"Right so I’ve ordered fish and chips for the office, we waited until the time slot and nothing, we gave it 5 mins and called them, and then repeatedly called them for the next 30 mins. Finally after an hour the food arrives, stone cold,...soggy and covered in condensation. I’ve called them again and she offered me a half price refund. I explained it was going straight in the bin. I was offered a full refund, gave them My card details and instead they charged me again. I was left, hungry and angry. They have no customer service, and they’ve not attempted to compensate me for this shambolic experience. Save your money and go to Churchill’s"

"I was kept waiting twice as long as the estimated wait time at this restaurant, clearly due to a delivery issue. A man who seemed to be a manager was continuously swearing on his phone and directing his frustration toward other patrons while slamming the phone down on customers asking about their orders. When my food finally arrived, there was no apology offered. I haven’t been to this place in 10 years, and after this experience, I have no intention of returning for another decade."

"I ordered a take-away for my family just after 5pm on Saturday evening, spending over £50. It took over 2 hours to arrive and when we unpacked it, the cartons for several dishes were less than 50% full. E.G. Beef with Pak Choi, charged at £7.95 and Crispy Seaweed £5.45 but there was literally less than half a carton. What sort of restauranteur would think it's acceptable to keep a customer waiting over 2 hours, then send out cartons that are quite clearly nowhere near a fair size portion for the price they charge? No apology, not even a few prawn crackers as a gesture to make up for the wait. Then the added insult of only enabling me to feed half my family. Needless to say I will NEVER order from Paya again and my advice to anyone else is to choose another restaurant."

"This is our 5th visit to kam sang restaurant and on previous occasions the food and service both excellent but last nights visit was totally different we were greeted by most of the staff wearing masks were shown to a table brought menus order taken the first course hot and sour soup was so spicy it brought tears to my boyfriends eyes he had the same soup in july totally different colour and taste and it so much tastier in july next the main course my boyfriend had house special curry the prawns were hard to eat and cut which spoiled the curry i had the beef and pineapple which was ok very pineapple laden and very underseasoned next the egg fried rice which was sticky clumped together and not very tasty the one redeeming part of the meal was the prawn crackers very tasty i must also say felt very watched by the staff when eating now u can be attentive to customer's without making u feel like u being watched if i do return and staff wearing masks i will not be staying as not comfortable being served by people wearing masks Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"moved into the opposite and was told by a friend that there are not really good Chinese outliers in flitwick. but we were past felicity a few times and wanted to try it out, so we thought we were going, but we didn't have high hopes, especially those who looked crispy. but it was excellent! much better than expected from the reviews I had seen. we ordered on a Saturday night and they were clearly busy. the food was delicious, fresh and very nice. the only reason for not 5 stars is that the sweet and acidic sauce was a bit more casual than used, but this is just personal preference. everything else was nice and it was pretty good value for money."

"very disappointed that we wrote this, but lu shan have supported, since their possession we are very indecisive with the service. in many places we try to place an order by phone, but it rings and rings without answer. as a once fully functioning restaurant we are disappointed that they are no longer open to eating in customers and recommend that the reason is not a personal. Unfortunately, we find this hard to believe, as local pubs, despite the recent problems of kovid and brexit, have no less than party-time employees in their wage role. when considering further, you argue not water, but point to mismanagement. recently we tried to order takeaway and took up the phone problems directly with the staff. our thoughts were met with an aggressive reaction despite good years of support. I wonder how they feel when the support disappears as the service has?"

"Was a bit optimistic about ordering from here but thought we'd give it a bash and thank goodness we did, food was absolutely amazing and plenty of it. We ordered a Salt Spicy Munchie Box and a chicken chow mein special Saturday night offer £20.50 it fed 3 adults amply and there was enough left for 2 adults to warm up the following day. Food was of excellent quality, well cooked and extremely tasty, also included complimentary prawn crackers. Added bonus they deliver too for a small fee. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to try ourselves again."

