"We had a lovely meal here. Two adults two kids. Kids menu was decent. Me and my partner had the bang bang chicken to start which was lovely! Both had the fillet cooked medium, sides all really tasty and home made chips and onion rings! The only thing I didn’t like was the guacamole (I know guacamole with steak but I love avocado! it honestly was the most horrible thing so pale in colour and smooth as anything it was clearly out of a bottle and not homemade. But that’s personal choice I guess! I would definitely eat here again the flavour on the steak was unreal!"

"got a tad early at 8 minutes and were graciously accompanied to our table. all very exactly together with linen napkins. I asked if we wanted to drink. then our orders were taken over. the chicken wings were juicy, tender and much meat! the BBQ sauce was excellent. delicious. the chef cooks the steaks on a cast iron rust on a wood fire. he checks the degree of cooking by gently pressing with his hand. the filet steak, medium rare, was cooked to perfection. the steak was reinforced with the highest quality delicate and tasteful by the smoke from the wood fire. the food was top notch and the service from the chef and waiter was faultless. attentive, friendly and friendly. we're coming back, of course. that was up there with the best in berkshire. thanks to the staff of tonight for their exceptional service. the parking lot was full, but after 18 clock the public parking is free. after 9 clock the toll bridge is free. @herd restaurant. marketing. no need to comment. review speaks for itself!"

"Things change. I used to recommend this pub. The seating was uncomfortable. The food portion was small. Very. Though my coconut curry was quite tasty, my wife's dish was bland. We were not welcomed with a smile and told bluntly that what we had chosen on the menu was, in fact, not available. Normally that information would be given first. Everyone has an off day. I'm hoping that's what it was. I just think it wasn't worth the expense of getting there and eating there. Some people are obsessed with going out. Must have money to burn. The next day, I cooked veggie burgers in brioche buns, with fresh avocado spread inside the buns, served with M&S triple cooked chips. It was heaven and cost next to nothing. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"Always stop for a pint or two…more when in London. Actually went upstairs for dinner this time, and was pleasantly surprised. Food was solid, but most importantly Ellen, our server made our night (what a hoot)! Not only was she to personable, but we had a great lo g chat while ordering and eating. She the snuck outside and said good night after her shut ended. Best time we have had at George!"

"First time here and decided to go with the fish platter to share. This was a beautiful selection of mussels, clams, prawns, sea bass, soft shell crab and shrimp. The portion for us was about right in size and ours was all cooked perfectly. Nothing over cooked, the skin on the fish crisp but the fish still moist and the texture of the rest was just right. Drank a nice bottle of Gavi with it. Lovely evening and I’m sure I’ll be back."

"One of my favorites! Food, service and ambience are all very good. Been here a handful of times so I can comfortably comment on the consistency with respect to both food and service! Yes, it’s on the pricier side for their teeny tiny portions they have but it being Mayfair and the sky high commercial rents that the neighborhood demands and all that...ah well. It is a seafood-heavy menu but as someone who doesn’t eat seafood, I quite like everything else that I’ve tried on the menu. So I’d imagine that their signature seafood dishes would be incredible. Special call out to their tandoori chicken kebab, garlic naan and gulab jamun. A major plus point thus far is the ease of getting a reservation here on OpenTable, even at a moment’s notice!"

"Even though I didn't get the pleasure of dining here I'm not going to fault them too much for this. I was pleased to see that had the kitchen been open we had been perfectly placed at the corner table in The Corner restaurant (doesn't take much to please me! The manager did kindly relocate us to another spot where we got to enjoy our afternoon. I do look forward to coming by again and hopefully still get the corner table and some food too"

"Hidden gem near the Excel. Great food, hearty conversations beautiful views. The steaks and grill items are always spot on in taste and presentation. Very reasonably priced total value for money. Food is always fresh, service is chilled out, and a very casual relaxing environment. And everything's halal, including the full English breakfast! Would go back anytime when I'm in the area."

"We were disappointed today. Our booked table had not been prepared, despite all the reminders we, The food did come quickly the customers, received. Nobody was there to welcome us and we had to attract attention by making ourselves visible to the kitchen area. The food did come quickly when ordered. Unfortunately the tartare sauce had a skin on it so must have been left out from the previous day. It contained large lumps of gherkins and, unfortunately, a piece of sharp ,white plastic. This was reported but. produced no reaction. Having taken guests there, this was embarrassing. In addition, our table had not been cleaned properly after previous occupants had spilled salt and the ketchup bottle revealed a hard spike of old ketchup when the lid was opened."
