"The atmosphere at this cozy pub is nice. We were a bit disappointed that the pizza took a long time and was missing pine nuts. However, they happily provided us with some to sprinkle on. The goat cheese and beetroot pizza was a bit bland without the tomato base. The desserts were delicious but a bit overpriced, like most places. There is a pretty garden to sit in if the weather is nice. Overall, it's not a place I would recommend for children."

The Great House offers a delightful atmosphere, with friendly staff and exceptional service from Gina, our waitress. The food was delicious - two of us enjoyed a pizza as our main course and it was fantastic! Great job!

I and my wife stumbled on Tuesday about the big house and I must say that the food and the service was great. we enjoyed the steak-deal and our beautiful bottle wein thanks for jamie and ciaran for us and I am sure we will be back for more! View menu

fantastic eating and service in a great location. well appointed pub offers an extensive menu that does not disappoint. it is very popular among the locals, so I would recommend booking. the lammburger was great and the crisp chips were fantastic as the sticky...toe for dessert!

my family had just a nice meal in the big house, from the minute when we came with a warm tired but still lively children, the staff were attentive and helpful. the menu was very diverse and for all, including the vegan in our party, and when the food came, it was very delicious. I hope we can come back as soon as it really was such a good culinary experience.

Mother's Day celebration, midweek as it was easier to enjoy it. A busy pub with good staff who were attentive. We enjoyed the fish trout, and bass; lamb shank and chicken pie. Watch for GF which means GF Friendly (why not GFF so you...may need to change ingredients e.g. not have the bulgur wheat but potatoes instead for the same price. The sweets were, needless to say, delicious and coffee tasty.
