"I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at the Italian restaurant in London run by chef Fabrizio. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant and refined, but at the same time welcoming and friendly. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the furnishings to the plating of the dishes to the quality of the food. The cuisine is simply superlative and unexpected, considering the tendency of Italian restaurants abroad to disappoint expectations. Here, however, I was able to taste excellent raw materials and authentic dishes that made me feel as if I were back in Italy. (Even the tagliatelle are homemade! Maurizio, the restaurant manager, made my experience even more special by recommending the perfect wine to accompany the dishes and explaining every detail with passion and competence. The restaurant is located in a particular boutique hotel frequented by an educated and refined clientele, in a very beautiful area of London and easily reachable even by public transport which continues until late at night. I cannot fail to mention the tiramisu, a true masterpiece that I have never eaten even in Italy. Chef Fabrizio's ability to combine innovation and Italian tradition while respecting the raw materials is truly commendable. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good Italian cuisine who wish to have an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience in London."

"eating was excellent, like the service and the general atmosphere. the two tables that were closest to the door, and the flooring were however connected with icy explosions at each entry or exit of customers. obviously it was a well-known problem because a heavy velvet curtain was positioned to provide some protection in front of the open door, but the curtain was repeatedly pulled aside when diner entered the restaurant and thus left an open gap open to the January colds. two tables had cold diners (from men's separate groups) wearing dumbbells. the cold explosions influenced what could have been a nice experience."

"very beautiful environment, beautiful place for romantic dinner, in any case it may recommend. wein was ok although they probably want to order a bottle bc price per glass is ridiculous. but courts should have better achieved good quality at this price level, but overall experience under my expectation. for example garnel with mango sauce was like 90% mayonnaise they could simply use mango with lemon honey and coriander or chili why add a mayonnaise? too many supplements also ruined carpaccio. all the ingredients were decent, but together it was a chaos I could not feel the taste of the main thing"

"I was sceptical before arriving but I have to say the food was excellent and I really enjoyed the shows. Is it good value? Probably not, but as a one off or a treat I would definitely recommend. The shows are every half an hour or so and last a couple of minutes, but we're very well put together. The food was generally of a very high standard and they catered to my friend with allergies superbly. I'm sure you could find a restaurant with as good food for a cheaper price, however once you factor in the entertainment it is a restaurant worth visiting!"

"By far the worst pad Thai I have ever had. It was wet, sloppy and sweet with a bitter after taste. There was no smokiness from the wok, no savoury notes or pungency from the standard paid Thai flavourings (shrimp paste, tamarind etc). Was also mixed with Chinese cabbage and non traditional ingredients and they couldn’t even be bothered to put in the basic ingredients such as egg, bean sprouts and garlic chives."

On the positive side, great menu, local meat cooked really well, good value On the negative, as a group of six enjoying a birthday meal, we had to put up with a bunch of young kids running around, climbing over the furniture making plenty of noise. They were having a lot of fun !!! Their parents happy for the break, the staff either too busy or unconcerned so it just became more and more irritating as evening went on. Eventually we had to raise it with the manager, who at least showed some awareness by giving us a bottle of wine on the house as we paid our bill. Alas too little to late. This establishment needs to make a choice what it wants to be.At the moment, would say go their with ear defenders.However with the food as good as it is, I hope they work it out"

"My husband and I booked lunch for our 2 year wedding anniversary and were lucky enough to sit outside in the patio garden as the weather was so lovely. The service we received from the moment we arrived and throughout our lunch was impeccable! The staff were friendly, personable and incredibly helpful. The food was utterly delicious! I ordered the heritage tomatoes to start; there are very few ingredients so there 's no where to hide! The balance of flavours was perfect! My husband had the ham hock croquette which was melt in the mouth and was complimented by a delightful caramelised apple sauce. The mains were exquisite! I had bravette of beef (slow cooked with treacle) my husband had duck, both were packed full of flavour and the meat was incredibly tender. My husband had a cheese board and I couldn 't resist the passion fruit cheesecake with mango sorbet for dessert the flavours were sublime! We were then treated to a blood orange sorbet with chocolate 'happy anniversary ' message a perfect finish to a perfect lunch! The bar has an excellent choice of beers/ales and there is an extensive gin menu. We can 't wait to go back and we 're even considering their dine stay package so we can really enjoy ourselves! I highly recommend the Dog at Wingham it 's by far the best food we 've had for a long time!"

