"We don like the bugle Horn . But don't book via open table . They never had our booking . on their booking number or our name . I did receive the confirmation e mail and reminder . But they didn't have a record of it .So we got seated in the bar area Where we were on our own . The reception was quite cold could not accommodate us in the restaurant . We know it's a busy vintage in . They definitely not rushed off their feet . So that dammped little bit the whole experience"

"Started with a mix up over drinks this was corrected. We then both chose beetroot and goat's cheese mousse which looked quite lost on the large plate. We both found this starter very small and quite strange! I ordered chicken which was supposed to be served with seasonal vegetables......but I didn't get any! This has happened previously. Unfortunately we didn't have the menu so weren't able to check that veg was included so I just had chicken and mash. The chef was good enough to make a gluten free sauce for me. My friend had fish chips which she was quite happy with. She also enjoyed her cheesecake the only dessert I could have was ice cream but this was not very enjoyable. On leaving we followed the drive to the right as instructed, but on driving out and to the left onto the main road there was a loud bang under the car this has also happened previously presumably the suspension!"

"using the libelle for a stay with the drachenflies was always really satisfied with the quality of the food and the restaurant as a whole. yesterday the meal was very despicable. I had Tbe-Gammon, who was annoyed with a fried egg to have left the egg. the grinding time arrived with about 12 very fat chips and a gammonsteak. there was no salate or veg added look very bad on a large plate. most chips were wasted. since we use this restaurant all couple weeks, we may need to think again with this restaurant if the food quality continues to worsen."

"armed. wait over 10 minutes to ask what we want to drink. then waited 10 minutes to drink. then waited for our order. table next to us came after, but still to order and receive food before us. the starter was king prawns and it was the smallest part for the price and tasteless. we waited for over 40 minutes to the main page. in this time the table that came after us had finished eating there and we stayed waiting. not combined to the floor or in kitchens. very disappointed. I ordered a koks for my head and finished my head and koks did not arrive yet and that had to be canceled as I was tired to wait. very poor service. we were over when we were hungry."

"We were shown to our table and drinks were ordered and brought to us. Our order for main course was taken about five minutes later. All good so far. Some 50 minutes later we hadn’t received our food and I ask a member of staff whether we’d been forgotten. Then told that order was being plated up. Food arrived with staff apologies. Lamb roast was nice but veg a little undercooked for our liking as usual at most restaurants it seems. Beef was cooked to be medium-medium rare. Not to everyone’s liking especially the young ones. We ordered desserts and they were very good. The waitress told us at payment that the dessert was complimentary for the inconvenience of the long wait. Fair enough and thank you. Doesn’t take away from the fact we appeared to be forgotten. Not likely to return too soon. Sorry."

"Oh my goodness the refurb the have done looks amazing and the new menu will definitely ensure that I go back! So much to try!! This visit I tried the beef rib wow!! Sooo good! Would definitely recommend that. Then... tried La pomme for dessert!! Wow wow wow!! White choc in shape of apple, filled with cheesecake and apple compote then on the side apple sorbet!!! Yum!!!!! All they needed to do was put a sparkler on it and it would be a Mic drop!! If tou like apple you have GOT to try it!! Am looking forward to my next visit!! Ok...so on second visit had the slow roast pork belly YUM YUM YUM!!!! And of course had the La Pomme again! Definitely recommend!! Have just been there for Christmas dinner...and it was amazing!!! The food was absolutely delicious!! Would really recommend any to go for Christmas dinner in future! I had Beef Wellington and the meat was sooo succulent and tender!! The choices for starter, main and dessert made it very hard to choose but I know that whatever I would have chosen it would have been good!"

"Have used this restaurant for many years from when it was first built and sorry to say the standard of the food dived last night!The chicken pie had a drastic lac of Chicken!, Ribeye steak a bit tough, added portabella Mushrooms and pepper corn sauce from the menu, The Mushrooms was one small Mushroom ! The Pepper Corn sauce converted to jus.Very disappointed first night after Corvid year.The Bar staff are friendly and welcoming !The restaurant Manager on the night was very apologetic and tried to resolve the issues but the meal was over! the kitchen let her down. Hope they can resolve issues within the kitchen and get back up to standard off been one of the best places to eat in Wakefield."

"the personal is friendly and professional. the pub is dog friendly, always a plus. eating is of a good standard and there is a great choice of beer, spirituoses etc. many outside and inside seats. must not wait for food. there is the app to use that works brilliantly. the only negatiw; please make sure that their doggo pea are full and the dishes have water in them. I am sure if id ased it would have been sorted as it was to throw our own water for the dog."

"We like the traditional atmosphere at the White Hart. There is plenty of space even though the building is so ancient. We like the old tables, all different shapes and sizes. The bar area is really comfy and welcoming, all the decor is interesting and in keeping. The dining chairs are getting very well worn, a few replacements would be better. We like the menu, something for every size of appetite."

"I had been looking forward to this restaurant for a long time, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The service was good, and the staff was friendly, but the food wasn't served hot enough. The portion sizes were not worth the price, especially for the fried items we ordered. We waited a long time for the food, only to have a simple meal followed by dessert. The atmosphere was nice, but it was too warm inside. We had originally booked at Toby Carvery but decided to try Shaw Farm because of our previous experience. Looking back, I wish we had stuck with Toby. Honestly, I don’t think I'll be returning anytime soon."

"Bar service was great. Food was a terrible disappointment. Part of the food didn’t arrive and when I told a passing waiter that two items were missing, one incomplete item was brought out. My meal was either over cooked (roast vegetables) dry and not quite cooked (roast potatoes and triple cooked chips), or so undercooked that I couldn’t put my knife or fork into (huge chunks of carrot) and so left half of the items on the plate. No follow up was made so we were unable to point out our disappointment and I’d definitely not bother trying to eat here again."
