Slightly above average pub food. Friendly service. Nice old pub ambience. Only criticism is we were placed next to another table of diners whereas they could have easily spaced us further apart to lessen our covid risk.

The Cunning Man is a lovely place for a meal. The menu was greatly reduced and the experience is much better because if this. I had the best steak here! Service was great, food was great and Helen was amazing. Recommended highly. Thank you.

we met a friend who had visited before a last. the staff was very friendly and helpful. not all the tables were occupied, but the food and the drinks took one to appear. but it was worth waiting and we would definitely return. the log fire was a little cool out. a pretty country pub.

Was a bit dark had to use mobile phone touch to read menu. Lovely staff.. limited menu. Three choices I would have liked but all had mushrooms which I am allergic too. The starter pate was very poor for the money didn't look like pate and was really off putting . Actually looked like dog meat? Will be a while if we go back

my first visit in this restaurant with three friends and we were very impressed. excellent quality of food, with some different attitudes from the norm. one of our parties has problems that swallow through a cancer operation, and their needs have been efficiently treated. the staff was very friendly and polite. in any case a place for another visit.
