods. We attended the discounted soft launch where the menu was still limited to sharing platters. The two of us shared the meat platter of charcuterie and the vegetable platter. Both came with lovely focaccio studded with rosemary and garlic. The meat platter was pleasant with braesola, prosciutto, salami as well as a spicy chorizo-like salami whose name I can't remember. The vegetable platter was quite stunning. Roast butternut squash marinated in garlic was the standout on the plate. There was also a whole roast aubergine, roast baby carrots with cumin and beetroot with morcocan spices as well as stuffed courgette. I would only fault this dish in that it needed a sharp note such as salsa verde or tapenade especially on the slightly bland courgette. We finished with the only dessert on the menu, which was a trio of ice creams. The elderflower sorbet was really memorable."

"I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Italian restaurant in London run by chef Fabrizio. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant and refined, but at the same time welcoming and friendly. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the furnishings to the plating of the dishes to the quality of the food. The cuisine is simply superlative and unexpected, considering the tendency of Italian restaurants abroad to disappoint expectations. Here, however, I was able to taste excellent raw materials and authentic dishes that made me feel as if I were back in Italy. (Even the tagliatelle are homemade! Maurizio, the restaurant manager, made my experience even more special by recommending the perfect wine to accompany the dishes and explaining every detail with passion and competence. The restaurant is located in a particular boutique hotel frequented by an educated and refined clientele, in a very beautiful area of London and easily reachable even by public transport which continues until late at night. I cannot fail to mention the tiramisu, a true masterpiece that I have never eaten even in Italy. Chef Fabrizio's ability to combine innovation and Italian tradition while respecting the raw materials is truly commendable. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good Italian cuisine who wish to have an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience in London."
