"Omg this place is amazing! Forget the big ice-cream chains, this is the place to go. They have a massive selection of homemade gelato ice-cream, which is the best I've ever tried to be honest and I've been to italy! Two very welcoming and friendly owners here, always smiling and chatty. I've been three times and should venture out on their lovely looking food and drinks menu but just can't stop eating their gelato! Highly recommended! 5stars all round!"

"I ordered delivery from this restaurant at midday today. The food did not arrive until 2.40pm. The chicken in the chicken burgers was not sufficient to fill the buns. They made a mistake with the toastie filling, so I called them and they said they would send a replacement. At 3.20pm, the manager called my house and initially said the replacement was on its way. However, he then became aggressive towards my partner, raising his voice and interrupting him. He blamed everything but his own business for the delay and errors, even blaming us despite living within the delivery area and paying £3 for delivery. It is now 4.55pm and the replacement toastie still has not arrived. I paid for something I never received and received abusive behavior from the owner. I will not be returning to this place as the customer service is terrible. I am now uncomfortable knowing that this angry man has my phone number and address."

"I absolutely love the fact that they serve breakfast all day! I honestly wish more places would do this. I always eat breakfast at different times. Sometimes you feel like eggs or porridge in the afternoon. Good on them! It was quiet on a Tuesday late afternoon early evening. Very hot day. As per most branches, wooden country cottage feel interior. For me, LPQ have always been hit and miss with any branch you visit, be it food quality, service or cleanliness. Branch was clean. Staff were really pleasant and friendly and service was fast (I am guessing this was because they were quiet). Good menu from all day breakfast to tartines, salads, breads, soups, juices, pastries, desserts and more. Vegan's are well catered for. I had the scrambled eggs on toast with roasted portobello mushrooms and a fresh orange juice. The breakfast came with two big slices of toasted bread and a side of butter. The portion size was big which justifies the price. Not cheap at all! Well presented and freshly made. Yes, I could have made this at home. Nothing out of the ordinary but nice. As I said staff were nice and happy for me to use the free wifi and do some work at the same time. I don't often frequent this branch but came by a few months ago as well when were in lockdown C-19 pandemic and got the spinach and pine nut swirl take away which was also good. Filling and tasty and not greasy. They even threw in free chocolates as it was near Easter. Let's be honest, LPQ do well on plain and simple home comforts. Nothing out of the ordinary. Branches have a nice atmosphere and staff are pleasant most of the time. Food and cleanliness are hit and miss."

"Brunch is such an impressive time of days in eating life these days and that makes it hard to decide what to have. Fear not, as you can order a platter at Le Pain Quotidien that gives you everything. It’s only mildly disappointing that it is a chain affair. There’s 219 other Le Pain Quotidien about and chains never make for the most fun or inventive options. The food is good at least. My choice was The Farmer brunch £16.95). That comes with a boiled egg, ham, gruyere, granola parfait, a drink, a juice, a pastry and a choice of bread. Phew. The price point is on the high side not including service as well but it could go towards a pair of mouths. The pain au chocolat and sourdough are particular highlights of the board and I would have to commend the proper Belgian hot chocolate not pictured). There was also three of the spreads Speculoos, Blondie and Noisella) that are fun to sample as well."

"Wandering around Soho we walked by Le Pain and decided to give it a try looks nice from the outside with all these bread put forward on display. Ordered some house Chardonney with olives to start with and then Pizzetta, Organic Lentil Avocado Salad and Prosciutto with Mozzarella on toast. All really good. House wine excellent for house wine category, olives with some spicy flavour, salad was fairly reach (variety of veggies inside), ham was tasty and only pizzetta could have been, perhaps, a bit warmer... "Now, what can I say....love this place my family and I have made it a little a family tradition to go there when we go to brighton. the gentleman who owns it is so friendly and nothing is too much annoyed and the rest of the staff are equally friendly. the quality and presentation of food is undoubtedly excellent. we've never been disappointed over all the years we're going there. it is a must if they are in brighton, just eat nothing before they go in there, make sure that they are very full of it as they do not scrimp on portion sizes either. we had full breakfast waffel and 2 x dessert waffeln. my family member enjoyed the beautiful sunglass, which was given as a beautiful gesture, because there is birthday so friendly and very unexpected. "We visited on Saturday 10/09/2016 whilst looking round the National Gallery. The restaurant was busy but by no means full so, as we were shown to our table, we told the waitress that we wanted drinks only and she confirmed that was not a problem. The waiter eventually came over to take our order which was nice and simple, 1 tea and 1 coffee. We waited for 45 minutes and nothing turned up other than a small jug of milk but people that came in after us were all being served so we left in disgust. If they don't want customers who are not spending a fortune then they shouldn't tell us it was fine to order drinks only. Its a shame because the setting was very nice and relaxing."

"I am a frequent customer of this restaurant and usually have positive things to say about it. However, tonight I had a very disappointing experience. I waited for an hour and 45 minutes for my delivery, only to receive onion rings that were inedible, cold, and soggy. The burger was also cold and the chips were lukewarm at best. I live only half a mile away but was unable to drive, so I had to make my own tea instead of enjoying a meal after a long week of work. I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning as a customer in the future."

"I decided to try the breakfast special that I saw advertised outside the restaurant, and I was very impressed! I ordered the vegetarian full breakfast and also got a scone to take with me. The breakfast also came with orange juice. The prices were unbeatable and the quality of the food was excellent! The service was outstanding. "a couple days ago, the barista (a man in his late thirties/early forties) asked each of us in the queue our coffee orders quite abruptly. I told him what I wanted and he carried on making coffees and then take the payments when the coffee was ready to serve. It was really getting late and apologiaing, I asked him if he was actually making my coffee. He said obviously not, I will make it soon in quite an impolite way. I apologised again and told him that I had to leave and if he could cancel my order which of course hadn't even been paid for yet. I didn't get an answer, he looked at me like he couldn't care less, shrugged his shoulder and turned the other way like I was not worth his time anyway. Appalling service from that particular member of the staff"

"This was my first time trying this restaurant. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They had a delicious selection of ice cream and cheesecake, with a variety of options to choose from. The prices were reasonable. Plus, there is free parking on the road to the left for an hour, which is helpful if you're dining in or getting takeout - the takeaway box keeps your dessert intact."
