"At Frankie & Benny’s, you get what you pay for. The meals are very affordable, and it is understood that the quality matches the price. We started with the BBQ chicken wings, which were generously coated in sauce and tasted great. For our main courses, we had pizza and a hot dog. I especially enjoyed my goat cheese pizza, although the crust was a bit disappointing as it was still raw in some spots. The waiter was friendly and enthusiastic at our table, but the service was quite slow. The waitress apologized multiple times but didn’t provide any explanation for the delays. We also had to order our drinks ourselves, and it took a while for the food to arrive. We thought we had plenty of time for coffee before heading to the cinema, but we ended up paying the bill as soon as the drinks arrived because we were concerned about the wait. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."

"Prebooked a table for people. We were crammed on a person table if that despite the restaurant being practically empty with much bigger tables. It was clear we were struggling and not once were we offered the chance to move. We had to...call someone over to take our drinks order. She didn’t come to take the order for at least minutes after saying she was coming then one drink never turned up so after about minutes of waiting we had to ask for it again. The food arrived at the same time which was good but unfortunately nobody had cleared our salad bowls so we couldn’t fit the mains on properly and some plates were practically bare. There was only a quarter of rotisserie chicken left when we ordered so we had to swap to a chicken breast which was ok but when a lot of the food is fatty and the ribs are undercooked without the bbq sauce on at all like stated on the menu that isn’t acceptable. It was very clear the staff were keeping the guests in one area of the restaurant for their convenience but it backfired when someone from the door marked ‘Private’ shouted something so loudly every guest turned and looked in shock. There was no explanation or apology. The staff just came out one by one smiling and laughing after they’d all rushed through to the back to see what was going on. Very unprofessional! It’s my first time visiting Wales and I’d had this Harvester recommended to me but I’ll never go back to it no matter how many times I visit in the future!"

"Made a booking for 7pm as wasn’t sure how busy it would be and didn’t want to be turned away. Arrived 6.50pm and taken straight to table. 7pm drinks order taken. 7.20pm food order taken. Meal didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was great and just what we ordered however the long wait ruined the enjoyment. It looked like a lot of take away orders were being prioritised above sit ins which is a disappointment. We had made the effort to attend in person and would have gladly spent more money here but the wait put us off. I wouldn’t rush back here and I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends as I wouldn’t want them to be disappointed. Sad to think that higher management may see a decline in footfall and close store because of this but the truth is people do wish to visit for a sit in meal but the poor service is off putting."

"had a fantastic night cocktail in revolution for a friend hen at night yesterday. the manager tom was an amazing host, and carter who took our master class was very professional and fun. Although we make a few cocktails in the evening, we both felt especially and not just another group of customers. well worth the money, especially the double money offer. we had planned to hike the wind street after, but the atmosphere and the music was so good, we stayed and danced the night away. "Went in for an early dinner at 11.30am, but were told they don't take orders for dinner until 12pm. We just sat at a table, had drinks and chatted for a bit so it wasn't a problem. I had macaroni cheese with bacon and my nephews ordered off the kids menu. Good selection on the kids menu, usually it's about four things, but there's had a much larger choice which was good. My Mum had the caeser salad. Food was very tasty and came in good time. The lady who served us was chatty, friendly and very smiley. Good experience all round."

"We attended a wedding celebration and took advantage of a Groupon deal for a two-course meal for £30, which allowed us to save £36 on our total bill—truly fantastic value! The menu offered plenty of options, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Our server, Courtney, was exceptionally kind, especially considering it was only her second day on the job. The chef, Matt, was outstanding and even crafted rose shapes out of our tomatoes. Overall, we experienced first-class customer service and top-quality food, which was cooked to perfection."

"We brought a group of 60 children and 7 staff members to have dinner at Frankie and Benny's in Peterborough (Fengate) and we were extremely impressed by our experience. It can be challenging to have so many 10 to 11 year olds in a restaurant, but we can honestly say that the 2 hours we spent there were fantastic. The food was excellent, it arrived quickly, was served efficiently, and was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every child had a great time, and the adults were also very impressed. Every member of the staff worked tirelessly, particularly 'Ben' who made a great effort to engage with the children and talk to them. The complimentary Pokémon cards given to the children were a nice touch as well! 10/10 service! Thank you."

