"First of the lady that served us , Tracy I believe her name was , she was fantastic, could not ask for a better service, breakfast was good and well priced although I'm not a fan of mushrooms cooked in oil , I'm more of a butter person. The decaf coffee was top notch , I found the decor to be warm and inviting, seats were very comfortable and the atmosphere in general was good , I'd say a 9 out of 10 score and would definitely return...as long as we get a chat with Tracy again ....such a fun soul"

"The wait at this restaurant was incredibly long! The staff were pleasant, but clearly overwhelmed. The wait for a breakfast refill was ridiculous, and it was obvious that the chefs were struggling to keep up with the orders. Although the food was okay, the two-hour-plus wait was too much to bear. "had a nice late lunch, early dinner at frankie benny in gunwharf quays. harrison took care of us. very friendly and gave us additional time if I could not decide what to order. the best part was that he didn't come by and looked after us when we had full the month. that always brings me. I hope he waited and appreciated it perfectly. I liked that. was great eating. very tasty and filling. mac and cheese burger with Cajun cheeseries. my new fav! Five stars."

"Went on the off chance of getting a table around 5:45pm on a Saturday. We did and the waiter was very helpful. I had a groupon offer showing but he said that it takes around 6 hours to get the offer come through. My partner has the Taste app/card which gives 2-4-1 so we was allowed to use that. We had three courses each. Two soft drinks for just over £32! We had lovely service. Hot food. Quick service and lovely atmosphere with clean establishment. Well done Gloucester! Thank you so much. "My partner and I came here for an anniversary meal last week and we were not disappointed. The Manager Mel was welcoming, chatty and enthusiastic and the waiting staff were friendly and professional. The service was impeccable and the food was beautiful. We were made to feel welcome and our meal was very reasonably priced. Before we had even finished our meal we were planning the next time we would eat here!"

"Came to this restaurant on Thursday 11th July. Was a very busy and bustling establishment at the time. Considering how busy the place was and also how hot it was due to the muggy weather, the experience was very good. The staff looked after us extremely well, especially our server, James, who coped amazingly well and stayed professional and attentive at all times, especially as you could tell the place was considerably busy and many demanding tables around us. Food was brilliant and great value for money. we would always recommend this place to anyone. Many thanks."

"After booking a table well in advance, arrived at the restaurant to be told we didn’t have a booking. We were then placed at a table and a waiter, who can’t speak or understand English, took our drinks order. Having placed the drinks order, we waited in anticipation for it to arrive, when the wine and beer arrived there was one beer short. Having waited we then had to go to the front and ask for it. The waiter then got totally confused and brought more beer than was requested anyway that was sorted. We order the spicy wings that is advertised with a blue cheese dipping and of course get told there is no blue cheese dipping . The main meal seemed to go off without problems. However, we had to continually ask for the empty glasses to be removed to make place for the plates. Then we get to dessert where a restaurant doesn’t have cream to make an Irish Coffee. So all in all Frankie Benny will not see us there again"

"My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time in two weeks. The first time we went, the service was not great and the waiter made mistakes with our orders because they didn't speak English well. However, on our second visit, we were able to use a voucher that we hadn't been able to use before. The service was better and faster this time. The food was tasty, although my partner's crab dish was still frozen in the middle and had to be sent back. When it finally came out, it was delicious. This restaurant may not be the best choice for a quiet evening out, as there were always children dining and it could get quite noisy."

"We tried four different restaurants to reach Suffolk foodhall, Oyster, Harvester, all too busy on a Saturday morning 10:00 and then my daughter suggested, try Frankie and Benny's. I wish we had tried Frankie and Benny's first, and they were really quiet. He went in. We ordered the food. Quickly got out. The staff is beautiful, beautiful atmosphere. I didn't know it was still open and food came out. Breakfast was delicious for £10.50 full English breakfast eggs. Sausage Toast black pudding beans mushrooms all beautiful Bacon was beautiful. There were 11 of us. The young lady who served us was really beautiful. I couldn't do enough for us. We sit and look around. Really good. Good atmosphere if you want something nice to eat and good atmosphere. good, clean experience. Try honestly and Benny is still open. Still good food well enjoyed it"

"I was disappointed with the service at this restaurant. From the start, the person who greeted us dropped all the menus on the floor. Our server, a woman with short blond hair, did not check on us during our meal as expected. I was disappointed to find that my burger did not have red onions as stated on the menu, and the server did not mention this at all. After finishing our meal, we waited a while for her to come over as she was preoccupied with folding napkins and not attentive to our table. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the staff seemed uninterested and provided the worst customer service I have ever encountered."

