"Really enjoyed our time in Mem Has today. My fiancé and her friend really recommended it and, after attending the Police Station's fun day, we went there in search of something good to eat it. The staff were very accommodating, linking tables so that the 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children) could all sit together and then offering us a better table as soon as one became free. The food and the drink was well-priced and good value and the service was prompt after a slight problem with the drinks that was swiftly remedied. All in all, if you are looking for something good to eat with friendly service, get along to Mem Has!"

"We ate in the restaurant one night for dinner. There were 4 of us. The food was lovely but the service not so great. Initially there was a mistake with our drinks order which was quickly rectified. We then ordered starters and mains. When the mains came they only brought out 2 sides of chips instead of 4. They said the other 2 sides of chips would be a minute or two, however it soon became clear they had forgot to cook them as we waited 4/5 minutes before they arrived by which time our steaks were only warm. We also had to ask for water for the table 3 times. Looking at other reviews I think we were just unlucky and the waiter was having a bad day. We couldn’t fault the food. The waiter adjusted the bill and didn’t charge us for the chips or our first drink as way of apology."

"I have been a longtime patron of Maggie May's. While it may not be a fancy restaurant, they serve delicious home-cooked meals. The restaurant used to be known for having one of the best and largest breakfasts in Belfast. However, recently I have noticed a decline in the quality and portion size of the food. I have had a few disappointing deliveries, so I now prefer to dine in. During my recent visit, I was disappointed to see that the veggie fry was nearly half the size it used to be and now costs £9.50. The quality of the ingredients also seems to have decreased. Despite this, Maggie May's still offers a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. While I recommend sticking to more traditional menu items, such as breakfasts, chips, and milkshakes, overall the food is still decent. It is important to note that the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible and has only one small toilet at the back without changing facilities."

"A great restraunt. Great staff, good prices. We were staying at the Apex City of Edinburgh hotel whuch is where the restraunt is located. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and I could not find a fault with anything. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Robert who we saw a lot of during our stay is a credit to the restraunt/hotel. The quality of the food was excellent with plenty of choice at Breakfast. I can't comment on the price of breakfast as this was part of our stay. The price for lunch/dinner and drinks was very reasonable."

"more amazing place and good eating, but I was recently with my son and, although I really think that the staff a table for us without reservation, I was a little disappointed about a waiter who was clearly excited when I was complaining about the burger of my sohne. I ordered a barkburger with hand cutting chips for me and exactly the same for my son, but smaller (after the suggestion of the waiter). the waiter also tries to sell the simple burger with charalat, perhaps because with the children not really satisfied with nice, but I was clear when I said that was not my sad case, so I was happy to take the grindburger without alteration....or I thought that I was clear because I had received what I ordered for me, but my I will definitely be kinder back or because it was an amazing job"

"Had a Saturday evening dinner here with my wife on a weekend trip to London. Excellent food and good service. Recommend the beef fillet and the lamb shank. The house red (shiraz) was of a good quality. We enjoyed the meal so much that we came back for breakfast the following morning and were not disappointed. A big thank you to the chef, the maitre d' (gentleman from the Netherlands) and the waiting staff. Will definitely come back next time we are in town."

"The ‘big bagel’ was nice enough as were the chips. Sweet friendly waitress. Please do not order the nachos-they are flavourless and in my opinion the tortilla chips a little stale. Was a little hard work trying to get someone’s attention for the bill. I think they could do with one more member of staff to keep things running more smoothly eg clearing tables, wiping down seats and supplying the bill more promptly. I voiced my opinion at the time re the nachos but was met with a vacant stare and a ‘no ones ever complained about them before ‘. They bizarrely offered to take 10% off the cost of the nachos. A more commercially savvy response would have been ‘so sorry you didn’t like the nachos Ill take them off the bill as you’ve barely touched them. Hope to see you again next time’ There’s lots of competition in the area who in my opinion offer waaay better service. I believe the owner was behind the counter at the time who took no ownership of the situation-that was a shame but hey ho that’s why some businesses succeed and others don’t stand the test of time."

"Really nice restaurant and cocktail bar. The set menu was extremely good value for money, generous portions and high quality food. Full wheelchair accessible entrance to the hotel, with platform lift to the restaurant. Disabled toilets in the basement, accessible by lift."

"VQ (formerly Vingt Quatre) has been an institution on the Fulham Road in Chelsea for 18 years, an awesome 24 hour restaurant, they've just opened a new site in Bloomsbury just off Tottenham Court Road. I first went to VQ at around 8am on New Years Day a couple of years ago, after having around an hours sleep from the night before, and since then I've been at least once a month since. Tuesday evening was the VQ Bloomsbury soft launch, which was basically a chance for the new staff to test the waters and practice on some guinea-pigs who would come back no matter how bad the first practice was. I took along a couple of colleagues on Launch #1, and some friends on the second launch night. Dan...read more"

"Metropolis Restaurant in Coventry has a lovely ambiance and the staff members provide excellent customer service. They are attentive to food preferences and nothing is too much trouble for them. However, the prices for the food are a bit high considering the portion sizes."

"I got a roll and square sausage and tattie scone and a roll and black pudding with tattie scone, red sauce on both as per standard protocol. I enjoyed every aspect of both rolls. Even the rolls themselves were tasty and of good quality. I don't know if they were bought in or packaged, but it was none of your lower quality branding. Smashed both rolls into obliteration. I chewed them and swallowed. Absolutely dismantled them. I told my girlfriend I was going to destroy them and I certainly did. I am a man of my word. Anyway if you live within the vicinity of the place or passing by and are hungry I'd recommend going here. I wouldn't travel an ultra long distance for them though. Like if you live in Aberdeen or something. I am sure you can find a place almost as good if you live too far away. This concludes my report."

"Ordered 2 salad boxes at a cost of £15! Asked for extra ham and extra cheese came with 3 small pieces of something pretending to be ham and small scoop of cheese The other was to be a tuna extra tuna and cheese salad extra cheese and salad cream (came with no cheese or tomato or salad cream) Basically a can of tuna on a bed of lettuce Took an hour to arrive and was terrible! Rang the shop to try and sort it out for 30 minutes and no one picked up Pathetic service and pathetic food I do have pics but doesn't appear to be an option to share. Won't be using again"

"Just off Princess street in town, I made a visit for dinner around 8ish on a Friday evening with my boyfriend. To my surprise the restaurant was very quiet and only had a few tables in but you can't judge the food by that. Also, the host asked if we were guests of the hotel we didn't even know there was a hotel there so to my assumptions this bar and grill is part of the Arora hotel (but it's nice that they kept the buildings separate) But other than that, we were seated quickly in a booth and had a few cocktails and wine to start while we decided what to eat... Starters: Cannelloni of oak smoked salmon (with cream cheese, poached quail egg on toast, hot toddy puree) £8.50 The...read more"