"I turned to my husband, frustrated, as it was now approaching 8:05. He glanced at me and said it was only 8:01. I insisted it was 8:05 according to my watch, but he leaned toward the register and insisted it was 8:01, displaying a rather sarcastic attitude. I don't expect this level of rudeness from restaurant staff. When he finally came to seat us, he asked how many children's menus we needed, despite our reservation clearly being for five adults. This only added to my discomfort, and even my daughter noticed how sarcastic he was. I believe he needs training in customer service. I felt like taking my family and leaving, but I didn't want to ruin their outing. This whole experience has made me reluctant to return, which is disappointing since we've been dining there at least three times a month for several years."

"Of course, I’ve been to Nando’s countless times, so I thought it was about time I wrote a review. This restaurant has had a makeover and it looks great! We turned up at 6pm yesterday and were seated straightaway, even being asked where we’d like to sit. We ordered on the app (automatically getting our reward chillies! , and our bottomless drinks were brought to us already filled; we were even asked if we’d like them to be refilled for us. Our food was brought out quickly, hot and delicious. I ordered the Fino Pitta (chicken thighs and halloumi with garlic aioli and salad with Peri Chips (Churrasco Spice ; I haven’t had a pitta from here before… what a treat so soft and fresh! I asked for mayonnaise too, which is THE best one in existence. We had a lovely catch up and were able to stay for quite some time whilst we did so. Great value for money, with quality service thank you!"

"Today, we visited the restaurant for my son's 11th birthday celebration with his friends. We ordered our main dishes and milkshakes from the menu. We wanted to order dessert, but we only had 25 minutes before we had to leave for laser tag. We inquired with the server if we would have enough time, and she assured us that we would. We decided to order 4 desserts. Unfortunately, only 2 desserts arrived after 5 minutes, while the other 2, including the one for my son's birthday, arrived just as we needed to leave. This 20-minute delay in serving the desserts caused my son to be upset as we had to rush through his birthday dessert. As a result, we were late for laser tag and missed a game. When I questioned the delay, I was informed that it was due to a new chef and was left with no further explanation. We also requested a balloon for each child, which was not provided, despite other children of similar age receiving them. When we inquired about the balloons, the server confirmed but never brought them. The food was mediocre, as we expected. Overall, it was one of the worst cases of service we have experienced."

"Visited on Saturday afternoon, was very busy and we were left waiting in the doorway for at least 5 minutes before anyone came over to us. We were seated right at the back near the kitchen which was the busiest part, almost all tables were full. I don't know why we were seated here as there were many empty tables near the front. We ordered the chicken variety starter and the house burger. The starter arrived within 10 minutes and was generally good. The chicken on the scewers was dry but everything else was ok and presentation was good. The mains arrived and looked fine but the burgers were overcooked and tasted like carboard. The waiter completely lost interest in us once he delivered the main course, we planned to ask for another drink but didn't get the chance to ask. He was only interested in new customers coming in. We didn't finish the burgers and chose to leave. Again it took forever to catch the writers eye and ask for the bill. We paid by the F&B App, we used the 2 for 1 mains deal, it slightly made up for the food. I like the new App to pay as you don't feel so pressured to leave a tip when people don't deserve it."

"Now as most people who know me are aware that this girl loves her burgers, can't get enough of them I'm always willing to try new varieties etc. I ordered online from Frankie Benny's a burger chips with a starter. It was delivered on time it was still quite warm, just not hot. Which was okay as at least it wasn't cold it was being delivered approx 4 miles from the restaurant to my home. It arrived in a box which opens up like a plate saved me having to use anything else apart from my fingers to eat with. The burger was nicely cooked after I removed the soggy lettuce tomato I demolished it very quickly. A girl who loves her food says Yummmm!! Chips were a little hard for me, as they had lost heat in their travels so I didn't eat them. I have visited Frankie Benny's many many times I've always enjoyed the food their drinks. The staff are friendly helpful. You can also see into their open kitchen to see the food being prepared. I do recommend this place for you to try. Have an awesome day!!
