"Omg this place is amazing! Forget the big ice-cream chains, this is the place to go. They have a massive selection of homemade gelato ice-cream, which is the best I've ever tried to be honest and I've been to italy! Two very welcoming and friendly owners here, always smiling and chatty. I've been three times and should venture out on their lovely looking food and drinks menu but just can't stop eating their gelato! Highly recommended! 5stars all round!"

"I ordered delivery from this restaurant at midday today. The food did not arrive until 2.40pm. The chicken in the chicken burgers was not sufficient to fill the buns. They made a mistake with the toastie filling, so I called them and they said they would send a replacement. At 3.20pm, the manager called my house and initially said the replacement was on its way. However, he then became aggressive towards my partner, raising his voice and interrupting him. He blamed everything but his own business for the delay and errors, even blaming us despite living within the delivery area and paying £3 for delivery. It is now 4.55pm and the replacement toastie still has not arrived. I paid for something I never received and received abusive behavior from the owner. I will not be returning to this place as the customer service is terrible. I am now uncomfortable knowing that this angry man has my phone number and address."

"I absolutely love the fact that they serve breakfast all day! I honestly wish more places would do this. I always eat breakfast at different times. Sometimes you feel like eggs or porridge in the afternoon. Good on them! It was quiet on a Tuesday late afternoon early evening. Very hot day. As per most branches, wooden country cottage feel interior. For me, LPQ have always been hit and miss with any branch you visit, be it food quality, service or cleanliness. Branch was clean. Staff were really pleasant and friendly and service was fast (I am guessing this was because they were quiet). Good menu from all day breakfast to tartines, salads, breads, soups, juices, pastries, desserts and more. Vegan's are well catered for. I had the scrambled eggs on toast with roasted portobello mushrooms and a fresh orange juice. The breakfast came with two big slices of toasted bread and a side of butter. The portion size was big which justifies the price. Not cheap at all! Well presented and freshly made. Yes, I could have made this at home. Nothing out of the ordinary but nice. As I said staff were nice and happy for me to use the free wifi and do some work at the same time. I don't often frequent this branch but came by a few months ago as well when were in lockdown C-19 pandemic and got the spinach and pine nut swirl take away which was also good. Filling and tasty and not greasy. They even threw in free chocolates as it was near Easter. Let's be honest, LPQ do well on plain and simple home comforts. Nothing out of the ordinary. Branches have a nice atmosphere and staff are pleasant most of the time. Food and cleanliness are hit and miss."

"A chain with some character, Le Pain serves up great coffee and authentic French sweets and pastries and a mean brunch/breakfast option. I've stopped at Le Pain for coffee and croissants in the past, both of which are excellent at reasonable prices and accompanied by free wifi should you be interested. The real winner here though is the breakfast boards; there are a number to choose from but as an example you can opt for The Angler which arrives on a large wooden board and includes a boiled egg a very generous serving of smoked salmon with capers a wedge of baguette two slices of soft bread fresh cream cheese choice of croissant/pain au chocolat/pastry selection of jams choice of hot drink fresh orange juice granola parfait At just under 16 pounds this is a late breakfast option that will satisfy even the hungriest customer. It gets quite busy though, so don't expect much attention from the servers and you'll inevitably end up a few pieces of cutlery short. If you don't mind that it's worth a visit, and if suggest sharing a few boards between you as one per person is really far too much food!"

"Wandering around Soho we walked by Le Pain and decided to give it a try looks nice from the outside with all these bread put forward on display. Ordered some house Chardonney with olives to start with and then Pizzetta, Organic Lentil Avocado Salad and Prosciutto with Mozzarella on toast. All really good. House wine excellent for house wine category, olives with some spicy flavour, salad was fairly reach (variety of veggies inside), ham was tasty and only pizzetta could have been, perhaps, a bit warmer... "Now, what can I say....love this place my family and I have made it a little a family tradition to go there when we go to brighton. the gentleman who owns it is so friendly and nothing is too much annoyed and the rest of the staff are equally friendly. the quality and presentation of food is undoubtedly excellent. we've never been disappointed over all the years we're going there. it is a must if they are in brighton, just eat nothing before they go in there, make sure that they are very full of it as they do not scrimp on portion sizes either. we had full breakfast waffel and 2 x dessert waffeln. my family member enjoyed the beautiful sunglass, which was given as a beautiful gesture, because there is birthday so friendly and very unexpected. "I am a frequent customer of this restaurant and usually have positive things to say about it. However, tonight I had a very disappointing experience. I waited for an hour and 45 minutes for my delivery, only to receive onion rings that were inedible, cold, and soggy. The burger was also cold and the chips were lukewarm at best. I live only half a mile away but was unable to drive, so I had to make my own tea instead of enjoying a meal after a long week of work. I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning as a customer in the future."

"This restaurant is conveniently situated within the National Gallery. The elevated deck creates a spacious and airy atmosphere, which is a lovely respite after a busy day exploring the gallery. However, the service can be quite slow, so if you're pressed for time, I wouldn't recommend dining here. Otherwise, take your time to relax and enjoy the experience. Some tables offer a pleasant view of the nearby Trafalgar Square."

"Food is tasty (not fantastic) and the cost of £10.90 for a take away of 1 main and 3 sides is on the pricey side. However my issue with this place is the way the food is served... slapped on a plate (or in a box) like a dogs dinner. I just went in there to get my lunch and had to ask the server to please not put the salad (that has oil and dressing) over my mains (pasta) and broccoli slide. She looked at me as if I club baby seals to death for a living. I made the mistake of wanting some hummus with my salad... Big mistake as this was slapped all over my pasta, broccoli and salad. I was not impressed and the box was dirty on the outside from the mess she made. She then closed the box and slapped this on the counter in disgust with a grunt, as if I had asked her the most awful thing in the world... Also, the food is cold, so if you get the pasta, chicken or veg sides it's not warm... it's cold! Suffice to say I won't be getting my food here again..."

"I decided to try the breakfast special that I saw advertised outside the restaurant, and I was very impressed! I ordered the vegetarian full breakfast and also got a scone to take with me. The breakfast also came with orange juice. The prices were unbeatable and the quality of the food was excellent! The service was outstanding. It was clear that the staff put a lot of care into the presentation of the meal, showing that service and quality were top priorities. I would highly recommend this restaurant! "a couple days ago, the barista (a man in his late thirties/early forties) asked each of us in the queue our coffee orders quite abruptly. I told him what I wanted and he carried on making coffees and then take the payments when the coffee was ready to serve. It was really getting late and apologiaing, I asked him if he was actually making my coffee. He said obviously not, I will make it soon in quite an impolite way. I apologised again and told him that I had to leave and if he could cancel my order which of course hadn't even been paid for yet. I didn't get an answer, he looked at me like he couldn't care less, shrugged his shoulder and turned the other way like I was not worth his time anyway. Appalling service from that particular member of the staff"

"Nice little cafe, hidden beneath scaffolding at present. My husband is a regular and the staff were anxious to find out why he hadn't been in for a while. I had been in a shoe store looking for ankle boots and followed him in a few minutes later. The place has a relaxed air but I personally feel that the tables are too close together but it's very clean and service is quick and warm and friendly"