"Visited on a Saturday evening with two elderly neighbours. As one of them sat down on a chair it was so rough it sliced into his finger and bled really badly. The waitress brought him the tiniest plaster, laughed and said Please don't die'!!!!This chair should have been taken away and replaced immediately, and my neighbour should have been treated with concern and respect, but sadly not. The food was lovely, but the response from the staff at this incident was totally unacceptable"

"I recently ordered a takeout dinner from this restaurant and was extremely impressed. The price per person was around £10–20, but the quality of the food made it worth every penny. I would give both the food and service a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant also contributed to a great dining experience, earning another 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the Crispy Beef and Egg Fried Rice – they were both delicious and definitely stand out as some of the best dishes on the menu."

"Would give it no stars if I could. Without a doubt the most disappointing and bland Chinese. I used to use this before the current owners and it was fantastic. I thought I would give the new owners a chance and well that was a waste of money. Chow mein had no flavour, the curry tasted of powder and nothing more, loads of onions and substandard meat. Big spring rolls were all batter, oily and no filling. The most impressive and tasty thing here was the free prawn crackers. Do yourself a favour and please avoid here it’s not worth your money."

"Went here for Christmas day lunch the place was packed out but still got served fairly promptly. The . outside shop front could do with a bit of an overhaul The decor inside is a bit dated but looks absolutely fine and traditional. The food was excellent and a good reminder as to why I go to these traditional restaurants as opposed to one of these buffet places that you now find everywhere. I had a steak which came out on a sizzling platter and it was one of the most tender steaks I have ever enjoyed. My wife had a more traditional Szechuan chicken with fried rice. It was a lovely sized portion, the chicken was tender and the rice was nice and fluffy. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the first impressions from the outside was a little disheartening although everything was fine once we stepped through the door and the food more than made up for it!"

"Excellent web service to pre-order Chinese meal for a large group. We were able to complete our order and pay for everything online on the Friday morning, for collection on the Saturday evening. It was easy to select a time for collection, plus find the dishes everyone wanted. Email confirmation received instantly with a complete list of our order. Saturday late afternoon we received a further email with details asking us to check carefully and call them if any changes needed. On checking we realised there was an error on one of the dishes (found to be our fault, so many apologies! , Rang Terry's and they immediately changed it to the correct dish. On arrival for collection, everything was ready and the individual dishes had been packed into a large box which made it very easy for me. Our Chinese meal was excellent, cooked to perfection and enjoyed by all. Vegetarian options: Excellent"

"Tried this takeaway for the first time and wish I haven't I ordered the Special Fried rice dish with a Curry sauce. When I tasted this dish, the rice was soggy with very little ingredients you normally associate with Special rice dishes. There was a lot of luncheon meat which I never tasted in a rice dish before. In all there was two Prawns in the whole dish which was the size of your thumbnail. The meat you normally get at the top of the dish was tough and not very appetising. I will say the Curry sauce was quite good, but...this was the smallest portion I have experienced when ordering a take away. Don't think I will this takeaway again."

"When we placed our order, my friend spoke to three different staff members who didn’t even realize that the dish was supposed to come with pancakes, which they were out of. The plum sauce that should accompany Peking duck was an odd orange flavor and definitely not traditional plum sauce. As a gesture of apology for the missing pancakes, they offered us some free chicken wings, but overall, it was a disappointing experience. To make matters worse, the fried rice was undercooked as well."

"We received quick and friendly service during our visit. We ordered sesame prawn toast, king prawn curry, and Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken. The prawn toast was double the portion size compared to our local takeaway, and it was also much more affordable. It was delicious and not greasy at all. "We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for 30 years and have always been satisfied with the service and food. However, our recent takeaway experience on Sunday was disappointing. The food seemed to have been reheated in the microwave and left sitting out for a while before being delivered to us. The chicken balls and chips were soggy and cold, the rice was dry and cold instead of fried as advertised, and the roast pork kung po was also cold. The mixed starter was full of fat, leading us to believe that there may be a new chef in the kitchen. This experience has deterred us from returning to this restaurant in the future. It is a shame after all these years of dining here."
