Soft, fluffy pastry spiraled with cinnamon sugar, topped with sweet cream cheese frosting.

"this place discovered and stopped to breakfast, immaculately clean, friendly staff, well known place, but unfortunately eating was a massive one for us. Two of us ordered full English and asked that bacon be well made. eating came quickly and definitiw precooked and kept hot...in dishes? speckfett was white, my sausages light brown my man pale, my eggs looked good until I cut into them .one was fit the other raw clear egg. mushrooms boiled and tasteless. I'm sorry to say, I'm not going back. did not want to complain when only two very young girls were serving and did not want to upset them when they were so friendly. No one came by to ask how this was eating, so we left over half of the breakfast and left the space."

"I want to start by mentioning the kind gentleman, "Honey Butter," who treated us to delicious treats for my roommate's birthday at this restaurant. The food here is absolutely delicious! I ordered Joe's slider duo with chipotle chicken and speck, while my roommate ordered the same but with corn-rib-hack and poached eggs. The sliders were perfectly toasted and bursting with flavor. We also enjoyed Belgian waffles with Nutella, strawberries, bananas, and chocolate, banana, butter pecan toppings. The waffles were divine, especially with the fresh fruit. The berries were incredibly ripe and tasty. Another friend got the heavenly French toast, which she raved about and even brought some home. We also tried the lobster roll eggs benedict and western fries, all of which were exceptional. The food here is top-notch in taste, quality, and seasoning. We are already planning to return this Saturday. Can't wait!"

"a breathtaking jewel, hidden around the corner, in front of the bustling city, like a peaceful retreat. beautiful layout and interieur surrounded by plants set for a relaxed and cozy experience. the staff was always attentive, friendly and helpful. it is clear that honest, open and ethical values are in the core of the entire business, which is still somewhat unusual, so this place really remains. the menu, while small, is sufficient and explained in every detail, also about the company that offers them the great tasting coffee and the people behind everything. so an amazing place with much worth and people behind it, and the coffee is just as good. can’t expect to come back soon to enjoy it again, and even a facility for sale. update: stayed the day after eating and it was also delicious!"

"As someone who is in the high risk category for Covid-19, I have been avoiding most spaces that just don't seem to be taking social distancing and track trace properly. However, Down to Earth feels so incredibly safe to me, with regular cleaning and everyone being well-spaced at tables! I can't fault the politeness of the staff who are dealing with such an impossible situation with amazing patience and politeness. They were a little shaken after a man swore at them for gently asking him to wear a mask, and then carried on serving us cheerily, and did so well despite having to deal with such rude people as they attempt to enforce government policy (he never said he was exempt, just hurled abuse and stormed off). The coffee is delicious and the vegan cinnamon buns are to die for, so if you're like me and you're trying to keep yourself and those around you safe and you still want to get out every now and again, I cannot recommend this place enough, and the one in Kensington Gardens too!"

"I came to visit with my parents and my mum is a wheelchair user. This restaurant is fully accessible opposite the ferry terminal and is a welcoming place. We opted for the chicken, bacon and Leek pie, beef and ale pie and I had the chicken salad. All washed down with delicious coffee and my dad had a pint of Caledonian ale. The prices are very reasonable especially as its freshly made products. The owner is lovely and welcoming... We will be back."

"Absolutely terrible. Sat at a table, whilst another customer moved the rubbish off of the table they had just sat at onto ours (not enough staff to clear? I took two trays and countless other things inside to clear the table. Another older customer with a walking stick tripped down the step with his tray, I offered to carry it to his table as again no one else seemed available. Ordered two hot chocolates was not asked a single thing (small/large, drink in/takeaway, anything else . Sat down and realised both were cold. Took them back in and was made new drinks by a member of staff who seemed so annoyed I ended up apologising!! So I'm £8 down, have cleared up two of your tables of items but not stickiness, sat on a chair with birds poo over it.... and apologised for the inconvenience I caused you all!"