"My friend and myself came here for afternoon tea as we had a voucher. The waitress very kindly moved us outside as it was a lovely day. We asked for no salmon as I was pregnant and my friend doesn't eat fish, the Waitress offered us to replace them with ham and cheese sandwiches. The salmon arrived on the sandwich platter anyway, it was taken back and changed but when it came back there were less sandwiches on the plate? A waiter took over the service and was not easy to locate for tea and coffee refills. Unfortunetly the scones were stale but still edible. Overall the experience was ok but I wouldn't come here again for afternoon tea or food. The bar area looks ok for a drink."

"There aren't plenty of suitable options for vegans so hopefully you’re not too hungry as quantities are quite small. We ordered a few tapas (bang bang cauliflower, vegan red dragon roll, chunky chips) and some cocktails. It's a nice place for a date for example or if you're more thirsty than hungry, although it won't be cheap. Food was okay but not amazing, it's not the type of place I would go regularly if I have other options nearby."

"Really not happy with false advertising. Sample menu states meat veg pots, however once ordered on the Thursday night offer. Only bottomless drinks whilst eating once you finished you main course it finishes or you must buy pudding. First place I've been to that the main meal is only steak at an extra £3 which was not advertised in advance) and then pay £4 for small bowl of veg and £3 for chips. So the £22 two course meal is only ok if you do not want anything else with your meat. A meal for a £22 offer with 2 people having a pudding came to £114.40 Staff not helpful about the extra costs and trading standards have been informed. Service was slow two starters came out and not the their then when it did the main meals arrived so the third person left half their soup or their main meal would be cold. Sadly the food was very nice. Too many people cramped into a small room and too noisy to talk over the other groups of people I would NOT RETURN"

"Me and my fiancé went to the bar and restaurant during our stay in Rye. The layout was excellent, very rustic homely feel to the pub, if you ever reserve to eat here too would highly recommend the fish and chips and Mussels both were so fresh and you get a lot for your money! What arrives was a very sorrowful thin granary sandwich with what looked liked ready made chive and cheese mush. Then to be told the QR code was wrong for this pub and they guessed , did it have Camden so offered Peroni. My wife had fish fingers on Brioche with chips in included at £10.95 far more value than the miserable wrong sandwich that was supplied at £8.45 plus fries at £3.95. The more I write the more angrier I find myself. The staff apologised that it was the system. As one has already paid via the QR code, you have already paid your money before seeing the food. Absolute miserable, far better value down the road at the riverside cafe in Bensons, much better place and food value excellent. This is an outrageous ripoff for this sandwich. I should also add that the Bill you are invoiced by Email doesn’t add up. It’s beyond me no matter how I interpret the vat on drinks and food which were both matched as 20%. Avoid there are far better value places. Maybe if my dissatisfaction at the time that I shared with the waiters was not so care freely ignored and unaddressed I could have been placated. That being said if the right sandwich had turned up it probably would have been woefully miserable . Food drinks: Outrageous expensive Sandwich and fries. "Staying at the Arch, so picked Hunter 486 for convenience and the menu looked good. Ambience low key, as only one couple dining when we arrived, but there were six of us so we made our own atmosphere. It did get a bit busier later on, but not as buzzy as one would normally like. Nevertheless, the food is delicious and not oily, but a bit too spicy. I would be good if they could give the opportunity to make the dishes mild, medium or hot. Service was really good and fast.