"Sadly Frankie Bennys is no longer a go to place for us. 10 years ago, the decor was much nicer as it tried to ape the old school Italian American restaurants of the 1950 's, but today 's decor is bland and uninteresting. The wait for food was well over an hour, not remotely enough kitchen staff to cope, glad we didn 't have the starters as that would have dragged the night on even further. The menu? A shadow of what it used to be, and £17.90 for a double burger and fries is Steak prices. £3.90 for a large Coke is beyond ridiculous, cheaper to drink alcohol. The food was simply OK, there isn 't the choice their used to be, no more Little Italy Mussels, the pizza whilst freshly made wasn 't exactly filling, not very large and thin. I wouldn 't mind so much, but in the past it was quite expensive to eat there but then they had a much broader menu, today, not nearly as much and yet for four of us and a small child, our bill exceeded £100, and that was no starters and no desserts. The problem for me is I don 't see Frankie Bennys justified in charging that much anymore, it all feels very corporate chain, certainly not the same as a small independent restaurant that could charge that much, it feels like a slightly posher experience than Burger King or McDonalds. End of the road for us, our last time."

"I made two phone calls after making a reservation through OpenTable, and both times they said they had no record of my booking. It was for my daughter's birthday, and even on the day of the reservation, the manager insisted we didn't have a booking before finally admitting we had one for 5pm, when my app clearly showed it was for noon. They were able to seat us eventually, but the attitude was really poor. However, our waiter was fantastic and the food was good. It's a shame about their booking system."

"I recently dined at Francie Bennys in Coventry and it was absolutely terrible. Let me tell you a joke – I would have been better off going to Burger King instead. I ordered a cajun chicken sandwich which came with fries and coleslaw. When the food arrived, the coleslaw was soggy and I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. The portion of fries was so small, I could count them – there were exactly 23. The chicken sandwich was also disappointing as it was served stone cold. It seemed like they had just reheated a pre-cooked chicken breast in the microwave for 20 seconds before serving it. The sandwich cost £9.95 and a coke was £2.10, making a total of £12.05 for a meal that even a dog wouldn't want to eat. I didn't want to cause a scene by complaining, but I definitely won't be returning."

"we approached the writing and asked for a table of 6 to say: "Don't worry about anything until 8 o'clock". that was around 6.05 clock, the restaurant was half empty ... so we went online for 6.15 clock with open re-entered ... told them we had a reservation, observed “some heated words”. between the staff and we were taken to a perfectly empty table for 6. just 50 minutes waiting for our food. that said our server was friendly and apologetic. eating was ok, 2 pizzas, 3 calzones and a sirloin steak, that was definitiw rump, as it was to think and took hard to sirloin! to the happiness we have a taste card so that the meal with a softdrink cost only £10 per head, and we were limited due to a cinema booking for time. lection learned book before entering, and use it taste card, not sure that I would have paid the bill in full amount, we had not discounted!"

"I have been to this restaurant twice as a vegan and have always been delighted. The beet burger is absolutely delicious, and the Mediterranean salad is a perfect choice for a light and refreshing meal. I would also strongly recommend trying the chocolate fudge cake. "I made a reservation for a table for 8 people at 6:15 through OpenTable, but when I arrived, they had not received my booking, which was not my error but an OpenTable mistake. We had to wait until 6:45 for the next available table, which was only designed for 6 people. After I asked about our order, we were finally served our food at 7:30. By then, my hungry and hyper 3-year-old son was running around the restaurant. The 7 burgers, buns, and onion rings we ordered were cold and tasteless, with soggy bases, but the fries were very hot. We also had to wait again for the children's desserts, which was ice cream. We had to ask for our bill and ended up leaving disappointed with a group of bored children who had been sitting at a small table for too long and given poor quality food. Spending £105 for the worst evening out in a long time is not something I would recommend or repeat."
